Description

A human of strange proportions stands in front of you. His frame is wirey and very thin. His flesh is sodden and whitish as if soaked in water and had little time to dry out. The edges of his skin, actually the first layer of it, is translucent and see through. Tiny veins are visible in the upper most fleshy layer. This layer is also thicker than normal, giving this human an almost ghostly appearance. He moves with a fluidity that borders on abnormal. His movements remind you of a snake flowing through its wild home, leaving barely a trace behind. His eyes are wide, and when he blinks, you notice a strange, second film over them. Just another item to add to the strangeness of this human. His skull also holds the same otherworthly look, as the flesh on his face is also translucent, causing his skull to be observable through he flesh itself. He almost looks undead, but then you are reminded he is not by the tiny blood vessels pumping blood through that fleshy layer.

Role

Dreams of a Child

Added Wed Apr 4 15:05:08 2018 at level 32:
"Daddy" says Kooxmow, "Tell me the story again about the kraken!".

This was a common occurance in the household that Kooxmow grew up
in. He was always so interested in stories of giant beasts, but
specifically great magical giant beasts. Creatures of ill-repute
and of sheer magical nature and outlandishly powerful. The stories
he was told by his mother and father always involved a hero hunting
down these great magical beasts, slaying them, and showing once
and for all, magic creatures were no match for the hero.

Sometimes the magical beast in the story was a scary, evil mummy.
Sometimes they were great shapeshifter beasts that seemed all powerful
but somehow someone took them down. Others were anti-paladins so
filled with souls that their mere touch slew many, but yet somehow
the hero took them down.

Kooxmow was always a physically weak human. He was bullied in the
guilds and so he was a loner. These stories spoke to him in a way
where he wished so hard to be them, the hero. He wanted to be liked
and to be the subject of great stories and songs. He wanted to be
the one to slay terrible magical beasts.

This overwhelming desire manifested itself into an overblown
reality for Kooxmow. When he joined the ranger guild (since no
other guild would take him since he was such an introvert), the
isolation of the profession caused his ideas of grandeur to
enhance. Add on top of that only the mariner part of the guild
would take him, he spent endless hours on the waters, alone,
dreaming of his greatness. He was weaving his greatness into
his reality, and soon it solidified to be the truth.

Desire and Want becomes Vanity

Added Wed Apr 4 15:05:28 2018 at level 32:
Over time, as Kooxmow grew up, all the time spent alone and
with his head full of these great stories, he made himself out
to be the greatest hunter of magical beasts. He stepped right
into the stories as the hero, and ventured out already believing
that is what he was. This Vanity led him to the Battlerager
village. He sought to be the greatest villager, the greatest
hunter, and the greatest mage slayer and magical beast slayer
of all time. This was the perfect place for him, and this is
where he sought to end up.

Kooxmow's Vanity and Morius

Added Wed Apr 4 15:06:47 2018 at level 32:
His world revolves around Vanity and self absorbtion. But that
does not mean what he is doing is not true. Kooxmow's hunting
skills have been honed by his overwhelming opinion of himself
which has fed his desire to be the best possible. This has caused
him to actually be quite the hunter. Kooxmow firmly believes
in his skills and his purpose. Every conversation with Kooxmow
revolves around his greatness, his purpose, and how the last
thing he did was even more amazing as the last. And that all
of his actions support his story of greatness and proves him
to be a hero of storybook proportions.

Kooxmow's Vanity is so great that he does not even humble himself
to seek Morius in the ways other would. To go there and to pray.
Why pray when you are the greatest? If you are the greatest then
those would wish to be part of your story would come to you. In
addition, Kooxmow has NO IDEA he is actually extremely vane.
In fact, he is just the greatest, period. So the idea of praying
to a divine being about being vane does not even cross his mind.

Now does this mean he would not welcome involvement from the
Vice Lord Morius? No. He would greatly appreciate it and would
fit who he is. But, to seek it is to admit his vanity and he is
so vane and so sure of his hero ways, its simply the truth.

While Kooxmow may also embody other Sins of the Vice Lord, they
are all committed as part of his own story. There really is not
anyone else but him in it.
