Description

Here stands a small human. Though his frame is diminutive, it's firm tone hints at very rigorous training. This man has a proud, noble face partially hidden beneath his hood, and you can see wisps of shoulder length auburn hair spilling out. You catch his piercing gaze for a moment and see in his hazel eyes an acerbity that seems incongruous with his calm exterior. He carries various pouches and shortblades about his body, and most of his armor has been blacked or dampened in order to facilitate stealth.

Role

The Fall of Risor.

Added Thu Jan 19 00:44:33 2006 at level 9:
Lonran Kalvesat was born a prince in the small kingdom of Risor, which
existed quietly a day's travel east from Arkham. His family was a family of
warriors, and Lonran was certainly the runt of the litter. His two older
brothers Simon and Johan were big and strong and fierce, so they thought it
wildly funny that Lonran would choose a trade steeped in secrecy and
mysticism. One fateful day, however darkness fell upon the land of Risor in
the form of undead armies led by dark wizards from Arkham. It was a massacre.
All who fought perished, save Lonran, whose stealthy prowess allowed retreat
when all was lost. Prince Lonran, the last son of Risor, now a copper less
pauper, made his way westward until he found a pure and goodly town called
the Voralian city and vowed to begin whatever training he could so that he
could one day strike back against the forces of evil.

A return to Risor.

Added Sun Mar 19 19:30:24 2006 at level 39:
It had been many years since Prince Lonran fled his home. Over time, the
bitter anguish at the gruesome battle that destroyed his life faded into the
vagueness of memory. Though Lonran never gave up his crusade against the
darkness, it had become routine. So Lonran resolved to return to Risor, to
judge for himself the extent of the corruption. Utilizing the skills he had
learned since leaving his homeland, Lonran managed to sneak into his father's
old castle, despite the heavy guard set by the dark, new Lord who had laid
claim to the area. When Lonran saw the desecration, the rage that had slowly
faded over the years took control of Lonran. For every zombie he dispatched,
five more seemed to appear. By the time Lonran came to his senses, he was
vastly outnumbered, and had begun to draw the attention of the more elite
guardsmen. As he had so many years before, Lonran flung himself headlong into
the darkness and disappeared back into the shadows. Once more he had been
forced from his home, but this time his fury had nearly taken him to his end.
Lonran swore to rededicate his efforts in cleansing the lands of darkness. In
his travels, Lonran had heard tales of a fierce dwarven Lord called Aarn, who
could forge a man into a better weapon. Bloody and beaten, cowering in the
darkness east of Arkham, Lonran knew he would need divine guidance to fully
cleanse the land where his family once had ruled.
