Kurpich the Dai Sensei of the Miyama Ryu

Role

"He really wanted children, and best of all, a son, so that he could help his old father take
care of his large garden. The family lived far in the city of Duergars in the Past.
He met his wife when he was still young and they loved each other, as it seemed to him.
Together they were expecting a child and their life seemed serene.
They spent time with their parents, went to the wonderful forest for the holidays, and watched
performances. He even became interested in literature and tried to figure out how their
wonderful world lived.
One day while he slept his wife disappeared in a bright flash.
Everyone was looking for his wife, but they couldn't find her. After a long search,
she was found on an altar erected in the forest, in complete bliss.
She couldn't remember anything, but she became silent and self-centered. It bothered him.
Everyone forgot about this event soon after, as his wife announced that she was pregnant."
Kurpich was reading a note scribbled on old paper and crying. 
A man who wasn't really human. He was both a gnome and a duergar.
He had to play all kinds of creatures in this freaking magical theater.

- Strange events are happening there at the duergar city. 
Did you hear that one of them gave birth to a man from a duergar?
- Ahaha, how can that be?
Two elves were drinking beer in the forest and talking.
Their life was not particularly interesting, so they discussed every little bit of interesting event. 
- So, they say some kind of "magical intervention". Hahaha.
Some magicians have been running around here recently. Intervention, you can imagine.
Ahaha. Yeah, what's going on in the world, where are the Gods looking? Shame.
In the evening, the mother gave birth to a child. He and the doctor who looked for the baby
screamed in fear when they saw the fetus.
I won't be able to love him now, he'll go away, go somewhere. A human?
Shame on the whole family. At the same time, the wife was not at all surprised.
"Magical intervention," she said. 
The river was flowing fast. He held the child in his arms with disgust.
A little more and he will throw it into the water and it will over the slaughter. 
There were screams in the forest, they were looking for him, closer and closer. 
He couldn't have killed."
...The note was interrupted here. It was brought to him by his only friend,
a gnome who was captured by the duergars as a child. He got it on the promise of Kurpich
to pay him 10 gold coins. He loved money very much. 
- I am grateful to you, Grispich, now I have a purpose in life. 
- Whatisthepurpose? As always, gnome  spoke without pauses. 
- To avenge my father. 
- Iwonderhow? 
- I don't know yet, we need to find out what is behind this "magical intervention". 
- Soyouwillleaveourtheater? It'ssogoodhere, theaudienceadoresyou. Well, metoo. 
- Oh, dwarves should be smarter. There's a prison here. 
- Everythingsuitsme, do you hear? 
- Hey, motherfuckers, it's your turn to perform! - he heard the shout of the presenter of the performance in the magic forest.
- Kurpich, Grispich, show us two ugly human!

- Well, shallwego? Gnome sighed as always. Let'sshowthemwhattheywant!
Both spilled onto the stage. There was a smell of ale and beer all around, muffled laughter and
drunken curses. The performance was going on as usual, but suddenly Grispich shouted:
"A man can use a duergar like a horse!" - and jumped on the stage guard. The guard did not
expect this and began to retreat to the center of the stage, everyone froze in amazement. 
Other guards rushed to help him, but they touched the lamp in which the fire was burning.
There was chaos and shouting. Kurpich looked into the gnome's eyes. 
"Run", gnome mouthed. "Everyone should have their own goal." The last thing Kurpich saw was
the guards knocking gnome down, but no one was paying attention to the human. 
He slipped to the exit. 
Kurpich took more earth and smeared himself. 
"I'm a duergar, not a human." His brown hair turned dirty, or maybe gray-headed.

