Description

Slim, but very well built, this felar stands just over 4 feet in height. His muscular frame is covered almost entirely by a mane of reddish black, which closely resembles embers of a slowly dying fire. Jet black, the tip of his tail stands all but motionless, regardless of his movements. A multitude of scars decorate his otherwise pure coat as obvious patches of pale pink skin showing through his fur. Eyes void of pigment peer out at the world scanning their surroundings like hunter in search of its prey. White predatorial teeth shine brightly from behind a fierce snarl, permanently fixed upon his lips. Closer examination reveals...

Entrance to the Village

Having met with Zaderas and gaining his trust, Krizshar
was quickly beckoned by Cezar to meet him at the village.
Cezar spoke that Krizshar's legend has reached many of
village and that his hatred for the magi was just and true.
Cezar welcomed Krizshar to the village and showed him to
his hut. Cezar did proclaim that he wished Krizshar to tell
him stories of the next five mages that he would slay, and
Krizshar in answer told him he would double that amount to
ensure that the story he would tell would be a grand and
legendary one indeed. Having slain over a dozen magi to
this date, Krizshar welcomes the fear this entails to his
enemies, as his exploits hang heavy upon the whispers in
taverns and shadowy streets. In time this will wear down
the resolve of his enemies and fear run rampant in their
minds and Krizshar can capitalize on this fear in the midst
of combat. Krizshar has shown a courage unmatched, as time
and time again he has propelled himself into danger to
strike down the magi to collect their skulls in triumph...

A Gift of Skulls...

A bone chilling wind befalls the village, as the
very huts within quiver in unison with its frozen
onslaught. The skulls within the huts began to
rattle due to this cold northerly wind. a murder
of crows fly off over the huts, sounding with
caws, warning of a predator approaching the region.
As quick as the wind began it ceases entirely, as
it leaves nothing but an ominous silence.
Suddenly the giant guardian calls out to all of
possible enemies approaching the village. Two twin
figures move silently and fluidly through the ruins
of Ostalgia, as those with a well trained eye would
take care to notice them to be couriers to the
assassin's guild. As swiftly as they came, they
vanish into the shadows, however leaving something
behind in return. Villagers presently within the
area will notice a large wooden chest charred and
smoldering slowly that has been placed before the
giant for all to see. Dying crimson embers slowly
drift off the blackened chest with wisps of smoke
trailing upwards into the wind. Those brave souls
of the village whom examine the inner contents of
the chest would find six skulls lined perfectly
within, each of which bearing a symbol relating
them to their foul guild of magic. A single dagger
pierces into the bottom of the chest with a small
scroll attached. Unrolling the scroll reveals only
a single name....Krizshar Embermane....

Scars of the Past...

The past of Krizshar is marred with torment, as
very few know his tale, and those whom do have only
heard the faint whispers that circulate among the
pubs across Thera. Krizshar remembers very little
of his past, most likely hidden in the deepest and
dark recesses of his mind. What he does know is this...
Krizshar has felt the anguish of the ages cast down
upon his race by their so called Masters, and it
has swelled his spirit with hatred and torment. He
lived the life of a simple peasant, his family dwelled
within the outskirts of the felar encampment. Krizshar
had no memories of his races peril, yet the fateful
day would come when his village would come under a
most heinous attack. A wave of magi bearing the seal
of the Consortium overtook their village, stealing
the children within the still of the night. These
young cubs would know horrors unspeakable upon the
tongues of man. And this would lead Krizshar to began
recognize the scars that his ancestors bore. Krizshar
was subjected to a variety of tortures and experiments
that would test and push every boundary of his being.
The Consortium wished to tap into his races resistance
to magic for their own twisted and power hungry desires.
His once white mane would be permanently charred to
resemble dying embers of a fire, a careful eye will
notice at times that his coat still smolders even to
this day. In captivity and torture would come the
visions, visions of the past and the horror his people
were subjected to. In this he would find absolution...
When Krizshar was no longer of need to the consortium
and his spirit wavering upon end, the magi dumped his
near lifeless husk into the Voralian river to drown.
However the gods would shine upon Krizshar that day, as
a member of the assassin's guild of Galadon would find
his dying carcass floating along the shores of the
river. He would take Krizshar back to the guild and
nurse him back to survival, and Krizshar would plead to
him to be able to survive...To survive the perilous war
that was yet to come. The assassin's guild would accept
young Krizshar and nickname him Embermane in reminder of
the scars he bears. He began his training to stand firm
against the foul magic that sweeps across the lands and
has persecuted his people for far too long. He is driven
of revenge and Krizshar will have his day of reckoning
with the dreaded Consortium one way or another....
