Description
From a towering 11 feet, this giant looks down upon the world. His
blackened skin is reminiscent of a chilled lava flow, smooth and
blackened. His hair is layer upon layer of braids, each one banded
together by a single thong. A beard of brilliant orange grows under his
jaw line, while his face grows none. The beard separates into seven
massive braids, each held fast by three wound leather bands. Dark eyes
are illuminated by orange eyelashes and those stark contrasting eyebrows
amplify his stern expressions. Those eyes steadily gaze to the horizon,
scanning and watching. The occasional shiver and cold sweat drips down
the forehead, showing evident issues of acclimatization.
There is no semblance or pattern to the materials used to cover this
giant, be it bone, skin, metal, or scale it appears that they are lashed
together as needed to cover the large frame. The armors around his
massive limbs would fare well as tower shields for a svirfnebli, or
dwarf. Monstrous weapons that would not be wieldable by lesser creatures
appear normal sized in his massive hands.
A brute of legend, this fire giant gives one pause and you can see
that...

Society never accepted Krahlzin because of how violent he was. In his
youth, he constantly fought with others, beating them until they were
bloody and bruised. He enjoyed the act of breaking other kids spirits.
More often than not, the adult giants exacted similar brutality as
punishment, while it hurt him and often left him in tears, it only
spurned his development to deal with things with violence. As an
adolescent, his need to fight grew more destructive as he broke bones and
dislocated shoulders, knees, and elbows. The crunch of bone and joints
coupled with the cries of pain excited him immensely. He never cares who
he hurt.
Elders, in attempt to give purpose and focus to Krahzins fury, pushed
him into a warriors guild. To their regret, this only made him a
capable killer. His weapon of choice was the axe. Its destructive
purpose matched his brutal nature because he could wield it with brute
strength and cut lesser creatures in half, spewing entrails and blood
everywhere. Another weapon he favored was the spear because of how easy
it was to use his strength to drive it into his opponent. After he
brutal killed a member of the training hall with a massive wooden
training axe, they realized that he would never be controlled, he was a
savage beast. Krahlzin didnt want to be tamed, didnt want to be
controlled. He wanted to fight and destroy things. It was after that
they pushed him out their society, fighting him in attempts to scare him
off. Krahlzin broke a few arms and smashed some faces in when he left,
but stopped only because he grew bored of it. He didnt want to stay
there anyway, so he left to find a place where his lifestyle was
accepted.

It wasnt until a time later that he realized that he will never be
accepted into any civilized society in any location. He fought
everywhere, succumbed to the brutality of the Tribunal law, and continued
on. It was while deep in the swamps of Ysigrath that he first heard of a
collection of killers and anarchists known as the Reavers. He heard that
they create chaos and destruction, setting fires to towns and villages
among other things. He found that some of them were doing these things
for a higher goal. To return the world to its baser natures. Kill or be
killed. Survival of the fittest. This is a world where he belonged,
where he would thrive. His strength would make him Lord of the wilds!
His power would be the one rule in which he had to follow. As long as
that was his to command he would be unstoppable.
In his mind, Jormyr looks down upon Krahlzin and is pleased. Krahlzins
pleasure in destruction will bring about a world where bloodshed and
fighting happen everywhere. Nothing will be calm and everything will be
in turmoil. Krahlzin believes that this is what Jormry wants and if he
helps bring it about, he will be rewarded with more strength and power.
He will be Lord of the Wilds
No Internal Monologue explanation / Last name
Added Sat Jul 8 18:02:43 2017 at level 23:
Much like all fire giants underestimate the need for secrecy, Krahlzin
even more so is completely overt, He has no internal monologues and he
says many things outloud that would normally be considered private or
confidential. Because he believes the world will be ruled by those with
the greatest strength he doesn't even care that people hear him.
He stole the name of Rah from the famously powerful fire giants and
combined it with Vlad, his original surname, to it to make it more
powerful. Thus increasing his own power and persona by making his name
greater than what it was.
