Description
Slouching before you is a moderate sized man slightly hunched but
nearly upright as by human standards. This elvish looking being is
covered from head to toe with tar and soot, over a large hooded
robe. A drab blend of grey and deep black provide a potent mixture
of frightful tones. He has long sharp protrusions extending from his
left shoulder and right hand. A massive cape covered in black and
silver runes flows down sharply from his back and glows with passing.
From under the dark cowl of the robe are two deep yellow eyes with
crimson highlights. Aside from all this you notice...

Objectives of Lust.

Born unto a merchant family of Udgaard, he was raised in a fashion that
would promote business in the magical trade. This however came to an
abrupt end as his cravings for more might and power forced him to begin
syphoning off magical supplies for himself. Experimentation upon the
animals, mainly mongrel dogs, roaming the streets were next and soon
followed by the subject of self. As his lust grew so did his longing for more
exciting ventures and he secretly took up study at the local guild of
shapeshifters. Changing form excited him, simple words pushed his body
beyond limitation and into the realm of disbelief. The lust for a greater
understanding, and magical power urged him to perform tests upon
wandering convicts. He would force them to test spells he hadn't yet and
when this was discovered he felt the full wrath of the city being covered in
tar and set ablaze. With some luck he managed to flee the city before being
hung and moved to a more suitable and larger city.
Betrayal, fueling lust for power.

Venturing forth with a horned monster and a fellow mage he set out to gain
titles within the guild. Slaying many creatures with ease a title came within a
flash and soon the lumberyard workers were weak for learning. They leapt
into action moving down the eastern road to the Lord Tabbershaw's keep.
Busting through the door they found Sir Bilkon in his study and quickly
relieved him of his life and armor. Afterward slaying the house mage before
moving toward desert city, Hamsah. Skirting around the city they rested
north of the city for a brief moment before deciding to face orphans.
Carelessly the dimwitted minotaur rushed north straight into the Bloodletter,
Thrym himself, foolishly leading his group to demise. Quickly following he
abandoned his partner enraging him after seeing his blood spilled. Then he
watched as his two former group mates, gained title after title, his lust for
their blood and power growing with each one as he had to watch from a
distance as they grew. Before resting he informed the horned Mosai he
hopes he will live long enough to see true power and magic.
Lusting for despicable Darkness.

The overwhelming rush of energy, crackling down his spine from uttering
only a few incantations does nothing to slick his lust. More, more, his mind
cries in agony at any time in which he isn't able to rip forth ever increasing
power. He thinks their must be a cash somewhere in the lands and through
his research discovers many groups who seek magical power. Order magi,
chaos magi, magi of shadow, and the light, each furthering their goals
expeditiously but all of them falling short. Seekers of Eternal night he finds
are the only remaining source of exceptional magical ability. Seeking them
is a must and joining them he will do. Rumors of their alignment with the
darkness of otherworldly dimensions runs rampant. Caring little for where
their alleged ability hails from so long as he can use it to grow stronger, and
more powerful, he strives forward. Saliva fills his mouth slowly as he
dreams of the exponential energy that can be pulled from more than his
home dimension. Having no reservations to hold him back, he will do or say
almost anything to achieve his desire.
Inevitable Ending.

All goals must have a point where they are finally accomplished, a point
where they come to fruition, a point where the seeker acknowledges the
journeys end. Solidly inserting his will into situations around him though
any means available he has worked for his goal of a place among the
Chasm. Spying upon imperials, yoking their might to grow, gleaning their
knowledge, weaknesses, and strategies for future encounters he takes
careful note. In his task to seek information of Azuremain, Maethien, and
past or present portals, he syphoned bits and pieces from many sources.
Upon his completion, within a small conscription, he informed Shiloh whom
informed him that when his prowess in battle was tested, a place he would
have. Since then he has been a party to the defense of the Nightwalker
against the forces of the light, being an aid to their slaying. Soon he sees
himself calling to the eternal plane, gaining access to an energy so great he
can taste it's sweetness upon his lips. Furthering his goals, he takes an
interest in the divine energy of Thera, in hopes to one day move the earthen
lord Daevryn, and vie for his favors. Until the time comes, he will work in
mastery of his new animalistic shapes, honing and sharpening their tooth
and claw for combat.
Animalistic Ability.

Pushing beyond normal limitations into the realm of disbelief is a feat
accomplished by the energy woven by magic. He as a mage, has finally
reached the mystical point that he no-longer needs the uttering of words to
alter his form. Be it, primate, anthropoid, bovine, or feline, his body reacts to
his very whim. Pulses from deep inside his body of pure mana expand and
contract leaving new sensations filling the void beyond consciousness.
Fingers and hands forming sharp claws or hard carapaces for pincers allow
his nerves to experience a new tactile feeling. Compounded vision, night,
and day open his animal eyes to a bright spectrum of color. Innate talents,
learned through inherent bloodlines flow through him as if second in nature,
like breathing, or walking. Such experiences should be reserved for only
those whom truly appreciate and deeply understand the transitions. Of all
that he has learned, he realizes there is still so much more to know, to
understand, and to expound upon that drives him in a never-ending lust for

The Faces of Evil.

