Description
Ahead of you stands a human dressed in dark silks and leather armors. Long
dark hair falls down covering his gaunt face in shadow. His skin is pale
and he covers most of it from the sun under a large tattered cloak. As the
a slight breeze moves back the folds of this covering, you see a collection
of knives and daggers, ropes and pulleys, and other assorted tools he keeps
about his waist. His frame is lithe, with long arms which he keeps tucked
within the confines of his dark covering. His boots are covered in the dust
of many days travel. As he notices your attention, he begins to smile, a bit
too much, his large mouth filled with teeth stained and broken, and a large
golden tooth.
Role
Jisko Jones, traveling merchant
Added Tue Nov 24 18:02:27 2020 at level 51:
Jisko Jones was born in Galadon to a poor family. He learned his craft traveling the lands
and picking up skills along the way. He was born with a burning business nature that drives
actions. He can usually be found alone gathering merchandise to sell to any of the lands. He
can get along with anyone but has a distrust of the outlanders. He can't understand a life
without the clink of gold as he runs his finger through it. He is a pascifist by nature, but
will defend himself and his business if he must. A loner naturally, he puts on a show
of a large smile and a grand tales of the merchandise he sells. He may take over one of the
many towns to serve as leadership for the thieves, but it's not important to him.
A life of hard work

Jisko has grown much in his years and established a name for himself as a merchant of
high quality and rare merchandise. He has made friends with many, from the depths
of the Chasm, to the highest tower in the Fortress. Along the way others have tried to
muscle in on him. Muhnt was the first to attack Jisko, dreaded orcen. He attacked and was
dispatched with a stab, slinking away cursing he threatened Jisko further. The second
assassin was the Commander of Battle Graevnik. He had threatened Jisko since his birth.
He demanded gold for the travel I enjoyed with a party of mage. I advised him that I was not
that kind of thief, that he had me all wrong. I would not be pushed around by him. Still
he came, as my party assaulted the dwarves of Mortorn, he came. Upon seeing his charge
I had a moment to react, setting the trap that would spell his doom. After a terrible battle
He succumbed to the fires which I enjoyed. As he writhed in flames, he never came back looking
for my gold. Later he succumbed to his war with the mages. The third murder was in assistance
to the preservation of commerce. The outlanders were attacking Galadon, causing fires and
destroying local business. I saw the Tribunal were outnumbered and with great difficulty
were slowly losing the battle which threatened their Captain of the guard. I watched and
advised the officers I would end this ruckus. Seeing the savages were leaving from the south
gate, I set my devices just south. To the Sunwarden's surprise, he had no idea he was to die
wasting away under the sea of despair. The raid of the Spire was ended with quick and tactical
superiority. When told he was deserving of a reward, Jisko declined. He will not stand
for interruptions in business.
Accidental Criminal
Added Thu Nov 26 16:07:41 2020 at level 51:
Jisko normally does not break any laws that he will ever get caught at. He says it's bad
for business. While searching the palace of Seantryn Modan, he decided to use his talents
to dispose of the Lord of Seantryn. Unaware that it was a crime to set a trap within the
Palace of Seantryn. Receiving the warrant, he spoke with Alisani, a trusted ally. He walked
into the city of Galadon, holding no weapons, his gold stashed elsewhere. His warrant and
criminal activity was over, at a steep cost. He did learn something new.
Shut em down. Open up shop.

Jisko has spent his life amassing a large fortune. He has worked tirelessly to build a
reputation as an exceptional merchant in the lands. Building ties with all the factions
within Thera, he makes hidden deals and sells his wares in the Market Square of Galadon.
He has grown strong and well equipped. For may years now he has traveled the lands, not
belonging anywhere. He has set his sights on a place to build his empire. The old familiar
streets of Galadon, the place he was born. He quickly made a large donation to the local
thieves guild. Calling the vote, he waits for opposition from the current Kingpin. He
will either fall in under Jisko's lead, or will be dealt with and run out of business.
The gold has changed Jisko. His greed for more has driven him with paranoia and he is
getting more distrustful of others. His competition have been coming out of the woodwork.
Thieves from other cities, thieves deep in the wood, he watches and plans his defenses.
Assassins from the wild people slink about the outskirts. He will defend his city from
any invaders.
Jisko was saddened by the loss of his friend Cedany of the Heralds. He will begin to
frequent the Inn more often. Trying to help out with the void left in her passing. He
has thoughts of possibly joining the Heralds. Wishing to continue the adventures and
merriment his friend had shown him, and make lots of gold and treasure along the way.
His eyes light up at the amount of profit he can make and free labor he can take
advantage of. He rubs his hands together in greedy anticipation.
The Path of Avarice
Added Sun Dec 20 18:05:19 2020 at level 51:
Jisko listens to the bustle of the marketplace. Smiles, scowls, tears, he's seen it all today. It's been
a good day for trade. He feels alive. His business has grown beyond his dreams. His search for the fame
and recognition of the lands has come to fruition. His hair is now grey and his posture bent, the life of
a merchant has taken it's toll on his body. Though long days and nights of work have assured his strength
and quickness have not faultered. He must not slack now. He is driven to continue to build his empire.
Jisko has rubbed elbows with kings and beggars. Dined with powers beyond mortal understanding. He has seen
places and things most would not believe. Without rest he traveled the lands alone, bringing his wares to any
and all. Without thought of the destruction and bloodshed he has fueled within the lands. This is no concern
of him.
He feels empowered walking the back alleys and passing the stalls of the city's merchants. He is somehow
becoming what he loves. A potion of return purchased at the wizards laboratory, he feels it. A pie enjoyed
in the local bakery, he hears the coins as they fall upon the counter in his head. The quick slash of the
blade in a deal gone wrong. The blood falling to the cobblestones. The bargainings being made around him spin,
and the cacophany of voices mix to a garble of dialects and shouts.
He hears everything clearly. He feels the world spin and breathes in deeply the scent of gold.
