Description
As you gaze upon this stone colored felar, she quickly shifts her neck
and peers about herself. Her eyes are a dark blue, reminding you of the
deepest of oceans. Her eyes are pointed vertically, jutting roughly
from her figure. Her body is long for a felar, and if she stood on all fours
she would stand at least five feet tall. However her posture is hunched,
and with her weight held on her hindpaws, she uses one of her forepaws
to maneuver herself about and keep balance. Her fur is a gray
stone color though it resembles something darker as mud and soot now cover
most of her back and mane. You look again upon her face and see a tense,
strained regard upon it, her whiskers perked and her brow taut with worry.
You peer a little closer and notice an area on her right arm which
is nearly furless. Something has been etched on her pale skin. The symbol
of a gleaming hunting horn can be seen, accompanied by small lightning bolts
surrounding it.

Liurnya has been tested many times, and she has fallen in battle many
a time. She views this as a test of her resolve, as she rises up time
after time to defy the mages that would have her gone from the realms. A certain
She has perservered, and bearing the mark of the Clarion, she continues
upon her path. She is proud, and has grown to see the village strong,
with a Captain, Commander and General all rising in her lifetime.
She would hesitate to say so, but she feels she has had a part in the
rejuvenation of the village, as she often speaks with young promising warriors, eager
to join them in their war. She has tried to guide them, and continues to do so.
Death, blood mark her now, and though she does not lust for it, she has grown accustomed
to the barbaric acts she has commmitted, and no longer hold a dislike for men.
This is perhaps because she has lived for so long among them, and
truly does not have a choice in the matter! She must adapt.
The Rites, and the Clarion.

Two events have marked the life of Liurnya of late...The Rites of War,
and being marked as a Seeker of the Clarion. She is proud regarding both, as
she feels she represented her kin well, with the honorable battles of the Rites,
savagely engaging in battle with the Barbarians of her Village.
As for the Clarion, she feels honored to have had the chance to speak the her Lord,
and hopes to stand fast on the path of life she wishes to walk.
What she may not admit, is that she is happy that some compare her to Friliwan,
one who is most dear to her, as he Sounds what she seeks.
Friliwan, and the Clarion.
Added Mon Aug 23 21:47:14 2004 at level 30:
Liurnya has come across a small warrior by the name of Friliwan. Though
throughout her young life she has been wary of men, she has grown most fond
of the svirfneblin drunken warrior. He lives to a higher code in life, one that she
hopes to one day live up to. She will not admit her admiration for the warrior, as she
is too proud to admit such feelings, but deep in her heart she hopes to find the strength
that Friliwan lives by.
Speech.

Liurnya speaks in a tongue more akin to an elf than a dull witted felar.
She is self conscious of this, and as research that she has done revealed to her
that it was transmuters that gave them the skill of speech Liurnya fears sometimes
that she is nothing but a product of mages. However, she realizes she must come to bear
who she is and can only do her best with what she was born with.
Advancing

Liurnya is slowly developping a talent for combat. She has trained
for long hours, hoping to hone her body and mind to a sharpness she has yet to
experience. She now feels a new confidence in her claws and is comfortable
wielding no weapon. She continues to seek out the Lord Vynmylak, a bastion of honor
according to rumors she has heard.
Purpose.
Added Mon Aug 9 22:58:30 2004 at level 4:
Liurnya, exiled and abandoned knew that the time had come for her to
find her own strength. She realized that she was lacking in both knowledge and combat abilities
and that to survive, that must change. Her tribe had been raised with a deep
hatred of magic, brought upon by the years her kin had been used as test animals for
their dark arts. This hatred she kept with her, as she saw little strength
and honor in the ways of magic. However she also heard whispers of a mighty Lord.
One that held honor and the ways of war above all. Intrigued she sought more knowledge of him.
The sound of a Clarion rings true when his massive feet strike the earth.
With increased knowledge, she sought him out. Hoping to one day be known as one of his followers.
+ Early years.
Added Mon Aug 9 16:11:44 2004 at level 3:
Liurnya led a most troubled childhood. She was not allowed to play with the young males
of the tribe and was forced to sit in her hut with other females and learn the finer arts.
She disdained such things and dreamed of times of war, of honor and bloodshed in combat.
She pleaded with her father to teach her the ways of combat and to let her spar with the males,
but he would hear none of it. He gave her very little attention, and showed her no love.
Her mother however loved her dearly and encouraged her in secrecy to pay close attention
to the boys who sparred for pleasure, as her mother said that one day she would need to learn
to defend herself, and that she could rely on noone. So Liurnya watched the males
from the shadows of her hut hoping one day to join them. However this day seemed like it would never come
with her father insistent on her learning the ways of cooking and sewing.
And this is how it came to be that Liurnya would sneak off at night away from the encampment
and she would hunt. Anything she could find, as she was quite a ruthless creature.
She was quite content with this until one night as she was sneaking back to her hut she
found her father waiting for her. He was clearly furious as he suspected where she had been.
She said nothing and in his fury he told her to leave the tribe and never to return. He banished her
from the encampment and without a chance to say goodbye to her mother she was whisked away.
Inception
Added Mon Aug 9 16:00:57 2004 at level 3:
Liurnya was the daughter of a great warrior family, etched in tradition.
Her father, the son of their tribes chief in the cold southern lands held
pride, honor and fellowship to the pack above all else. He was a great warrior,
a master of spears and staffs, the most respected weapon of their tribe. Her father had
wished a son, to pass down the tribes teachings in the ways of combat and lifestyle.
However this son never came. His mate, known only as StoneClaw for her odd colored
fur and embarassingly dull claws was utterly ashamed that she could not provide the chiefs son
with a male heir. Years passed and StonceClaw grew more and more ashamed. Until
one day she felt a child grow within her, and Liurnya was born months later.
However all was not well, as the felar baby was not what Liurnyas father had been looking for.
He claimed he had no need for a daughter, that theh families legacy would falter without
a true heir. He was a broken male felar, lost in shame.
