Description
Before you stands a large bull with massive horns protruding from his head.
His body is wide and muscled like an oversized human. His arms ripple with
strength and the muscles of his legs are well defined. Brown hair with a
touch of orange cascades from his large bovine head down to his shoulder
blades. The same colored hair starts again at his calves all the way to his
cloven hooves. He has a large ornate ring in his snout. He carries a shield
in one hand and an axe in the other. The hilt of a sword also protrudes over
his shoulders having been strapped on his back. He wears fine dark clothing.
His eyes are the color of polished rubies and scan his surroundings
constantly.
As you look closer you notice that...

A taste of Divine Power

As the curtain pulls back a very opulent and vivid scene opens up in your
view. Before you is a massive throne room of the richest dcor. The walls
are made of gold and jewels of all shades and sizes adorn the walls. In the
middle of the room is a massive throne giving off light and a large
bottomless pit. The throne appears to be the major source of light in the
room and the pit gives off an odd light of its own. Seated on the throne is
a godly duergar holding a massive scepter. In front of the throne two large
beings kneel before the duergar. On the left is a large minotaur with
orangish hair and dark hooves. Kneeling on the right is a massive fire giant
slightly older and larger than the minotaur. The duergar god motions to the
minotaur and laughs at him as he speaks. Moments later the minotaur stands
and begins to act out the desire of his heart for the godly duergar. The
duergar laughs at him but the movements are fairly clear though seem sorta
ridiculous. The duergar whispers to the fire giant, but the minotaur shrugs
it off going through the motions of seeking what he obviously wants. The
duergar nods at the minotaur and the fire giant. The fire giant says
something and the minotaur seems angered. The duergar nods again and the
fire giant stands and wears his weapon and shield. The duergar nods once
more and the younger minotaur strikes at the fire giant. They blind each
other and continue to fight. The minotaur poisons the giant and on they
continue. The minotaur beats on the giant again and again making him run.
You watch as the scene quickly shifts as the minotaur runs out from the gods
temple and onto some plains north of a large city. The minotaur quickly
makes his way to the altar of the large city and pays for the healing of his
blindness. He then seeks out the fire giant who again blinds him and runs.
The minotaur then seeks the healer once more. Having his sight restored the
minotaur finds the giant again, cowering in the mountains. He dispatches his
life for good during this moment and takes his gold, claiming it as his own.
Moments later the scene shifts back to the throne room and the duergar. One
last time the duergar nods and both figures glow with the light of some of
his power.
The root of envy.

The scene opens up to a young minotaur making his way along a paved street in
Seantryn Modan. He carries in his hand a large stick and is swishing it
about like a flail. As he approaches a group of boys playing in the street
he notices they have a large ball made out of a pigs bladder. They are
hitting it with sticks not unlike the one he carries. At either side of the
square they play is a wooden box with an empty front pointed toward the
center of the square. Each boy has tied to his upper arm a colored ribbon to
denote what team they play on. The young minotaur stands off the the side as
the boys square up with their sticks and attempt to get the ball into their
teams box. One of the boys notices the minotaur standing there watching them
and goes over to him. He asks him if he wants to play and the minotaur nods
his head and lifts up his stick to show them. The boy tells him that will
work fine and gives him a blue ribbon to tie to his arm. The game begins
anew and the minotaur joins in the fun, knocking boys over with his bulk and
scoring a goal. The other kids on the blue team pat him on the back, but the
boys in red look at him with anger from the ground. They shout insults at
him about his speech and his ugliness. The insult his mother and tell him to
say something back, then laugh at him when he does. The other boys from his
team tell them to stop and just to play the game. As they line up the ball
gets hit to the minotaur. All of the boys in red immediately come over and
start striking him with their sticks. The minotaur becomes enraged and
starts to toss his head about, goring two of the boys in the leg. They begin
to cry and one of the other boys runs for their mother. After calming down
the minotaur tries to apologize to the boys, but they just sneer at him and
call him more names. One of the mothers runs up to his boy screaming in
terror at the sight of the minotaur standing there with the blood of her son
dripping from his horn. He hangs his head and turns aside. The mother
quickly grabs her son and hugs him. She says soothing things to him all
the while making rude comments about the minotaur. This time the minotaur
does not become enraged but instead internalizes the pain, seeing the love he
can never have. He decides then and their he will make people love him,
wether they want to or not.

Jurzickus Blackhoof was born to a lowly prostitute in one of the many
brothels around Seantryn Modan. He was taken from his mother as a child by
his father, one of the fabled Minotaurs of the Imperial Guard. Jurzickus
grew up shunned by the regular people of Modan who looked upon him with a
distaste for his origins. His father brought him up to be proud of his
heritage, for only the strong survive the trials in life. The minotaur being
a race filled with great pride and strength. He was taught the way of many
weapons, and when old enough took the path of a Shaman. He decided that it
would be his duty to claim what was his among the humans roaming the lands.
He left Modan seeking power and the next woman to bear the great line of the
Blackhoof. What follows will be various accounts of his rise to power, and
the struggle to gain that which he wants.
