Description
Here hovers a waxen, palid giant. There is no way to hide
such a doughy hue. His skin is so white, it almost scintillates.
This porcelain hide is far from delicate however. It is easy
to ascertain that this body has endured the tests of time
and battle alike. His skin looks leathery to the touch, and
is riddled with scars, ancient, and fresh. His face is pleasant.
Perhaps the only redeeming quality of this otherwise pock-marked
giant. He has short white hair, and a well trimmed, yet full
beard of the same color. These achromatic hairs frame in a
face with high cheekbones, thin lips, and snowy, colorless
eyes. He stands about eleven feet tall, and is more lean and
tone than he is muscular.
Role
An Unexpected Gift

A servant rushed into Baron Telenius' chambers and exclaimed,
"Baron, your presence is required outside of the Keep."
"I will be right down," replied the Baron, assuming the usual gift
from the Mayor of Galadon. As the Baron exited the keep, a guard
awaited him with something wrapped in a white pelt.
"We found this on the outskirts this morning," the guard informed
the Baron. "It appears to be an infant..."
"Cloud giant," interupted the Baron before even seeing a glimpse of
the child. "Only Clouds know the location of the Great White bear.
give me the child." The Baron pulled back the fur, revealing a
child with skin and hair as white as the hide, obviously a cloud
of pure descent.
"Shall we take him north to a cloud encampment, or throw him to
the wolves?" asked the guard.
"Neither," replied the Baron. "They have brought him here for a
reason. Tir Tilath will not turn its back on this child." The Baron
handed the child to his servant and ordered, "Take the Cloud, and
find care for him. It is time we introduce Cloud giants completely
into civilization."
Lessons

Klendalstak was the name this cloud giant orphan would come to be
called. The Baron took it upon himself to name the child, for
he had once known a noble cloud that served the Baron's Militiamen
when he himself was a soldier. He wished the child a common Cloud
name. After all, he was bridging a gap. For all the Baron knew,
the cloud giant could have been left there in desperation durring
murderous clan battles. But he would demand the giant taught
otherwise. The giant was taught that he was sent to help his
people make their way into common society. Even more vigorously
though, he was schooled in the ways of civilization. Leanred
in the Book of Law. And wise to the threats to civilization.
Klendalstak was eager to learn, and embraced the ideals.

"Welcome Klendalstak. It has been quite some time since you visitied
Tir Tilath," Baron Telenius greeted the cloud giant.
"Yes. I have been tending to my duty with all of my time."
"Good then," replied the Baron. "And I hope you have taught those
terroristic woodsmen a thing or two as well."
"Of course," grinned the cloud.
"Word reached us recently of the passing of the great K-rin," stated
the Baron. "Were you ever graced with his presence?"
"I was not," the giant replied softly.
"Most unfortunate Klendstak. Keep the fiery K-rin's spirit and values
close. And I would suggest you seek his Archon. He is the last
remaining soul to be blessed by the K-rin. Learn from him, and stay
true to the Fiery Fallen One."
"I will Baron," the giant replied as he bowed and headed back to Galadon.
