Description
Before you stands a young gnome mage with pale skin. Her hair is dark and
looks slightly unkept. She stands nearly three-feet tall, common among Her
kin, but still short compared to humans. Her eyes are a deep purple with a
reddish hue to the iris. Her clothes are pristine and adorned with gaudy
symbols, mostly arcane. The odd thing about Her clothes would be the grass
stains on them near Her hands and feet. Its obvious she spends much of Her
time romping about the wildlands of thera. Her purple eyes sparkle with
delight as animals and birds move about him. A peaceful look overcoming Her
features as she gazes upon the mountains and the open plains.

Klemle Nucklemuttin was always considered outside of the norm for gnomes.
Klemle was born to a small family near Arkham. Growing up he always spent
his time in the forests with the animals that lived there. He would go out
in the fields and hide in the tall grass from the mountain lions that roamed
the hill and mountainsides. Although he was fearful of their grand size and
ferocity, they also intrigued him. They were great hunters, always ready to
take on a herd of deer.He envied them their free spirits, and wished to be
like them. When he was young he heard of a guild of mages who could make
their bodies become like those of animals. Immediately he was intrigued and
when old enough, set out with a few coin and some dreams.
Of Gazelles and Lions!

Mother,
You wouldnt believe it if I told you, but Ive learned to run on hooves
like a gazelle, and to strike at thing with the fierce claws of the Lion! I
know! Its amazing, that is what you are thinking. Im beginning to shun
the cities as I find they are full of "spiritless" people. I will be doing
my best to live among the creatures of our lands, I have a supply of food,
and Im sure I can find more as I move about the lands. I will live in a
cave for now, or under the branches of a nice tree until I find a more
suitable home. The cities are full of greed and deceit, you were right, I
didnt like it there. Ill write more as I learn more! I promise!
Your son,
Klemle
It seems the hooves of the gazelle weren't all, after all!

Father,
It has been too long since Ive written, I know that. Things have been
interesting. Last I wrote I told you I had learned to transform parts of my
body. Well, Ive learned to alter my whole self! I first learned to become
a coyote, and I howled and howled. It was very fun! Then I learned to be a
giant toad, this was great, cause now I can swim around the lands looking at
things and not have to come up for air. Its way better than holding my
breath for a minute underwater! The thing Ive learned most recently is to
run, like the wind some would say. The ancients of this land have blessed me
with knowledge of the Gazelle. Its amazing how far I can run, and how free
I feel doing it! Ive also tasted the first blood of the hunt, as I slayed
the necromancer Ashaleila. It was a fun romp through the battlefield, and
that will only be the beginning. Ill write more later. I promise!

Grapes of Wrath

Mother,
You will never believe what happen. As you know, Ive come to despise the
cities and so have had to find food all over the place. Well, I came across
some grapes in a forest, and thought nothing of it, but then I ate them.
They transformed me mom! Not into an animal, like I love, but into a female
gnome. Ive almost gotten in fights over people talking to me like a woman,
but then I look at myself and realize, Ive changed. Please dont tell dad,
I gotta find a cure.
Your daughter,
Klemle

Mother,
Im sorry it has been so long since Ive written. I am also sorry that I did
not come to fathers funeral, but not because I didnt show, but for your
spirit that was hurt. I am thankful that the letter bearers were able to
figure out where to find me, and that you let me know. I rest in the fact
that his body joins with the lands and will aide the return of Thar-Eris.
You must understand that his refusal to be buried out in the wilds, but
rather in the city of our kin enraged me. He has known my heart and my path
for sometime. It is my hope that you will remain out of that city as much as
possible. If you require food I will bring it, if you wish to learn how to
survive, I will aide you. There are many of the refuge as well who would
love to help you Im sure. The cities of this land are not meant for us,
nor anyone really. You must understand that I would rather bring temporary
pain to you, than long-term pain to Thar-Eris by coming to that town for
anything but vengeance.
I know you are sitting there thinking, what happened to my little boy. Well,
we both know Ive changed in many ways, but I will no longer live a civilized
life. The people of these lands need to see the freedom of my spirit. It
will be shown to them, and they will embrace it, or be made to understand it.
love you, but I am no longer that little boy. Heck, Im not even a boy
anymore! Damn those berries! Anyway, I thought you would want to know that
Ive reached what many would call the pinnacle of my learning. Through all of
this I have learned even more from the things I knew when younger. I can now
transform myself into a cobra and a lion. Ive found that even poison cant
harm me when I have taken on the cobras ability. I have also found that I
can do a lot of harm to others as the lion. It is grand fun raking my claws
across those who would harm these lands.
May the Thar-Eris come and make us all complete,
Klemle
