Description
This statuesque half-drow has long, touseled silver hair and skin
the color of slate. Pensive almond eyes the color of warm topaz
evaluate the world from above an aquiline nose. The ghost of crows
feet and frown lines mark his expressive face, the only hint of his
true age.
His confident posture and graceful movements are reminiscent of a
dancer, or perhaps a fencer and are unmarred by the weight of time.
Sporting a bit of roguish stubble and rakish style of dress, Imogrezio
cuts a dashing figure both on stage and in the battlefield.
At his hip he carries a careworn leather satchel stamped with a stylized
blue butterfly.

Introduction

Imogrezio is a young half-drow looking to make a name for himself.
Having never known his father, he took wholly after his storyteller
mother. Entranced by her tales of adventure, romance, and whimsy he
took to accompanying her performances with those of his own - songs
that would recount her tales in lyrical form.
Alas, Terenzana perished of old age when he was but a child of 15
years. Alone in an uncertain world his innocence was dashed not by
the harsh reality of his predicament, but rather the eventual
realization that those tales of heroism and wonder which he cherished
so dearly were complete works of fiction.
Heartbroken, he vowed to honor his mother's memory and carry on the
family business in his own way. Telling tall tales of valor about
fictitious characters simply would not do. If these stories were not
true, he would MAKE them true! He set out on the road once more, head
swimming with ambitions to slay villains and woo maidens, to swindle
the proud and above all prove the uncommon triumph of the common man.
He'd need connections to fuel his ambitions and unfettered access to a
wide audience as he spun tale into truth. The Inn of the Eternal Star
would do splendidly.
Though Imogrezio considers himself to be the hero of his story, no good
hero is without his flaws. He is not adverse to using underhanded methods
in his quest for glory, leaning more towards trickery and coercion when
pressed to do ill. As a consequence of his questionable parentage, he
also harbors a strong distaste for condescension and may lash out if he
feels he is being patronized or dismissed. He is especially distrustful
of elves for this reason, as they generally view drow-kin as morally and
intellectually inferior.
A dubious inheritance

I met a drow who claims to be my father.
Ziviriz has been no stranger to me. Paranoid and reactionary he
surrounds himself with half-truths to eke out some perceived
advantage. From the moment I met him, he has attempted to
steer me to his ends. If his familial claims hold water they
certainly do not do him any favors.
To disappear for decades without a word all these years, only
to return offering manipulation and interrogation?
My mother was right. I was better off not knowing him.
