The sound of beads and metal clamoring, herald in the small figure of
Kathsael. A woman whose daunting presence is matched by a physique chiseled
by a God itself. Sunkissed skin stretches across a weathered and sinewy
build. The pride that she carries is exuded in the way she carries herself.
Armament pristine. Craftsmanship unmatched. Heavy metal bands, weathered by
usage and time frame fist- that could pass for boulders. Hair the color of
burnt sienna is pulled into a warrior's plait; beads and metal interwoven in
every spool of rust colored wool. Her features are beautiful in nature,
symmetrical in frame, and anomalous enough to leave a lasting image in your
brain. Eyes like chipped amber peek beneath untamed eyebrows, surveying the
area with fervor and unease. Much of her skin is exposed save for vital
points, revealing to all healed scars; that she bears proudly. Upon further

Role
A Warrior's Heart.

Fight with courage in your heart and conviction tempering your soul. These
were the words Kathsaels ancestors had passed on to her; and with them she
had forged a mantra to traverse the hardships of life. While new to the
challenges as a sole adventurer, she was not new to the challenges of War.
She hailed from a proud people, who had long protected Akan from neighboring
orcs- who often grew restless in their perpetual pursuit of carnage. From her
elders she learned that true pride and strength came to those, who chose to
put it all on the line for others. For love, conviction, and courage for thy
neighbor- was a source of power that never ran dry.
Demoralization of darkness through unfiltered courage.

Kathsael had found her calling steeped in her internal fire of conviction.
She never shied from the prospect of War recognizing that she could assist in
the eradication and evil; thus presenting a generation with peace unlike the
cost of War she had come to experience. It was this realization that led her
to the guild of shamans. A space that found strength in the communion with
the righteous. It was within their embrace that she happened upon the
whispers of the Spirit Jaguar. A courageous warrior spirit who served the
light both in life and the afterlife- it was here that she hoped both the
guidance of the Spirit Jaguar and temper her freshly forged mission to join
the frontlines of this War- so that one day a generation of the Light would
only know peace.
Fighting for tomorrow.

Kathsael beamed with pride, but also in the pit of her stomach recognized.
Becoming a Squire attached to the Holy Brigade- meant responsibility unlike
any other would be placed upon her shoulders. The proximity to many with the
same vision but different paths to acquiring it, opened up her view of Thera,
the War against the wicked, and most importantly how she identified in the
world. Kathsael was always proud, her lineage of dwarven watchmen before her-
made her profess that she too would protect those she loved. However she now
came to recognize it was different to say these things and another to walk in
them.
She almost shuddered at the thought that she was willing to put everything on
the line to fight for a better tomorrow for those to come after her. Not
realizing that within the present she had the most opportunity for change.
The kids of today deserved her protection, courage, and most importantly
love. She reminded herself of this as she ventured forth in the lands- no
longer guided by fighting for tomorrow but rather fighting for today.
Virtues of the World.

Her Goddess: the Spirit Jaguar, challenged her with an important task. To
figure out which virtues of the world she drew inspiration from and which
virtues- despite not fitting her- drew credence in the pursuit of the Light.
Courage and Humanity spoke to her directly; they were guiding forces in her
life long before she had the verbiage and wisdom to know so. Courage
presented itself as bravery, conviction in beliefs, tenacity, and an
unwavering will. This was her source of true strength and only grew as she
did. Reflecting in her the ability to erode the confidence of even the most
domineering foe. Humanity was her anchor and inspiration- it was what
ultimately led her to fight for today opposed to tomorrow. She recognized
that through love, kindness, and sacrifice- she could preserve the good and
the light found in the present. And it was the very seeds she planted in real
time that would keep her from losing herself within the heat of War.
Distillation.

As the years progressed Kathsael found her body riddled with scars that she
wore boldly with honor. Her heart, overflowing with love and admiration for
those she called Brothers and Sisters.
And her spirit- a concentrated mass of righteous fury.
That could not be snuffed by neither the wicked nor darkness she came to know.
she came to know. Warming the forge and crafting weapons had been a hobby of
Kathsaels. Granting her the ability to beat out imperfections in weaponry,
and let her mind run wild as her body tinkered tools of War. However, in
recent years she has turned towards the trade of Distillation as yet another
hobby that could keep her present as the war continued to wage onward.
Distillation of alcohol as she knew it was the process of separating water
from alcohol making it purer and more potent. It served as an analogy for the
practice of augmenting her anger. Separating the malice. And creating what
she recognized to be holy fury. This holy fury was a fuel that could never be
snuffed. For it bloomed within the space where love and conviction met. On
days where feelings of hopelessness bore more weight than her armament, and
anguish placed a lump in her throat. She could allow this fury to work its
way through her body singing any negative outlooks that riddled her mind and
spirit. She was thankful- between her family in the Fortress and her Patron
Baerinika she was finally recognizing the many facets of what made her
fitting to answer the call of the Brigade.
