Description
You see before you a tall, slender maiden. She stands at six feet two
inches tall from head to toe. Her body is perfectly proportioned and
somewhat toned. Her burgundy hair is cut short and is tucked neatly
behind her pointy ears. There is a keen sense of awareness within
her large, charming sapphire eyes. She has a small, thin nose and a
soft, flesh colored lipstick covers her lips. Her skin has a pleasant
tan to it, though her left arm doesnt appear to be completely
tanned. You notice a horrible scar that starts near her elbow and
ends near her wrist.

Kelayna was abandoned right after being born. Her teachers at the
orphanage didnt want her to know why she was being abandoned,
but her mother insisted that when she was old enough that she
should know why. So right after she was born, her mother
dropped her off at the orphanage with a letter that explained why
she was being abandoned. It read as follows:
My dearest daughter,
This is so you will have a better life. A little over nine months
ago something bad happened to me. An evil human came into
my parents house while they were away, and he raped me.
Im leaving you here at this loving and wonderful place, so
you can grow up to have a life that I could never give you.
A good life, full of love and happiness. Here you would just
find resentment and bitternessfor only being half-elven.
I wish you all the best, and I will always be thinking of you.
One day after her most beloved class, Kelayna set out to pick some
flowers for her favorite teacher, Durilan, he taught healing. She
walked for hours in the woods, trying to find just the right flowers.
Soon, she realized that she was lost and that nightfall was
approaching. As she started looking around, she noticed that
things didnt seem rightthere was some movement somewhere
in the trees. Suddenly she was surrounded by a pack of wolves.
Fearing for her life, she tried to run away but one grabbed onto
her elbow. As she jerked her arm away one of his teeth stuck
into her flesh, ripping it all the way down to her wrist. Then
from out of nowhere a cloaked man appeared. He heroically
fought the wolves away and even killed a couple of them, but
was badly wounded in the process. She ran to the strangers
side and pulled the cloak away from his face. She sat there
shocked, it was Durilan. As she looked at his deadly wound,
there was nothing she could do to heal him. He whispered
these last words to her before taking his final breath,
"May Corrlaan watch over you always."
Days after Durilan died, Kelayna left the orphanage She
set out to find Corrlaan, She had been taught all she could
learn there, and wanted to learn more of healing. She
wanted to learn more so that next time she would be able
to save whoever would risk their life to save hers, and so
that she could risk her life to save and protect others,
like Durilan had done for her.

Kelayna has searched for many years, and hasnt found her mother or
father. With no luck thus far, she has decided to give up her search.
She found Corrlaan after much searching and become a priest of his.
As long as she has Corrlaan to guide her, she doesnt need a family.
Though she always wanted to have a last name like all the other kids.
Until now, she never had one. She decided that she would use the
name of the man she once loved, Durilan. The man that gave his
life so her life could be spared.
Kelayna met another follower of Corrlaans and they spoke about
her joining forces with the Fortress. Breallye showed her that they
believe in many of the same things that she does. So now that she
has met a many of the other members of the Fortress, Kelayna has
decided that she could perhaps find a home there someday.
