Description
This giant stands about fifteen feet in height, although his muscled build is
fairly lean for such a creature, reminding one of a dancer more than the
hulking giant that he is. His skin is a uniform light, translucent blue in
color. He is dressed in the simple, loose-cut beige robes of a travelling
monk. He is relatively clean for an adventurer, and his armor and weapons
are well-maintained. In contrast to his otherwise meticulous appearance, the
giant's green hair is worn long and relatively wild. A festive blue scarf
is tied at his neck.

Jaraffazar is a studious warrior-monk, seeking knowledge of the world and self
through a thorough regimen of meditation and martial training. In studying the
art of war he hopes to find both inner peace and the strength to defend the
innocent and create a better world for all sentient creatures.
He's also as gay as the day is long.
During a quiet childhood on the lake of storms, Jaraffazar grew up studying
the martial arts and acting as a missionary to less fortunate peoples. He
frequently sought answers to life's questions meditating in the heart of a
storm as his people are often said to do. As he grew into adulthood, he was
drafted into the storm king's army to assault the slopes of the dread
fire-mountain Kiadana. His platoon didn't even make it to the Dragon Sea
before Jaraffazar was dishonorably discharged from the army. The other storm
giant soldiers felt uncomfortable around the cheerful giant. Although they
thought of themselves as open-minded and freedom-loving people, they were all
too eager to cast him out.
He wandered for a time feeling the outcast, eventually reaching the city of
Hamsah Mu'tazz. To his surprise, the gate guards there greeted him cheerfully.
"What a super place!" he thought, deciding to remain there for a while.
Hamsah Mu'tazz wasn't quite the paradise he had hoped. Crime and fire
constantly raged through the streets, hurting innocent citizens and disrupting
his meditations. While meditating during a sandstorm one day, he realized the
answer to all of his problems was to join the Blood Tribunal in safeguarding
the city. He would get to help combat the disorder in the streets, and he
could concieve of no better use and trial for his budding martial talents.