Within the world there are many types of people following numerous and
different walks of life. Inside each being born into this world are minds
capable of making any number of moral or immoral decisions. He
understands this and through his mind's eye, has several views on the
tenants which imbue one as good or evil stemming from his past. His life as
a youth taught him not to neglect any favors he may receive. Being a former
merchant his tongue speaks well with the more dim and dark and nearly so
with the light or in-between. Utilizing his talents and disregard for apparent
moral standards or moral imperatives he weaves a shadowed web over the
eyes of those hindering his lusty goals. Bartering with snooty elves, or
smelly orcs make no difference. If he is able to feed his lust for money or
trinkets, he is happy because he believes with them he'll end up with more
power and that makes all the difference. His kind of evil typically resides
with such actions as deceit, trickery, blatant lies, and partial truths over
physical violence. He is not normally the first to bare claw and fang, but
when one's back is turned they should still walk with a mirror over their
shoulder. Deep inside his apathetic heart bleeds for none but he.
Pretentious Fool.

Happenstance occurs whether we wish it or not, it is a part of each and
every mortals life. Recently during a item finding journey he awoke from a
short nap inside a small tower in some frigid part of the world to a snobbish
tower sentinel looking to make a deal. After a little bargaining he agrees to
look for the trinket required to bribe a supposed mistress, having never
accepted the deal completely. With a little exploration he is able to find and
recover the trinket. At a moderate clip he makes the hike with it back to that
shivering wasteland. Before passing it over he used a bit of magic to divine
it's value and asked for more compensation. The conceited sentinel insists
on the offer he made talking down to him slightly. Having sold to many like
this man, he ends up deciding that some money is better than none and he
begrudgingly accepts. Unfortunately the uppity little guard hinted at his
apparent cheapness, he was instantly offended and planed his retribution.
Stepping out swiftly he prepares for battle, returns, slays the pompous
guard, and takes both the trinket and the remainder of his coinage. Rumors
of his deal spread fast but it serves him as more of an inspiration and now
wears it as a badge in spite of the high and mighty guard.
A Glints of Sadness pt.1
Added Mon Oct 18 15:07:19 2010 at level 47:
Sadness affects everyone at some point in their lives and he is no different
in this aspect. Nearing the pinnacle of his guild a diminishing glimmer fills
his awe-stricken eyes, even with the onset of his new found forms. Giving
up his natural form of the Howler monkey and choosing the form of his racial
heritage was a choice well made and one that he knew would come.
Taking this increasingly idealistic shape inspired him, feeling a kinship in it's
embodiment unmatched with any previous animalistic body. Splitting
hundreds, maybe even thousands of times his legs arched into many, hard
plated chitins forming over all remaining portions of his torso, dozens of
teeth protrude through his mandibles and his semi-clawed hands form
ferocious pincers completing his transformation with mighty rapture.
Experiencing next a troubling blow was his final shape of the Porcupine
when all his hopes were for a reptile. For this decision to study the
subsurface monster, he has no regrets, but the pairing of forms he was
graced with comprises a small portion of his dismay. In his eyes, a small
glimmer of hope remains similar to the teaching he received for the viscous
Cavefisher form another chance for a more reptilian figure remains.

Most disheartening isn't the molds in which he can embody but the lack of
certain magical powers that elude him. Still without a place among the
Scions, even after answering each question posed of him, months of
research, and aiding in their numerous confrontations he finds he relies on
his powers of persuasion and deception to elude most foes rather than
facing them. Although not feeling fully entitled due to his lack of combat
expertise, he still wanders about the path he walks. Saliva still fills his
mouth at the thought of the new and darker talents he has yet to learn from
them. This placement on the outside, he feels, is a minuscule portion of his
limited successfulness. In spite of his lack of talents from the Eternal Plane
he continues to use any avenue possible to find what he can to gain more
power. While continuing his darker research he hears there are magical
protections spread about Thera for him. Aspiring to find them without avail
is the final nail in the coffin of his sadness as he has seen and experienced
the increased battle prowess due to their affects. Taking all of his setbacks
and combining them will be his future goal to overcome. To augment his
last shape, gain acceptance among the Scions and to find the first or all of
his magical rods are now portions of his goal and overall lust for more might.
The Catalyst for Completion.

Momentum is a strange concept but one in which he is begging to sense in
the trials of life. Looking to the future and his goals, small pieces of the
overall picture begin coming into frame. His discoveries of two of his
mystical protections was a huge boost to his confidence as the pleasurable
sensation of an added resilience relieves a pressure that had build upon his
shoulders over the years. A rapidly rising morale isn't completely due to his
search for magical artifacts or the magic contained within. Much of his semi-
giddy, impish, demeanor spawns from a small task given to him by a
diminutive hooded draconian. Seeking to gain the favor of this half-dragon
being is at the top of his priority list and he believes that not only may he
gain favor with the draconian's master but maybe learn a bit about the
impressive reptilian blood that flows through this being's veins. It didn't take
too long before he was able to uncover the intriguing item the draconian
had asked for in his deal. The item of intrigue was a mystical leg of ice,
specifically the leg of an ice para-elemental in which he has discovered will
suit the task well as it's objective. Feeling accomplished in these
achievements serves a dual purpose as it keeps him moving further forward
and sets his goals and accomplishments in perspective. Soon he believes,
all will come together.
