Description
A huge, dark figure stands before you, engulfed in weird, ghostly flames.
Dark and bright at the same time, those flames hides his figure like
living shadows, though not completely. Through that illusion you manage
to see his face, his blood-red eyes, burning with the infernal fire; his
long hair of the gold color; his mouth, full of teeth. His teeth requires
a special mention because each of it looks like a fang. Tt seems that
they were artificially sharpened. You notice many milky-white tattoos on
his arms, neck and even cheeks. Each tattoo is a small, milky-white skull.
Shadowy flames can't hide his massive, well-trained body, more fitting to
a warrior. But there is no doubt: you see a demonic warrior-priest, a
powerful shaman, communer of curses, bringer of plagues.

Demon within
Added Fri Mar 4 15:33:41 2016 at level 16:
He was walking through the forest when he saw a wounded shaman. "Ha!
Human! An easy kill!" he thought and began to sneak to his prey. Boom!
Boom! Boom! Sneaking giant is a quite a show. Man looked at him and
sighed.
"Wait", he said. "Demon... Don't kill me... I may be of the use to you...
I may know how to remove your curse!"
"Whud ye talking 'boud?", said Koh. "Koh no fargen demun be!"
"Ah... so you don't know. Help me get to the Tree, and I'll show you what
you are..."
Puzzled and intrigued, at the same time Koh felt that the wounded human
wasn't lying. Or, at least, he believed in his own words. So Koh grabbed
the man and hoisted him on the shoulders. Accompanied by the moans and
groans, he began his walk toward the Tree.
Much later, they met many other people of the wilds. Tanzer, their elder,
was also there. He welcomed Koh to their commune, where Koh spent a few
days, waiting for the shaman to get better.
Then there a ritual took a place. Koh was standing in the center of the
stone circle, and outlanders were around, chanting and yelling, with
shaman leading the process. Koh ate some meat of power, then drank some
water of revelation, then ate some mushrooms of magic, then he smoked a
pipe of spirits, then... then there were no Koh anymore. Instead, a
demonic creature was standing in the mid of chaotic trance, growling and
howling, trying to break the circle. The horrible personification of
destruction, he was bound by the etherial barrier of the runes and
circles, drawn on the ground. Then, everything suddenly finished, and Koh
was lying down, blackened out.
It is when he learned that his father wasn't just a king of the mountain,
and he - not just a usual fire giant, but a creature possessing darkest
powers one can imagine.
"You have to control that", said Tanzer then. "But by yourself, you'll
fail. Let me guide you to the lord Jormyr, who only can help you to turn
this curse for your good". And this is when his search for the mighty God
Jormyr began.
Control
Added Wed Mar 9 15:37:14 2016 at level 25:
For years, Koh was trying to reach the divine being known as Jormyr. And
with a time, his curse was growing stornger and stronger, slowly changing
his body and spirit. He began to hear voices, to see and feel energies;
he began to shift into the realm of spirits. He even could call to that
spiritual power and use it at whim. His plans to become a famous warrior
were ruined by the merciless fate.
Now, he was spending most of his time by sitting in the ice cavern,
praying, praying, and praying. Sometimes, he was walking away for a hunt,
or to meet outlanders. A long while ago they have recognized him as a
likeminded one and welcomed him to the Refuge. There, Koh found a great
ancient Spirit, who shared a bit of its power to the young ex-warrior.
This spiritual strength gave Koh some time to resist and control his
demonic part of himself. Furthermore, outlander shaman that he once saved
taught him how to use and control it's power in the way shamans do and
initiated Koh into shamans egregor.
Meditations in the ice cavern also helped a lot. Sitting there, in cold,
Koh could keep his burning demonic blood frozen enough to stay calm and
slumbering. Finally, he met the divine being he was looking for and was
rewarded with a smirk - and some bit of it's untamed, feral strength
entered his soul, empowering Koh. Now, he could fight the curse more or
less successfully, not letting it to overwhelm him.
But he felt that it's not a victory, but just a little win in a long,
long inner war that he is fated to wage.
The Plan
Added Fri Mar 18 03:19:21 2016 at level 38:
Time was passing. Koh, since blessed by his deity, Jormyr, was training
as a warpriest, and his power grew like a mushroom after the rain. But
not only his strength grew. with him, his inner enemy, the demon
imprisoned within his body, was growing stronger too. Everytime Koh had
to deal with him, controlling him, preventing from possessing his body
and mind. But despite his efforts, sometimes he couldn't stand the
strength of his neighbour, and then he managed to speak. Demon
threatened, begged, tried to bribe Koh and those who were near that time.
Sometimes he declared weird prophecies and omens.
Koh understood that he may win those small battles, but in this war,
he'll lose. He had to find a way, a solution of how to defeat his biggest
enemy. He talked to many wise elders of the Refuge, and one said this:
"To defeat an enemy, your must understand your enemy. The best way to
understand your enemy is to think like your enemy. To think like your
enemy, you must become your enemy. But there is a risk that you,
obviously, understand".
But what other choice Koh had? And he decided to take the risk because he
would lose nothing - he was already on the way to the defeat. This was
only his chance, and with it, he continued his search for his deity, the
untamed Lord Jormyr.
