Description

Dark grey eyes scan across the surroundings of this tall female elf. Her glossy hair, so black it holds shades of blue, is shaved except for a long swath, four inches or so in length, resembling a mane, which sweeps from her forehead to the back of her head, spilling down her back in a plume. Her face is lean and pale, marked by a trace of mischief, her lips are typically pursed in a slight, mischievous smile. Two tattoos decorate her body, an elaborate spiraling star in hues of indigo and purple around her left eye, framing it and a beautiful shining emerald oak on her right forearm, a pulsing green light emanating from it, enveloping her well-muscled form.

Added Thu Jun 30 22:52:16 2016 at level 51:
She has reached the pinnacle of her guild but has not reached her full
potential as a warder, a warrior, or as a person. As she rose through the
ranks she experienced highs and lows that came in the form of guidance from a
benevolent ancient to traumatic experiences dealing with the mages of death
and demons bent on gaining power regardless of the consequences. These
experiences were recorded in short poems that she keeps to herself, so to
never forget.

She is a follower of the dogma of Strienat, she believes that life is to be
protected and not extinguished, unless in the protection of the life. Born
under the sphere of Vivimancy, she is strongly influenced by the life giving
forces in the world, the Sun especially. She longs to one day be able to bask
in the radiance of the Summer Gods Glade.

Imryll is trying to find her place within the Outlanders and how to interact
with the other branches within the Tree. Sentinels she views as the most
pragmatic, light or dark matter little, actions of the individuals are
sometimes taken into account but for the most parts those professions and
races on the Bark deemed unwelcomed are shunned or even hunted. Reavers are
seen as reapers of blood and death, they fight for the sake of it. She feels
that if there was nothing to burn as they love to say, their existence
would be rather dangerous for everyone around them, especially Wardens. She
has met a precious few other Wardens, some more militant than others, but all
in all she believes them to be benevolent beings, doing their part to
preserve what is left of Thar-Eris and usher the return. Violence for her
last result, in her view blood begets blood, and is not her first choice to
solve conflicts. However, she will not shy away from a fight, regardless of
the odds, as long as it is in protection of life.

For Imryll, the return of Thar-Eris is when those in the cities and those in
the wilds can live in harmony, respecting the beauty of life. She does not
seek to tumble and burn the cities, for that would also take life. There is a
way for all who live to coexist, it is just the more difficult path, as it is
much easier for many to just kill or enslave those who do not prescribe to
their views.

When dealing with lightwalkers that have chosen paths that are seen as taboo
by many members of the cabal, they are seen as potential allies as opposed to
potential enemies. Lightwalkers that are members of the Blood Tribunal are
seen as lost children, that have lost their way in the labyrinth of
civilization. Luckily for all of the light, Imryll always leaves the torch
lit, as a beacon in the darkness, should they seek to learn of what Thar-Eris
means to her.

Vivimancy

Added Fri Jul 8 00:34:19 2016 at level 51:
For one that respects all life, Imryll finds herself at times wondering if
she should have joined a guild with more curative skills, such as a healer.
However, she chose to be a warrior, which is focused on the art of war that
facilitates the ability to take life in the protection of life. While this is
acceptable in the dogma of Strienat, when loss of life occurs, it affects her
negatively. She knows it was not her fault, and more often than not she is
not the initiator of the bloody affair, but the guilt is the result of her
feelings that she did not do enough to conserve life, even one of an opponent
in battle. While many count victories by how many they manage to slay in
battle, Imryll considers victories by how many opponents she can deter from
taking up arms. She understands that some will seek blood regardless of her
efforts thus then and only then does violence become the chosen means to show
that life has the means to defend itself.

Creation, Chaos and the Sun

Added Tue Jul 26 00:05:49 2016 at level 51:
Born under the sphere of Vivimancy, Creation and Chaos are also seen as
essential elements of life. For when the Sun shines, nourishment is provided
to help spark life. However, the spark without Creation, would be just be a
dim light, there would be no being, and Creation without Chaos would make for
a life constrained and without freedom. Life cannot be contained, making it
chaotic by nature. There are those who try to stifle the randomness of life,
by seeking to stop the natural cycle by delving into dark arts in hopes to
prolong their time living and become something not alive and not dead. Those
who reach the twisted state of undeath are to be put to the scythe and cut
down in order to bring the cycle back into balance because they are the
antithesis of how creation and chaos make life. She now hones her skills as
she journeys in life, in this trek she gains confidence in herself and faith
in the Emerald Oak.

A path less violent? Perhaps.

Added Fri Jul 29 13:47:54 2016 at level 51:
The path of the warrior, which relies on material vestments to strike down a
foe is powerful, it is the trade of war. However, priests, they who choose to
rely on faith and not the material, that give themselves to their faith, both
body and soul can be indomitable. As in times before the great cities were
built, before the firstborn turned from the wilds and the savagery that at
times is needed to protect the wilds, she wishes to return to the ancient
ways. Thus, she will seek to be a shaman for the Awakened Ancient. This path
is not to facilitate the destruction of enemies but to deter those who would
cause harm while a shaman dedicated to the protection of life walks the
realm, to defeat them without even engaging her enemies, to let their fear
take over. Additionally, she hopes that if she does have the spiritual
fortitude to become a priest, enemies seeking to still spill blood will be
drawn like moths to a flame, in attempts to destroy a defender of life,
keeping these murderers from other possible victims. Lastly, Imryll senses a
growing power in the Temple in Arkham, as the unholy cult members plot with
the undead, devils, and deamons the Tree shall be the first line of
defense for life and the light.