Fueled by the hope of figuring out what had so disgraced his family and lowered him to the bottom of life, Kurpich walked sullenly south. He began a journey through the magical elven forest. 
Walking through the elves, he was captured by them. "Look, that man is a duergar who was born as a result of, har, magical interference." 
Kurpich clenched his fist and struck at this elf, the elf dodged and grabbed him from behind and said: - Quiet, quiet, little fighter. Calm down.
- Let me go! - Why did you come to us? - I ran away from there, Kurpich waved his hand behind his back. "I wonder why duergars run away from duergars?"
The elf joked, "I need to deal with this 'magic intervention.' - Yeah, you're going to wash our toilets, if you want to figure it out.
- I can show funny scenes. Kurpich twisted his face, frowned and depicted a dull duergar from one side of view and a thoughtful duergar from the other. 
The elf laughed. Perhaps we'd better send you to the circus, he said.
Kurpich was working at the circus for the elves. But it didn't last long. One day an elder elf came to him. - Although I hate talking to you, we cannot disturb the peace of our forest by hating you. 
The elf gave him 5 gold pieces. - Go from here and look for what you want there, I hope our kindness will somehow be transmitted to the world through you.
Kurpich, all beaming, went on to his goal. He bought some food and rum to pass the cold places. He left the forest and then wandered through the icy ruins. Creepy lonely ruins. 
He only knew from the elves that the forest was further along the way, and then the main road and the city. Then he stumbled and fell into some kind of hole. 
It was even warmer in the hole, but then he felt the bone of his arm, and screamed terribly.
- What are you shouting? Old duergar was sitting in front of him. "Aren't you dead?" No, I'm alive, but I need rum!

- Don't you understand? Magicians now spread their magic through copulation with the strongest females, as they think.  The old man was telling him some nonsense that day. 
- Well, as always, they can be wrong. The old man laughed and showed a rotten mouth. - Give me some more rum. The old man trembled, pouring liquid. Tru-liu-li, old man sang. 
Oh, I was young before. The old man began to sing, but then he coughed. His eyes began to close. 
- Hey, tell me about it! Kurpich shouted at old man. 
So that's how they spread their magic. Well, they've long since deviated from the right magical paths.
It seems like they are looking for the one who finds the way to them to be the strongest. Or maybe it won't, huh! Old man began to fall asleep again. - Man, go on, or I won't give you rum! 
- I don't know, it's like they're looking for the strongest one to give him power, magic, mo 
Kurpich sighed, there was nothing clear in this nonsense. If they're looking for someone strong like that, then what's the point? 
They destroy families in such a way, they destroy peace and kindness. After all, kindness is all that's good in the world, isn't it? He remembered Grispich and tears welled up in his eyes.
- Well, it's all a divine game. The gods are playing with us. But everyone needs a purpose to exist, right? 
- Why are they playing? - I don't know, they're having fun. Or they want you to get better, maybe. Feel yourself like a god for a minute. 
Can you imagine making other people's lives, who will live and who will die? That's great. The old man began to sing again and fell asleep. 
Interesting. One should become the god of one's destiny then, Kurpich thought. Who controls himself controls the world. This is the closeness to God. With these thoughts, he fell asleep.

In his sleep, he felt that an old man was leaning on him. He was yelling through rotten teeth: - This game is not fair! Avenge me, kill them, find the one who interfered with our fate and kill them.
If your family is dear to you. Even though you are a human being, I am your father, I loved you! 
When Kurpich woke up, everything was covered in snow. There was a skeleton in the hole, covered in dirt and empty bottles, which seemed to have been a living creature recently.
Did he turn into a skeleton overnight or was Kurpich delirious all this time? 
- Okay, you want me to play the divine game. I'll play, but no kindness now, you'll all regret it," he shouted into nowhere. He threw branches and stones at the skeleton, stuck an old tree on top. 
Sleep well, I know what to live for. Let's play. His mouth was bared in an evil smile, and fire appeared in his eyes. 
I love playing death! A shadow flashed along the walls of the cold ruins, skipped along the trees in the forest and rushed to its goal of revenge and killing, never to return here.
After the shadow left the altar of stones, black smoke began to thicken above it in the silence of the falling snow. 
Gradually, he concentrated into a transparent human figure, whose legs were barely visible. 
- Yeah, the magicians are completely relaxed, they have already forgotten that great battle between Chaos and Order. 
The creature shook its head. I'm afraid that the battle is coming again, and who won it for us? Battleragers! How beautifully I created another fool, blind with rage. 
The creature smiled to itself. - An interesting game! Only the deceived can fight to the end, the dumber they are, the more fiercely they fight. 
Satanic laughter rang through the ruins. 
- You are mine forever now, you can only gain freedom by fighting heroically. 
The creature disappeared in a flash of light. The silent snow continued to fall.

