Description
Shrouded in blue, a frail figure stands before you. The male's body
structure is not as well built as most of his brethren. The man wears a robe
with silver lining. His hair is grey and grown to his mid-back.
His hair, which must have been cut by himself long ago, consists of three
strands that weave in and out of eachother. At the top of this pony tail
a band of silver engraved with "Ethelle" encircles his hair.
Six silver wire-like strands branch off of this band weaving in, out, and
around his hair, keeping it tame.
A small silver angel figurine wraps it's wings around the end of his pony
tail. The strands of silver end up connecting to this figurine.
His frame is small but he stands a tall five feet nine inches. His eyes are
hazel, the emerald in them is predominant though. His movements are mostly
calculated but his agility has been hampered over the years from his age.
His face has worry lines and marks from smiling many years. His expression
is usually peaceful. His complexion is flawed by his old age yet his face is
still slightly boney. Yet the main sign of his true age resides within his e
this man has seen many things.

When I was a young child growing up in Darsylon, my parents died when I was
still very young. My mother and father were slain by the empire when I was
young. I was raised by my guild master until I was of age to go out on my
own. It was then that I decided to move to Galadon. I took what little I
had and moved there for more training in the arts. This is where my story
begins. My mind is set. I will protect all from those who have slain my
parents. This is my calling, my path will be of the eternal light.
Vanquish

I think that now I am strong enough to protect the youngest of those of the
light but not much farther than that. I must work harder or I will be unable
to effectively protect my fellow elves and all of those of the light. I will
bring the empire to Justice for their crimes against my family and this
entire world. If the acolytes will accept me I will have a chance against
the empire. I need the gods of light more than even I realize.I need them
far more then they need me. I am but a peon compared to them and yet they
would offer power to such a lowly being if they assist them in protecting
what they believe in. I wonder sometimes, is it that this world is in
balance? Is that why they seek younglings? Even a peon can make a small
difference in this world. I will fight for the light, for justice. I dont
want to just protect the younglings. I want to vanquish evil from this plain
of existence! I will vanquish the Empire and the evil they stand for!

A young applicant came to the fortress to talk. He spoke of Lauraine.
I...I have been avoiding the subject for quite some time now.
I had feelings for her before she became immortalized. My heart,
it cries in agony for all that was left unsaid. But...she changed,
just before she became a god. Speaking with her afterward confirmed
what I had thought. It felt like her compassion was gone, her spark,
and with that my heart went too. I thought that perhaps she could
be replaced in my heart. Just as I had done to that elf invoker
I once met in the Inn. But I was wrong, my heart will forever be
Lauraines. Forgive me, my love.

*Three seperate notes locked away in the Marshall's desk*
Lauraine,
Forgive me. For once I had thought you were right for me.
I started to fall in love with my mentor. But I knew it
was foolish to believe that you would ever return my
affection. Thank you, my lady. You have allowed me to
find true love and helped me on my path. I owe you much.
I am happy now. Please keep a watchful eye over Ethelle
if and when I do die. I have not long left in this world
but I have lived a good life. I thought you might want to
know how I felt.

Lord Corrlaan,
Thank you, my lord. You have given me so much. My trusty
mace 'Blaze' and you held my wedding. There are no words
to express my thanks that would be enough. I do thank
you with all of my heart. I am sorry that I was not a better
servant. Know that I serve you without words, nor with prayers
to your name, but with action. Thank you, Lord of Archons.

Ethelle,
Forgive me, my love. My body will eventually give out and has
if you are reading this. (Or you are sneaking into my desk drawers.)
There is nothing I can do to change that. I will be waiting
for you in the fields, my love. If we have children before I
do die...I will make arangements with others to make sure that
you have help with raising them. They will be raised without
their father...but I'm sure you are strong enough to do it alone.
I love you, Ethelle. I love you more than I love the first frost
of the year. I love you more than all else I hold dear.
Forgive me.
