Description
Locks of curly, ash brown hair tumble down the poised head of a
young, human female. Sharp, autumn green eyes pierce through
the haze of hair, displaying a soft, gentle peaceful nature in them.
The woman's skin, tan and more rough than a typical human
female, coupled with her lithe, athletic toned body gives hints as
to her profession. Her youthful nature also tells a short story of
how limited her experiences in the world are. A soft gasp seems
to linger upon her moist lips, as a longing could almost be sensed
from them.

Kasmira's stretched a hand out as to grasp the fleeing Jotham.
"No, don't go Jotham! Stay, I beg of you! The wounds are
nothing." But she was too late. The mighty lion had disappeared
into the wood, leaving her but with marks upon her body.
Small tears welled up inside her, but she recovered. She was a
ranger after all, and Jotham could not escape her long. His path
would be easy to follow. She smiled. "I'll just have to find a way to
convince him." Her hands caressed over her body, touching the
wounds, relishing them in an odd manner.
Snap! A crack from the brush rang through the wood. The ranger
maiden, turned, smiling with a youthful hope, "Jotham! You
return. See my Lion, there is..." her words stopped as five men, all
of differing race, but bandits or poachers none the less emerged
from trees.
Wicked sneers and devious grins crossed their dirty faces as their
hungry looks fell upon Kasmira. One of the men stepped forward,
tall and well built for a human, his voice rough, carrying a twang as
it echoed "Mmm, little lady, me and the boys couldn't help but
over hear how a beast...attacked you. Your cries resonated
through the forest, and we rushed to rescue you."
Laughter echoed among the group, "But how surprised we were
when we happened upon the scene." the man moved closer to
her. Worried Kasmira began to step back, but she was to late, the
other men had slipped around her.
"Get away from me!" she urged, trying to find a way to escape,
cornered like prey to a pack of wolves. She darted to one side but
to no avail. The strong hands of the men grabbed her pulling her
to the ground, pinning her. She screamed "Get off me!"
"Shhh," whispered the tall man, "No need for that, miss. Me and
the boys just wanna have a little fun with you." Again laughter
echoed as he produced a knife from his side. Cold steel teased
her skin as the blade traced along her body. Snip. Snip. Bindings
on her armor and clothing were cut away.
"JOTHAM!!" she cried out as she struggled and kicked. SLAM! Her
head was bashed against the forest floor by one of her assailants.
Her thoughts wavered, leaving her disoriented.
"I'm going to be first!" one of the men claimed. Kasmira could feel
her legs being spread apart, while hands gripped her tighter,
holding her down. Her consciousness began to fade, an escape
she begged for from the approaching horror.
TWANG! A guttural yelp echoed above her moments before a
heavy body fell upon her. Hot breath was the last she remembered
as the darkness came upon her.
Thank You

The soft, warm rays of the sun stirred Kasmira awake. Soft chirping
of morning birds echoed around her as gentle winds billowed
through the tree tops. The scene was serene, giving peace to a
troubled heart. Troubled heart. The thought rushed to her like
lightning as the memories of what just happened flood her mind.
"Jotham.." she whispered, tears welling up in her autumn green
eyes. But where was she? The wood still a quick glance around
her would indicate. But how did she end up here, and the
poachers. Her hands examined her body quickly, checking to see
if she was ok. Her wounds were gone, and her attire replaced with
a white sun dress.
"Who?" slipped through her lips, lingering for a moment before
becoming an echo. No sign of who or what saved her, healed her.
But she was at peace, both in spirit and mind. Her mouth felt
parched and in response, the sound of a small current of water, a
brooke answered her.
She drank happily from the cool water, and when she was done,
she lay back against a large rock. Kasmira's gaze turned and fell
upon her equipment lying not far from her, pristine and repaired.
She looked around searching for whoever did this, but still only
nature made a sound.
She changed into her own garb as though being led to do so.
Absentmindedly, she walked to the edge of the grove, but her will
allowed her to pause. She looked back over her shoulder, still
nothing there. She whispered as she stepped into the wood,
"Thank you."