A palace with painted showcases depicting the wonders of magic, blazing with the smells of beautiful flowers, was disrupted by terrible swearing. 
The flower mages suddenly shuddered, their white robes billowing. 
- Ariel, I'm tired of your games! A tall man in transparent pink robes was shouting. Have we exterminated the Rangers? Exterminated. 
They made a village for themselves there and let them live. And now we have a bunch of corpses of innocent magicians. "But I was assigned what?" 
To create a controlled army that will obey us, right? Nathaniel looked out the beautifully carved window.
The beautiful rose gardens stretched across his entire view. He was very fond of roses and always dressed in a pink robe. Thousands of years of peace, yeah.
- Yeah, well, I've created a leader that the Village will follow and go where we need to, Nathaniel.
"He's already killed a bunch of innocent magicians who couldn't even resist him!" Nathaniel got angry and on impulse created a fireball that flew at Ariel. 
He dodged and the ball hit the window, the window burst. "Damn," Nathaniel twitched, and the demon appeared in the middle of the room. 
- "All, get lost! " The fire immediately went out and the demon disappeared. "Nathaniel, you don't get scrambled eggs without breaking them.
Soon they will be under control and will not interfere with our plans."
He began to suffocate as a garrote appeared on his neck and slowly began to strangle him. 
-Damn it, put it away, Nathaniel! "If I don't see the results within the next few months, you're going to die, Ariel!" "Yes, yes, master, I'll be done soon!"

There was a cheerful drunken mood in the village. Few people managed to collect thirty skulls of magicians in such a short period.
- Kurpich, you are showing outstanding results, the commander shouted! The crowd applauded.
- Let's drink to you, our hero! After the celebration was over, as always, they sat with the commander and talked, separately, in a quiet forest in the village.
Yes, there were times before, the commander shouted into the void. 
Thror showed us how to fight. Are you a future Thror? - No, I'm just avenging my father, Kurpich said sadly. 
- Son, is that you? It was heard in the dark. "Who's there?" the commander shouted.
- It's me, Kurpich's mom, looking for him, where did he go? Kurpich recognized his mother, but
she looked somehow unnatural, deceitful. - Oh, village Commander, mother smiled.
It looks like Kurpich is going to be the new leader now! 
- No, it's none of your business, mother, Kurpich shouted. 
- Whyyes, it is. Greenspitch came out of the bushes. Everyonewantstosaveyou. 
Wewillsaveyounow.
- Yes, it's all hypnosis, Kurpich, the commander shouted, his face went numb and he prepared for
battle. Kurpich took out his sword. - Come on, fight now! "I have not only a sword, but also some
brains," Kurpich shouted. You're all not real! The commander cut him in the leg with his sword,
Kurpich felt pain and started bleeding. "Hit the shadow," grunted Gruspich, and immediately a
sword pierced his body out of nowhere. "Traitor," came from behind the commander.
Kurpich thought for a moment. He believed Grispich, as he had at the Duergar, and struck a
precise blow somewhere behind the commander, at his shadow. She looked too weird.
Immediately, a wild scream sounded. The shadow of the commander took on the shape of a
magician in black robes, dripping with blood. - What have you done,
I've been leading you for so long The magician choked on blood.
At the same time, the ghost of the mother disappeared, the commander's face was thrown off 
the stupor and he fell senseless. Greenspitch's figure took on the look Kurpich knew, but he was
covered in blood. The brick caught the dwarf, but the dwarf was dying. 
- They put me up to it, I can't do much against the guards. 
- God, I forgot about my savior, forgive me Grispich. 
- They left the city, promised money and freedom. - Where to? 
- Gardens of roses, gardens of roses. There's such a smell, there's an eternity The gnome's body went limp. 
Ragers saw a picture of the battle, the commander woke up and was fine, complaining 
about magic tricks and promising to kill everyone. Kurpich was left with the gnome's body. 
His soul was at peace. He knew now that he was on the right track, 
that magicians would always choose manipulation, soulless, believing in nothing else.
