Description

The creature had a long, sleek body covered in dark green scales, but what stood out were the bright yellow streaks along its back, almost glowing in the dim light. This saurian is quite a bit longer in the tail than most saurian. It also has noticeably larger feet that are webbed from talon to toe. Its skull is elongated and narrow, with sharp, angular features that give it a serpentine look. Extremely large eyes position themselves on either side of the head, and glimmer with reflective obsidian black sheen. Its mouth is lined with small, but seemingly very sharp teeth. You notice two larger and extended fangs which are unusual for a saurian. They shine with a sheen of unknown covering. Its large jaw has a subtle underbite coupled with a chin of folds of skin and two noticeable bulges at the base of each jaw hinge. Two large nostrils sit atop the end of the snout. A small covering flaps across as it breathes, sealing it and unsealing it.

Role

The Poisonings of Thar-Eris

Kraittosus was born into a clutch of saurians living on the edge of
society, if one can consider saurian life a society that is civilized.
This groupings of saurians are specifically dark and live in the edges
and in the deepest parts of the watery wilds. This cult of saurians embrace water
and seek a more serpentine form and thus cultivate those features
within their society. Through time and ages, this has produced
saurians that embrace Wah in all ways and have produced features
aligning with the massive water snakes and boa constrictors deep
within the dark waters of Thar-Eris. 

Kraittosus is one such born to that pathway. He is young, curious, but
also quite vicious and dark. He holds an infatuation with poisons of
Thar-Eris. What creates them, what are the affects, how do they
get deployed into the flesh of the victim. So many questions, and
through experimentation, even young, answers. Horrible answers.

These saurians are of the Wah, but even their own society had limits
on what should be done, especially to their own. Kraittosus did not
see such, only saw hunted and hunter, like a snake in the waters that
lashes out when a victim is near and that victim simply dies for being
in the wrong place at the wrong time. 

As many saurians of their clutch became ill, most surviving but
struggling through the poisonings of so many various watery creatures.
Even Kraittosus suffered greatly, also being poisoned many times.
What the rest of the saurians didn't know, is that Kraittosus was
also poisoning himself, wanting to feel the affects of the decay
and what happened. For most of Kraittosus's formative years, this
continued, poisonings, sicknesses, and recovery. Kraittosus watched
and learned, and even delighted in both the pain it wracked on the
ones he poisoned, as well as the pain and delight it brought
upon himself. 

Only through a moment of sheer luck, when one of the fishermen found
Kraittosus's secret store of many bottles and stashes of poisons 
that the truth came out. Many of the clutch came to confront
Kraittosus, but he sensed that he had been discovered and slipped
into the nearby dark waters, never to return. That moment he
chose to journey out into the wilds and become what he so desperately
wanted to be, a venomous being of Thar-Eris.

Finding Thar-Eris and Outlander

Kraittosus always and will forever be a beast of Thar-Eris. Many
ask what brought him to this path, but the path was always there.
He was destined to be it, it was what was boiling in his cold blood
and there needing not be some catalyst that drove him to hunt
for Thar-Eris against all the defilers of the lands. Those defilers
he saw as the landscape to poison and decay its flesh. His world
opened to an endless supply of victims to poison and kill. To
teach Thar-Eris's ways through the brutality of the Cycle and
its various weapons, specifically poisons. 

His endless infatuation with poisons causes him to continue to
scour the lands for more. To collect them, test them, and apply
them to his enemies. It is his most prized item, and he hunts for
them feverishly as his currency in the lands. 

Those that are given a poisonous ingredient by Kraittosus (and
not applied to them to die), it is seen as the greatest gift in
his eyes. They are each unique and glorious in their own ways and
each of their effects he continues to study, document, and learn.

Anger and Skreenak

Born under the sign of Anger, Kraittosus has always had a seething
anger for those that defile the lands and the landscape where
the poisons of Thar-Eris flourish and germinate. This is not rage,
but instead, a steady, deceiving, eyeing you from the wilds waiting
for you to make a mistake and kill you, ANGER. It boils just underneath
the surface as an engine of purpose. This is what Kraittosus feels
continually as he watches from the edges of the wilds those who
do not respect the wilds.

And thus he worships the very poisons of the lands and sees Skreenak
as a scourge of poison on the lands. Most would believe that is a
negative, but Kraittosus loves such and thus worships and pays
homage to Skreenak in all his actions.

It is with great fervor and desire that Kraittosus provides his
most precious gifts in homage for Skreenak, an endless supply
of various poisons across all of Thar-Eris. This is his pillage
and plunder. This, and the flesh of those he has poisoned, which
too will be offered when gathered. Greatness to Skreenak and
Poisons that endure in their ever changing deadly ways!

Full Consumption and Slithering Ways

Kraittosus traits as a more serpentine saurian is real. As he
has grown, his tail has extended greatly and has webbing
between his claws for ease of swimming. His homes are the waters
across all of Thar-Eris. His jaw is the most interesting because
another feature which is mostly hidden is he can unlock his
jaw and consume the corpses of his hunts in whole. They feed
and sustain him, and he rarely eats except in this moment.

A feast of that amount sustains him and his dark energies for
many moons. Only rarely and in very dire circumstances will
he eat outside of those he hunts.