Life for all, be they Warden, Sentinel, or Reaver

Added Mon Aug 8 16:08:10 2016 at level 51:
All who embrace Thar-Eris, view their path to be the most worthwhile. The
three encompass all of what Thar-Eris is, cruel, kind and full of wonder.
Thus, as Imryll does her part, however minimal, she must also help even those
who wish to hunt her down within the Tree. She understands the cycle, that
those who prey shall become prey and then hunters again. However, she will
not help those who cause harm and loss of life against foes that are not
enemies of Thar-Eris.

A scroll to an Ancient

Added Tue Aug 23 15:06:18 2016 at level 51:
My Awakened Ancient, steward of Life. The items of power I chose were gained
without having to shed blood or take life, which is most important to me. I
felt it not right to take life in the pursuit of becoming a priest that
embraces the living and freedom of choice.

The first, the Staff of Striking. The staff while powerful, looks like an
ordinary weapon. However, it can create a pummeling fist that can crush an
enemy. I chose this as her item to represent chaos. Chaos can erupt at a
moments notice, without warning, and from one least expects it. I chose one
item to be a weapon as tribute to my current trade, it allowed to me to make
it this far in life, and the profession of a warrior should not be
discounted.

The second, an oval sapphire pendant with a silver chain. This item, was
created for a specific purpose, to allow passage and protect within what is
left of Veran and likely created by powerful magics but still pulses with
life like energy. While purpose is something that is not always guaranteed
when sentient beings draw their first breath, it can be instilled through
experiencing life. Which leads to the next item representing vivimancy.

Vivimancy, life giving, the sun, the light, the sphere of Imryll. The Eternal
Flame of Champions is what she chose. It shines as bright as the sun, it
provides warmth, but most importantly it represents what she wishes to
embody, a champion for life, defender to all who draw breath, and provider of
sustenance. For the Sun always rises even after the darkest of nights.

For me, the path of the emerald oak, is to allow life to flourish, wherever
it may choose. Who are we to stop it? Live and let live as long as they do
not seek to destroy for destructions sake. There must be a reason, a very
good one, for life to be extinguished. Even those within the cities or
empires, let them sit in their walled prisons, Imryll will always offer a
second path, freedom to live as they choose unchained by restrictions imposed
by those who seek to control for the sake of power.

I leave these items within your shrine, the battles are many, as those who
seek to extinguish life, are drawn like a moth to the flame. I prayed for
you, but I understand that your responsibilities to the beyond call you away.
Just know, that I will be ready until by last breath.

Imryll

Faith, Love and Lust

Added Mon Sep 5 19:59:04 2016 at level 51:
As Imryll traverses the path to enlightenment, she has begun to cease the use
of magical protections, such as potions and pills to aid in battle. Her faith
in life, chaos, and creation are now her shield against harm. She will purify
her body and mind by facing those who seek to extinguish life, she will stand
before the reapers, to allow the living to thrive.

Faith is not the only thing that her stirred Imrylls drive, Lin-Ha has
caught her eye. The years that Imryll has spent in the Tree, she had not
noticed how beautiful the priestess until now. Her naked form haunts the
warriors dream and she spends most, if not all of her free time near her
at the base of the Tree of Ages. She finds herself mesmerized as Lin-Ha
utters the ancient prayers, the connection the priestess has the to the
Ancients, her devotion to her faith, are the other qualities that further
draw Imryll in. Her wants for Lin-Ha also drive Imryll, for love and lust are
emotions that those who live life to the fullest can only hope to experience.
Even if Lin-Ha doesnt notice Imrylls wandering eye, she is more than
content being able to be close to her under the branches of the Tree and
surrounded the flames of the Spirit.

The Mark

Added Sun Oct 2 18:32:58 2016 at level 51:
Travelling in the woods near Evermoon Hollow, Imryll took a stroll, to find
Trees she could climb to get a better vantage point and to better learn the
wood. Then the Ancient appeared before her, a kind smile was beamed and they
conversed. She thought that this was yet another test, to ensure she was
committed to the ways of life, chaos, and creation. What she did not expect
was a mark, her understanding of herself and her place in the cycle had
improved, but this honor, filled her with joy and a will to keep learning
what it really means to be, alive. Her path to become a shaman, representing
the Ancient, is still important to her, but after he entrusted this gift to
her, there is no rule that one must be a shaman to be a priest or preacher of
a faith. If there was such a rule, it would be Imrylls duty to challenge
it, in life barriers must be challenged, broken or traversed. So her journey
was a warden, elf, and now a sort of preacher. She will reason with all who
will listen and still draw breath in their lungs to live that life is more
than just death, blood and the pursuit of the material. A life well lived can
be more than the body count that was left behind, it can be about the lives
that were not wasted.

What is a Baron of Chaos?

Added Thu Dec 22 14:41:01 2016 at level 51:
A Chaos that Imryll does not understand is gaining strength. One of the
tenets found in the Dusty Tome of the Ancients claims that Entropy seeks to
bring Thera to its natural state. How can one bring something like Chaos as
opposed to letting it finds its own course? These beings seem to want to
force Chaos, or their interpretation of it, down everyones throats, like
it or not. What she finds even more disturbing is that they welcome
necromancers and dark knights to help them do this. A Chaos that is fueled by
these two types of magician cannot be good. Imryll shall watch the rise of
these Barons hoping for the best.
