Description
Standing tall and broad shouldered, this thin slender
human stands before you. His narrow nose, thin and long,
his eyes firm and filled with an inner strength. His
hair is shiny and smooth, flowing to his waist in waves,
his skin has a delicate tinge of bronze and the weathered
look of a seasoned traveller. His hands move swifly through
the air, tendrils of mana writhe up his arms into his robe.
Through his robe it is quite easy to trace the flow of his
body into a thin and trimmed waistline. Ilirenen walks with
a flowing grace not common, as if he were mearly floating
along the ground instead of taking full strides.

The Becoming

Within his deepest of hearts, Ilirenen had a dislike for the necromancer,
not for his treatment of Ilirenen, no, that could be dismissed...
Ilirenen thought back to the choice he had made, to save his orphaned
brothers and sisters in trade for his own life. If he had to choose again
he would do the same, again and again. Yet, there had to be another way...
"Light grant me the courage and strength..." Ilirenen would say under his
breath in a silent prayer. He opened his eyes and look around the dank celler,
intestines and bile filling the corners, his arms strong from lifting the
exploded corpses, his hair long in his young manhood, the Tendrils of Arcane
prowess carressing his body. Ilirenen's mind and body has been punished, beaten
and belittled, yet his soul shined with an intense purity and purpose...
There is another way, he thought to himself, there is another way to defeat
this taint, another way to become the shield of the innocent, and the spear.
Some time later, the necromancer had brought yet another stack of embalmed
corpses, his undead army carrying the wieght for him, they muttered and grumbled
as they shuffled into the dank cellar.
"YOU THERE WHELP!" The dark mage called to Ilirenen. "You'd best be hastening
your learning boy, the time has come to claim my place upon the throne..."
Ilirenen raised his eyes for the first time and look straight into the Imperials.
"Perhaps your plains to capture power are flawed, Sir... I cannot alter these
beings as you wish..."
"BECAUSE YOU HAVE FAILED BOY!" Screamed the Necromancer, "YOUR MAGICS ARE WEAK
AND USELESS!!! You have succeeded in only destroying them you useless whelp!"
The necromancer pulled from his robe a familiar beating rod, and for a moment
his hand froze in place. Confused he looked up with a puzzled look on his face
at Ilirenen, a glow eminating from his body, his eyes pulsed with inner strength
and power as tendrils of mana lept from his hands.
"Perhaps you are right, sir, you are right... I can only destroy the dark..."
The necromancers face became rigid, a scream of untold agony pushing the last bit
of air from his lungs as his chest caved in from the tremendous strength
of Ilirenen's magic. Bile and Vomit mixed with crimson blood spewing from
his mouth, his ears and nose. A sickening crunch could be heard as his internal
organs were punctured by his own ribcage.
Ilirenen closed his eyes, prayed to the light, grateful for the courage and
strength he had been granted. He opened them once again, looking at his
former master laying on the ground, his face frozen in endless terror.
Then Ilirenen dissapeared.

My wife and I have just had a baby, I might need to leave
suddenly when normally I would not. I might break my sessions
without warning, be it good timing or bad.
A necromantic affair

NO NO NO! The rod snapping against Ilirenen's back, his flesh
tingling and burning under his robe, the odd feeling of his skin
being cracked, the heat of his blood rising to the pulsing welt.
Another corpse sat exploded upon the ground, the bodies piled
high against the wall of the imperial cellar the dark necromantic
energies swirling around the expelled zombies.
AGAIN! came the shout Ilirenen watched again as the Sorcerer
animated to life yet another a rattling gasp escaping their rigored
blue mouths DO IT NOW!
Ilirenen focused his immense arcane prowess into the undead corpse,
transforming it's muscles, flesh and heart into something unnaturally
powerful, the marriage of his and the sorcerer's magic's overlapping,
tendrils of mana filling the room as the stone floors shook about him
a mighty and powerful roar escaping the undead moments before its innards
exploded violently, the muscles ripping themselves from bone, a loud POP
echoing through the cellar as bones internally snapped, the undead bodies
contorted wrecked and bent in odd misshapen forms.
The eyes of the powerful necromancer burned holes through Ilirenen's
downturned head Ilirenen prayed silently to himself, prayed for the courage
prayed for strength his lips trembled, and his breathing stuttered as he
sought the memory of purity within his mind so simple a thing so
unattainable in his mind
A dark chuckle interrupted his thoughts, as the sorcerer muttered,
Clean up this mess you've made whelp, on your knees and scrub the stone,
boy before I beat you again.
The Orphanage and the Empire.

From the battlefields of the past came a name, shouted and mighty.
Reverberated through the tower of the masters, a name known through history.
That name, was unknown to Ilirenen, as he was just an orphan, an orphan boy
tossed to the pages of history to forget. Truly he would be exterminated if
his prowess discovered. Unlike the other students of the school, his inherent
knowledge and talent of magic was apparent to him, not knowing what it was he
truly possessed. His Prodigious nature coming to light only within the pitchest
of deep darkness. Twiddling his fingers together and creating balls of light in
secret, he hid what others could not see. His magic's of concealment even then
guarding his well being closely.
One early morning, while his classmates slept, Ilirenen awoke to walk along
the road and listen and feel for the force that pulled at his heart. The open
air and the warming sky an invigorating sight to see. He knew where not to step
to avoid the gaze of Thrym, and he kept his head down low, his hands folded behind him
A sorcerer of sorts hurried down the main road of the village, Ilirenen, keeping
his head down, was nearly trampled by his entourage of strange company.
WATCH IT BOY! Shouted the Sorcerer, his coweled sneer turning to Ilirenen's
downturned face. His unintelligent company turning simultaneously in his direction,
loud grunts and stench emanating from their rotting forms.
I .. I .. wasn.. Ilirenen stammered.
Silence!, Continued the Sorcerer, You speak to a citizen of the empire whelp!
When you speak! Speak up boy!
Ilirenen raised his face and gazed at the scorn of the mighty sorcerer, his dark
magic's swirling about his form. The sorcerer looked into his eyes, and his gaze
shifted about the boy, yes, he noticed something, something that escaped his gaze
before... his scowl started to turn into a menacing grin, as thoughts of how he
could use this boy to wrench control from that bitch of an empress, yes
betrayal filled his mind.
You! How do you enjoy spending your days mopping the slop from the ground and
listening to that damned paladin mumble on about utter nonsense! Huh! Speakup!
Said the Sorcerer.
I I guess it's allrig Replied Ilirenen meekly.
I offer you opportunity young mage. The Sorcerer Said, cutting him off.
Ilirenen's head snapped up, fear in his eyes.
Oh, worry not, young one, He said with a chuckle. I shall keep your secret safe
but In return I seek your oath of allegiance, and perhaps I shall teach you a
thing or two of the true power of magic magic your spirit yearns to learn
Ilirenen turned back to the orphanage; it's warm bed and loud halls filling his mind.
BOY! The Sorcerer snapped, that is your PAST whelp. I am your future. Turn back now,
and know I shall kill all you know, and let you watch before I empty your skull and
feed it to my servants
The entourage of undead grunted in amusement, shambling closer to Ilirenen.
What do you want of me? Ilirenen asked.
The Sorcerer chuckled, his fingers clasped together in anticipation,
