Description
Looming before you is a gigantic being, seemingly an oversized caricature of
humanity. Alabaster skin with bluish overtones stretches taut over bulging
muscles that seem almost absurdly large. His head is massive and his large
forehead seems capable of withstanding a hammer strike. Still, under his
thick brow are to glittering eyes of stormy gray. They peer out over a
hawkish nose that is set over a mouth that is itself affixed atop a jutting
chin on a strong jaw. His chest juts out proudly, as if daring the elements
to test themselves against him. Yet is he dour or jovial? It is hard to say
as his feelings seem closely guarded though he seems given to consideration
of a situation rather than reaction to his feelings.

Kyn is to be a person who lives his life as a just being. He will make every
effort to portray himself as a suitable role model for others to follow, and
hopes to garner a reputation of fairness and thus guide others toward the
path of righteousness and punish those who stray from it.
Origins

Far up the river known now as Voralias Tears is a tributary without a name.
Its mouth is obscured by dense over hanging willows and clotted with fallen
logs, swept down by storms. It winds its way far into the rocky crags of the
mountain, and originates ultimately into the mountains themselves. Near its
source Kyns people make their homes in a smallish city carved from the sheer
cliffs of canyon gorges.
Home Sweet Home.

Highest among the cliff dwellings dwelt Kyn and his family, Mother, Father,
and two sisters. Their abode was cut far back into the mountain, with broad
road like hallways, a kitchen the size of an inn, a dining room that would
shame many a town square, two guestrooms, and with each member having a
cavernous room for themselves. A rivulets of water passed through the center
of the main hall and was a source of joy for those baby Storm Giants too
young to brave the torrential rapids of the mountain river below. This
stream of water ran out the main entrance to spill over a lip of stone, a
natural porch of sort, before cascading into the river below.
It was from this vantage point that Kyn would spend hours observing the now
diminutive forms frolicking in the waters below. With his panoramic view he
could often see events brewing, before those who were directly involved in
them could. A tree trunk drifting down the river, strait toward the back of
an suspecting bather. A young storm skipping flat rocks over the water, but
unable to see that he just missed the head of an elderly storm hidden just
below the waters surface because of the refractions. An elderly Storm not
realizing he was spared a pounding headache from that same rock because he
was chasing fish that were harder and harder to catch every year.
It is because of this that Kyn developed a sense of introspection and was
able to remain detached from the chaos around him since he reminds himself
that he is a part of a series of events that he can not see in its entirety.
A distant Glimmer.

Eventually the day came when Kyn was taken with an adventurous spirit and he
set forth from his home. His parentage and up bringing were such that he
seemed well suited for the guild of Paladins. He applied for and was
subsequently accepted for training. His schooling was such that he was
trained vigorously in the celestial pantheon of the gods, but their
interpretations were always left open. Eventually the Day of Choosing came
and he went forth to a mountain to seek his deistic vision. After days of
nothing, with his mind beginning to play doubtful tricks on him, a glimmer
appeared upon a distant peek. He called out to that beacon of hope with his
thoughts, and on that day Dalteric came into his life. On that day he began
to truly take form.
