Before you is a tall and sturdy looking man, standing at around 6'3". He has the athletic build of a gymnast, with long muscular limbs that fill out a form-fitting suit of armor built from a combination of dark leather and metallic plates. Spilling out from an ornate skullcap is a greasy mane of long black hair that drapes down over his black hooded tunic. Under his cloak, you notice the glimmering lights of reflective metal from a wide variety of assorted blades that, while numerous, have been stored meticulously so as to avoid any unwanted noise from movement. At the request of my new Lady Nalasul, I have decided to chronicle the events
of my life, both with my past upbringing, and with present updates. It is
certain that if you now read this, I am dead and the game that was my life is
now over. If you glean amusement from this reading experience, you're
welcome.

Father Figure

Surely the most influential model for me in my life was my father, albeit not
an unusual occurrence, admitting I owe anything as important as my
personality or choices to him is irritating to say the least. Still, I
suppose in the lottery of elders I quite cashed out in many ways. From him I
inherited his quick wit and endless charm that had our township constantly
enamored by his mere presence. My father, the town's healer, was so beloved
by all, in fact, that contrary to tradition he was elected a healthy sum of
annual salary that seemed to only ever grow larger with each passing year.


The people of my town were simple minded, and my father wasn't like those
other stuffy clergy. Down to earth, comical, kind-hearted - My father had his
ways in the hearts (and wallets) of all that I knew, and was truly masterful
at his craft. Truly I suppose I do owe the man something for showing me the
powerful tools inherent in social behavior as a means of control and gain.

Beautiful Pain

Another personality trait gleaned from my father, whether learned through
blood or mere observation of the fact, is a strong appreciation for reaction
of the mind to physical (and mental) torment. The most precious of all, I
learned, is the torture of those who have placed all their hopes and dreams
and trusts and.. love in you, as so many had placed in my father as the
entire village looked to him to heal their many ailments (which he did, quite
effectively).


Amusingly, my father drew no special favors or prayers from higher deities,
preferring rather to draw powers from his books and other black powers that I
don't completely understand, or care to, even to this day. Rather than grovel
before a god, my father paid the much lower cost of the lives and sanity of
various villagers when it suited him. Through their gift of life (and various
limbs) taken in secret, my father was able to maintain the health and
wellbeing of the remaining township, and result in a net good for the
society, all while playing his little games - a fact that always quite
impressed me.


Thinking back now, the bonding moments with my father during these times were
perhaps my fondest. I would aid him with tools and such when little, and with
the physical restraints when slightly older. Sometimes he even let me join in
the fun, just to see them scream under my own power. Truly the brightest
memory was when we dissected my very first love, with whom I had shared many
fond times. We were able to keep her live a deliciously long time,
considering most of her insides were no longer insides. I still remember the
sensation of warmth as I held her heart that she had given to me freely.


Currently there is constant war with the Maran fools and the Village idiots
which has, for now, satisfied me with the creation of pain and death (all in
the name of the greater good, just as my father.. how ironic), but I fear I
grow thirsty once more for that sensation I now recall from my youth..
thankfully, I have been farming love in plenty amongst Thera. The only
question now, is when will they be ripe for the picking?

Church of Morius

Personally, I find recollection of the past relatively disinteresting, so the
fine reader will forgive me if I pass swiftly over the more immaterial
happenings such as my father's murder (quite uneventful.. he enjoyed it too
much for my liking), my taking of the bloodoath (an obvious path to spreading
influence and access across Thera, and growing my love amongst the populace)
and my finding of Nalasul's temple (what a stupid place to build it, those
idiots). But now is the present time, and I have been tasked by the one and
only living steward of my secrets to "shape the perception of others." As
this is like asking a fish to swim, I of course must up the stakes, or risk
boredom with this task. As such, I shall take advantage of my "membership" in
the church of Morius and grow in status and prestige with him and his
followers. Where this will take me, I am still quite unsure, but I see only
sweetness in the possibilities ahead.

True love

Truly the most amusing example of seduction is Trithana's undying devotion
and naive love for me. Played like a cheap fiddle, she trusts me completely
and without hesitation. Discarding her Magistrate's badge, she now considers
joining the Chasm and is now, as I write this, worried that I will no longer
love her if we become political enemies. Poor, foolish woman. I have told her
my devotion will be undying, even if it must be in secret. I suppose there is
some truth to this.. it is much too soon to break my toy. More time is
required for this lovely bond to marinate. Only later when I absolutely
cannot wait any longer.. will I allow the sweet plunge of my blades into
every last inch of unsullied flesh in sweet, delicious ecstasy.

Castration

In a rare moment of uncontrollable rage, the false vale of pleasantries that
I have been accustomed to maintaining in effortless fashion has fallen. I
cannot control my anger. Rahsael has taken from me everything - something I
did not even conceive of as a possibility in the past. My efforts to
manipulate Morius into my favor now has a certain goal. I am driven now
beyond all stopping. My ultimate goal now, will to employ the might of Morius
to punish Rahsael while I watch. I will watch the foolish god's flesh be torn
asunder with glee, as his immortal soul continues in the agony he will suffer
at Morius' hand.


Now to just get the Lord Morius to hear my prayers...
