Description

Long chestnut brown hair brushes the top of this half human, half elf's large knotted shoulders. Those ball-like shoulders are the pivot points for two arms that might as well be dwarven smithing hamers. The shoulders are connected to a muscular torso that is quite obviously the root of this warrior's devastating power. As threatening as his powerful physique may seem, his glowing green eyes are confident yet also warm and inviting. His face sports a larger nose that downplays what would be an attractive face. His demeanor and stance hint at a hidden agility and scream of confidence.

Role

A different path

Added Fri Jun 8 13:18:20 2007 at level 15:
Jun has the look of a half-elf, however, the truth of the matter is that he is three-quarters elf. His mother was a full blooded elf
and his father was a half elf, half human. The peculiar thing about it is that in his father the elven traits were dominant
very easily pass as a full blooded elf, and was often mistaken as such. What makes it peculiar is that even though Jun has less of the
human blood in him than his father, the human traits are more prevalent.

Jun's father was a very skilled bounty. He had a talent for hunting and tracking bounties across the lands from cities to wooded forests.
Jun's father was obviously very law abiding, and in the youth of Jun there were several things he had seen through his fathers dealings
with the law that made him stray from the path of his father. The first is that Jun is more of a consequentialist when it comes to his
life choices, where his father was more of a formalist. Jun's father followed the law to the letter, it didn't matter the story behind
the crime, if you broke the law then you were a criminal and must be punished. Jun strayed from this line of thought when he saw a paladin
punished as a murderer because he came to the aid of a defenseless elven woman being accosted by some orcs in a city protected by the law.
Jun had many heated debates with his father about the punishment (Jun's father didn't take the paladin to justice) and his father would
firmly state that he had broken the law. Jun disagreed and argued that the man was fighting for his beliefs and was acting for the better
of the city. The paladin was a good and just man being punished. This debate and instance led Jun to have a cynical view about the law.
This cynical view of the law

It was also in having witnessed his fathers dealings that Jun formed the foundation of his current beliefs, which is to spend his life
in the righteous cause of fighting magic. Jun's father often was hired to hunt particular criminals down by an elven wizard. Now typically
the bounties are offered by the cities, however, this mage paid a little extra for his father to focus on catching particular criminals.
The wizard had no real interest in the causes of justice. He picked his criminals specifically because they usually possessed items of
a magical nature, and he wished to have them. It discussed Jun that the desire for power from this unworldly force tainted this elf's good
soul to the point that he would use the law as a mechanism for murder. The greed and lust for power caused by magic could errode good and
bad alike. Disgusting, Jun thought to be a slave to such a thing. However, it wasn't until an incident that involved his mother did Jun
develop a full fledged hatred for magic.

Jun's mother became very ill with a serious disease when he was at the age of becoming a man. The local healer, who was completely
inexperienced in such diseases, was unable to help her. Jun's mother began to fear for her life, and being an elf she had been raised
with the influence of much magic. Instead of seeking a wiser healer who could have healed her of this disease she sought out a magical
potion at the advice of a wizard. So blindly did she believe this wizard that she helped him find the resources and prepare the potion
without a seconds hesitation. Jun urged her to see a healer

A villager begins

Added Wed Jun 13 19:11:02 2007 at level 33:
Jun has now joined the village of the Battleragers. He has chosen the path of the defender and has found that he has made a good choice.
A reason for this is that he finds joy in being able to assist the other villagers. It is the kindness in him that stems from his goodly
nature that is the reason for this. He is beginning to take a great interest in the helpful arts of the defender, especially the healing
ones. Jun has also began to admire his father's ability to hunt criminals even more since his time with the village. He wishes he would
have learned more about hunting across the lands from his father, but, has decided to learn what he can from the other villagers.
Magi seem to find places off the beaten track, and Jun has an interest in learning these places well so that he may be a more effective
hunter. He will have to inquire the elder villagers to find out what hunting tactics and paths they take and see if he can't learn from
the best of them and become an effective hunter himself. This desire to hunt better has also reaffirmed Jun's choice as a defender. He
sees the value in the skills that the defender possesses as being more self sustaining. A quality that will help greatly of one who
roams the lands looking for magi when places of safety can be sparse.
