Description
Ahead of you in the shadows you notice a small figure. Dressed in black
silks and armors, he checks his surroundings with a keen eye. His hair
is black and greasy, tied back with a leather thong. Dirt covers his face
and his teeth are broken and stained. He moves silently through the streets
unnoticed by most. The long cloak he wears blows slightly in the breeze,
giving you a glimpse at the collection of daggers hidden within. He scans
the horizon a moment, then pulls a large coin from his pocket. With
nimble fingers he moves the coin across his knuckles back and forth
seemingly without effort. His posture is bent giving his slight frame an
even smaller appearance. He flips the coin into the air and it vanishes
from sight as if by magic. As he notices your attention, he grins slightly
and winks, producing the coin from behind your ear.

Jekor was born into a loving family. From a very early age he began his life of crime stealing food for his
mother Amisha and sister Jetta. His father was killed in battle on the faraway shores of the Isle of Corte.
He remembers the day he heard the messenger bring the news to his distraught mother. He vowed to support her
and his baby sister. He was raised to uphold the law, and had his mother known of his criminal deeds she would
have been heartbroken. He allowed her to believe he took apprecticeship under the butcher of Hamsah, though he
secretly worked with the thieves guild. Seemingly born to pilfer, he took to the art of picking pockets with
ease. He worked his fingers every day, honing his skills at slight of hand. Given his father's prized coin,
found in his journey to the underwater lands of the fish people. He always keeps it in his possession. He is
quite fond of good humor, and seems always in a good mood. He is quick to find things funny and can be annoying
to those who lack his comedic acts. Though inside he hides the fact that he hates others with more wealth than
himself. Jealousy deep in his heart, he seeks to gather his fortune so that no one will look down upon him. He
strives to be bold like his father and seems unafraid of even some of the most dangerous of adventures. In his
youth he has explored places that most would flee in terror. He can be kind and friendly at times, though like
a flip of his coin, he can be cruel in his lust for treasures.
Jekor Huckleburr, Finder of Lost Secrets and Treasures

Having mastered his skills as a pickpocket, Jekor began his search of the lands for treasures. He fought his way through the dreaded woods of the
dire wolves to the fabled Octogonal Tower to delve it's secrets. He travelled deep into the foggy forest in search of the tower of Thar-Acacia. Along
the way he heard tales of the mighty Captain Neltouda and her band of bold adventurers. He is very intrigued with the idea of their bravery in the
face of unknown dangers and their compulsion to see what secrets lie in the terrible places of these lands. As instructed by his newfound ally Thelana
he sent a missive to the Captain to tell her the tale of thier trek. Asking of her to allow him a place in the crew of the Maiden. Seeking further
excitement he delved the deeps of Yezkon and saw the dark dwarves in their lands. He learned much from his journeys and took off to the dark mines of
Aran'Gird and fought his way back, leading his party of adventurers. Many new things he learned in his journeys and he is always quick to tell a tale
of his accomplishments. Hording his newfound relics and items of power he shares only with those he deems a friend, those of whom are very short in
number. He developed a rather strange relationship with an outlander Garric, who he saw was lacking in knowledge of the lands. He enjoys their talks
and is quick to help the ranger by providing him with new found weapons. Though once a friend of Allysia, he soon began to see that she was not truly
a trustable ally. Dying twice in attempts to help her she broke his heart as she left him to die deep in the watery depths of the Aboleth's lair. He
was truly hurt by this and will have a hard time in accepting new friends as quickly in the future. He plans many new quests in search of treasures
and glory.
The Further Adventures of Jekor Huckleburr

Jekor's many battles have brought him to death's door many times. He began to feel the affects of his demise, and searched the lands
for ways to improve his health. Sitting in his usual spot at the rabbit's corner, he overheard talk of a ritual to extend ones life.
The smell of a new quest brought that familiar feeling in his feet, he had someplace to go. Delving the blackness of the underdark
once again in his search, he came upon a strange shrine sitting in solitude. Upon further investigation he found many clues telling
the tale of a drow of long ago. Taking to his new task with great excitement he studied the forgotten manse descovering many things.
Once he had seen all he could, he decided the time was right. Through trial and error he worked diligantly to solve the mystery before
him. Then, when he was about to give up, he sat staring at the dust covered tables, his mind clicked and the final piece fell into place.
With a spring in his step he ascended back to the land of the sun. Triumphant in his quest, he felt a new strength he had lost in his
adventures. He was ready again to find something lost, or hidden from him.
Back to the gambler he sped to tell tales of his journey. Though many thought him daft, or called him a liar. He decided it best to keep
the secrets of this safe, not everyone needs live to another day. There was a crowd gathered at the fireplace and a missive had been
sent to all the lands. A contest of tales! He could not refuse this, for it was his life's calling to see everything and share the stories
with the lands. He listed with excitement of tales of past heroes. Many a wonderous tale was told. Soon it came to him to tell a tale.
He enjoyed every moment of sharing the story of his ancestor. A tale of wits and fast fingers that the crowd truly enjoyed. When he finished
there was such clapping and hooting and hollering he was pleased they liked it so much. A wide smile on his face, he overheard the news
of the death of the dark wizard Volkov. Having seen the mage in combat, he knew of the treasures he coveted and decided a new task was at
hand. Delving into murky swamps he crossed the muddy landscape until he reached the heart. Studying his path, he soon had figured out
the way of the bogs and how to reach what few civilized places there were. He made plans to bring back the fabled stoneform amulet, and
would not rest until it was his. Using all his resources, he fought his way through to the prize he sought. Another tale to be told, for
he had with him many legendary things that must be shown to the world. He brought back his new stories to the Maiden, but alas has yet
to hear from the Captain, to share his tales. He shall continue to return there till she smiles at him and grants him a place on the crew.
