Description
A mature arial is before you, showing evidence of cataclysmic abuse and
suffering. Once shiny black eyes are dulled by grief and fear, with a milky
white haze beginning to form - a harbinger of further problems in the
future. The cracked remains of a broad yellow beak are loosely held together
with lengths of copper wire and rough bronze studs, while once opalescent
white feathers show permanent damage from some great fire or explosion in
the past. Yellow taloned feet show innumerable small scars as if exposed to
a blast of debris, and the remains of a well crafted chain shirt hang
loosely over his torso. A scorched rucksack hangs over his left shoulder,
carrying several blackened books and scrolls mixed among simple items of
food and clothing.
Role
The Tower

So, the Tower has fallen. Subliminated, vaporized, detonated - fallen.
The initial shock has passed, as has the sadness and pain. While I embraced what the Tower represented
, I cannot pretend that our ranks were swelling numbers. Perhaps I could have done something to save it,
perhaps its salvation was beyond any means. I do know that I must still keep hope alive that some part of the Grimoire
survived intact. Gaining that, perhaps with great effort and skill, it could be made whole again. This is my hope for now, and
I will pursue that avenue of investigation until I am shown the truth of it, no mater the end result
Failing Health

It seems like several lifetimes since the Tower has fallen, and so I feel my
own life begin to fade. I had opportunity to speak briefly with Gherian - it is good to know
that others that remember still inhibat the realms. My failing health has become a concern -
once I would not have cared, but now I have found new purpose to my life. I will see what I
can do to prolong my lifespan a short time longer....
