Description
Before you is a man of medium height and light build. He wears
a silky black robe, tied at the waist by a golden rope. His hood
does not cover his head, but falls halfway down his back, leaving
his head exposed. Fiery red hair curls its way down his back,
swaying gently in the breeze. His skin is unusually tanned and
clean for one with such fair hair. He fashions a fluorescent blue
rune upon his left cheek that seems to pulse as if in rhythm with
his heartbeat. Blood slowly trails the side of his face and falls
silently to the ground. His golden eyes stare blankly ahead.
Role
Born To Slavery
Added Thu Jan 11 06:39:34 2007 at level 12:
Kuhlceros was born to slaves in the Mansion of Twilight far away
from Galadon in the eastern corner of Thera. The Mansion was
ruled by an evil Vampire, no place to raise a child. As fate would
have it though, the darker side of existence always held the most
attraction to Kuhlceros. He was fascinated by the bizarrely clad
undead that roamed the Mansion under the vampires orders.
It was not long before Kuhlceros was forced to make trips into
Arkham for reagents and supplies. It was on one of these trips
that he heard a prophet speak of an everlasting life just to the
north. The thought had never crossed Kuhlceros's mind, everlasting
life.... And without hesitation, he followed the prophets preachings
and went to the fortress. Initially, he hid from the occupants of
fortress like an expert assassin, and as he did he watched them.
They were fanatics of a strange deity, all dressed the same, all
muttering the same muffled words. The devotees always went
about completely swathed in thick black robes. Disappointed with
being unable to find the secret to everlasting life, Kuhlceros tried
to leave the fortress, but as he did, he was spotted by guards at
the bridge. He was once again made a slave...
A New Beginning
Added Thu Jan 11 06:50:05 2007 at level 12:
Kuhlceros was locked away in a cell for months with only his thought
and the distant screams to keep him company. During this time
he was overcome with anger and frustration and it whittled away at
his sanity somewhat. One dark night though, he was ripped from
his cell and taken to an underground ceremony. He was pushing to
his knees infront of an altar. Circled around him were the fanatics,
all chanting in tongues. Then came a sharp pain. A burning rod
had been pressed into his cheek.
The burns were made, and they formed themselves into a blue
rune before the eyes of the fanatics. Kuhlceros then was suddenly
cast from the Fortress, not knowing what really transpired. Bewildered
and not wanting to return to serve the vampire of the Mansion,
Kuhlceros boarded a merchant's ship bound for Hamsah Mutazz and
then took a caravan to Galadon, to start a new life, but at what cost?
Tribunal
Added Wed Jan 17 00:15:11 2007 at level 20:
Having lived in Galadon for several years Kuhlceros began to
understand the delicate balance between those that kept the
order and those that broke it. Order to Kuhlceros was a means
to an end; the end ironically being immortality. He saw that
the Blood Tribunal would serve him well should he be given
membership. And so membership he sought.
With a weak grasp of the Laws and a silver tongue, he set upon
the Provinicial Magistrate Eoal. After brief formalities,
Kuhlceros was asked trivial questions and tested basically.
Eoal was no match for Kuhlceros' polished words and before long
he was assigned to Seantryn.
It was almost too easy for Kuhlceros, he had only applied a
day before. Was Eoal a push over that can be exploited at
a later date? Perhaps but as annoying as it was to Kuhlceros
he took a liking (despite it being out of pity) for Eoal.
He pondered this and many other things as he set about his
duties in his new home of Seantryn Modan. It would not be
before he was well known throughout the city, especially by
the brothel workers.
The Moons, The Dark, The Illithid (Part 1)
Added Tue Jan 23 07:19:13 2007 at level 31:
Kuhlceros started noticing slight differences in his powers
at various times. He firmly believes that it revolves around
the cycles of the moons. The greater the moon light, the
more powerful he feels. He would swear on his life that this
is the case. In his mind it is of the up most importance that
he is able to prolong the intensity of the moon light and
so it is darkness he seeks. There is no correlation with the
goals of the Chasm. He cares not for the Ccul'gra, nor the
portals to bring them to this plane. Kuhlceros' art is inter-
twined with and influenced by the moons.
Kuhlceros believes himself to be an outstanding Magistrate.
There are none that compare to him in the current bunch.
Yet he remains a Magistrate of Hamsah Mutazz, and it
greatly frustrates him. With the passing of the Provost,
opportunities are opened and it would be a terrible mistake
to have himself overlooked for a more responsible role.
His frustration reached a pinnacle just a few moons ago,
when Galadon was visited by an Illithid Elder.
The Moons, The Dark, The Illithid (Part 2)

The Elder was a fascination to behold, one the likes Kuhlceros
had never seen before. Not only was it fascinating to the
eye, it had powers that made mere mortals look foolish. This
Elder wanted the Spire to take on the Nexuns and feed
it the crystal key. Kuhlceros worded for the Elder and
tried desperately to convince the feebleminded and in-
decisive Magistrates to follow the orders of the Elder.
Yet instead, they recruited more people from different
walks of life and set upon slaying the Elder. This
infuriated Kuhlceros. When leadership and decision making
was required, there was none. His place in the Chain
of Command was not adequate.
Before the Elder was slain, Kuhlceros was told of its
ultimate desires for the army of illithid; to bring darkness
into this realm. This was perfect in Kuhlceros' eyes.
Exactly what he was seeking. Aiding the undead was
something that he is pondering. Should he become a
spy for the Illithid army? Can they be trusted? Would
Kuhlceros be spared and rewarded should they fulfill their
ultimate goals? The choice is not an easy one and
Kuhlceros will not take it lightly. He will place his faith
in the power of the Moons and let them decide for him.
Whenever that will be....
