Description
Yielding just thirteen feet tall, this Cloud giant stands defiantly.
Her narrow sterling eyes weigh an unbreakable concentration within
them. With a fair complexion and no facial hair, her features are
inherent to a female. Even though she is very stout and might seem
fat, she handles her large size gracefully. Painted carefully on
her face are tribal war decorations. With her meticulous white hair
tied tightly back into a long ponytail, she actually looks civilized.
Her armors are also well proportioned for her vastness. Deep within,
she shows a somber characteristic----nothing to be taken lightly.

"Everything is set, sir. The hoods are in position, ready to strike. We
must ready our weapons, the giants are on their way." said the mischieveous
drow captain. "Your strike team executed the theft well, captain. I will
see to it you are paid well from their stockpile of gems." said the drow
commander in a gruff, yet pleased tone. "Infact, everything was executed
to near perfection. That sentry was very stupid." continued the commander,
followed by "Flekard" and the commanders snickering.
Even more previously: Lora meets "Flekard" the mischieveous drow.

During the time Lora was practicing her scouting abilities in the woods,
she was approached by Flekard. Unknowing of what Dark-elves are, they,
or rather he, began to speak. Lora sat and listened patiently, quite
interested in what he had to say. She thought to herself, everything
he said of going nowhere in life staying where she was, with absolutely
no aspirations, was very pointless. And that she should be doing something
with herself, besides wasting away. They continued to meet for about a
weeks time, and Flekard would teach her sword manuevers and other various
combat and knowledge skills. Finally pleased with herself, she became
trusting unusually quick...
The emptiness within
Added Thu Dec 2 22:16:52 2004 at level 7:
Feeling empty and discontented with her horribly failure, Lora sat there
in the midnight wood alone. Sitting there for nearly days, contemplating
her situation, she came to a conclusion. She would continue to the cities
to the South, as directed on her maps. With noone left but herself, she
would take up a new direction. She would repent her mistakes, to avenge
her kinsfolk. She would be a protector of the innocents...and strike down
those who would bring chaos. This is her oath, and this is her challenge.
Lora's discontent
Added Thu Dec 2 19:07:17 2004 at level 1:
The combatative Cloud giant, Lora, is bound to a story of challenge, change
and combat. The sort of change that is reflected deeply into the soul and
heart, where the motivation and dedication lie. Once a defender in a quaint
village of Cloud giants, laid deep in the forests at the base of the Northern
mountains. While Lora is not a very intelligent being, she is infact quiet
and retains a certain wisdom unkown to her primitive kinsfolk. She believes
she lives in self-ordained ignorance, as if trapped inside her own mind and
confined to this village. Where did these thoughts come from, you wonder?
Setting out for adventure
Added Thu Dec 2 19:08:20 2004 at level 1:
Lora began gathering up enough supplies for a small army, stuffing it all
inside one of the giants' oversized backpacks. Food, water, weapons, maps..
She was carrying it all. Questioning herself throughout the entire day,
wondering if everything would be alright. She had a strange feeling deep
inside her, almost unexplainable. But she has put trust into her newly
found friend. Afterall, he has been very kind to her and has given her many
new skills and ideas. And so nightfall came upon the village, and Lora
began strapping up her travelling boots, ready to secretively set out on
the paths of adventure.
THIEVES!
Added Thu Dec 2 19:09:34 2004 at level 1:
"THIEVES! STOP THEM!" shouted the strong, demanding voice of a Cloud giant
commander. Before anyone could react quickly enough, the shadowed figures
slipped away into the midnight wood. "Where is the sentry?! Who was on
duty?! SPEAK UP!" the angry commander said a short time after the event of
the robbery. A younger looking sentry began to speak up of Lora, who was
infact the sentry on duty. When telling the commander of her packing and
leaving, he was quickly scolded as to why he didn't say anything sooner.
It had not been long since Lora left, the sentry tried to explain. With
that, the commander sent out six warriors to track Lora and the small band
of hooded thieves.
The ambush!
Added Thu Dec 2 20:48:43 2004 at level 5:
Jumping from trees, and darting from bushes and shadows with swords and
daggers at the ready, the six Cloud giant warriors found their search
was in vain. Though not willing to give up, they gave the attacks a short
resistance. In the distance, Lora could hear several of the booming warcries
from her kin. Her interest was quickly averted, and she began to quickly
pace her way through the woodland that she knew so well. Falling to her
knees in disbelief, she looked upon the six large dead bodies. She wept for
them and wondered how this could have happened. She shouted angrily "WHY!".
Looking up and towards her village, she could see fire just above the tree
line. She could not return. She knew that this was her fault.
