Description
The first thing that calls your attention is the
pointy blue wizard hat, adorned with a black moon
and a few stars well fitted in the top of the
head of this thin and pale dark-elf. His eyes
are wide and of the deepest black contrasting
with the pale white of his skin and the almost
perfect contorn of his red lips.
A long, shining gray silked robe, covers almost
all of his unusual tall body and some knee high
boots are protecting his feet.
Many amulets can be seen, adorning his necks,
and his silky long black hair falls almost at
the middle of his back.
You keep watching this strange figure, but when
you blink, he is no longer there. You just
remember that:

We came to briefly rest before all the light would fade, the jabbuk want to check his previsions
without using a torch, and so he got a celestial map, a very beautiful chart containing the
constellations visible from Thera, he was always looking for specifical alignments of the stars,
although he never explained the methodology he was using, I was trying to observe and
understand.
"Hmm, almost", he was muttering as he was tracing rays through the chart with a golden carved
pen , "The serpent is positioned in front of the sentinel and the lotus and the unicorn are with
given hands, yes, yes, the moment is near, our timing is perfect. It's time, I will beckon then to
come," and uttering words I've never heard before, he initiated a short and picturesque ritual,
suddenly, I could swear that the talon of a shadow landed in the soil around us, modifying
completely its nature, all was despoiled and without live, the jabbuk smiled, I was terrified and
relieved by not been the bloody part of that ritual, now he was communicating with the shadows
and they were somehow answering to him, in a gultural tone, nothing that I could try to
understand, and then when my jabbuk turned quickly and spelled one of the most powerful faer
(magic) knew within those of our art, "Neurological Disruption" and someone had frozen in the
corner, quickly another faer, "Corporeal Softening" and a moment later the "Disrupt Organ" was
enough to bring elghinn to the darthiir (surface elf) scout.
"A darthiir, we have been spotted, they are after us" and he got his charts and belongings, storing
them into his girdle, "haste we have no time to lose", and we saw the gleaming of the torches in
the distance, moving within the mists, "A paladin and two warriors" said the jabbuk, I have no
time to deal with them. "Luvren, you will stay, be kyone (alert) and delay them here, take, lending
me a beautiful sealed scroll, this is the title of your house the Dal Alur'kyonss (from the superior
hand), you deserve it, elgg (kill) them, and if you survive..." and he fitted inside my eyes, as judging
my soul, I felt a cold breeze descending upon my body, "and if you survive, go to the desert of
araile, seek for the Chasm, you have enough knowledge to acquire admittance, you will
understand better about our travels there", then again he got his black talisman and uttered new
words without a meaning to myself and a huge shadow emerged just at my side, red eyes fitting
me, breathing hardly, I barely could discern the long fangs and tail, "He will fight at your side, but,
don't be a coward or you will become cahallin (food) for it", and the jabbuk disappeared within
the mists.
Hearing the noise coming from behind me, I stepped into a new dimension and waited to waylay
the trespassers. The battle went long, I would never win, we've beaten the warriors, the creature
destroyed the elven flesh with its vicious claws after I softened them, but the knight of faith was
resisting to all my attempts of body control, when he struck the creature with three strong blows,
each of them with a glow and hum coming from his sword as he was saying: "for the faith, for the
purity and now the end with the deliverance", the shadows dispersed, I knew the creature was
dead or gone. Using my accelerated spe

These are a few pages found, in the diary of Luvren , the rest of the pages were missing, and I've
took great care translating the words in the dark-elven language to the common tongue trying to
keep their meaning within the context.
I still remember that evening, it was cloudy in the day of the bull, snow had felt for almost one
week, the peaks of the Tahril Mountains were barely visible through all the hazing fog, the howling
of the wolves were stronger, they were hungry ready to hunt into their packed akh (group),
justifying the name of this month, the month of the winter wolf, a time I shall not forget.
The faern (wizard) was old, I could not judge his age, nor dare to ask, he was an ilharn (patron of a
house), and was carrying me with him since I know about myself. I somehow was part of his inth
(scheme), serving him in all possible ways, kyorlin (watching) my jabbuk (master), trying to learn
his mystical ways, and getting a glimpse of the powers of the arcane.
According to him, we were following the colbath (path) to the northern gates of some kind of
ruins, a place filled in shadows, with creatures called Ccul'gra or something of the like, I still am
not very aware of these terms, his secrecy in these matters were always an annoyance.
He was always muttering in an almost whispering tone: "I have a inthigg (treaty) with them, and
will elgg (destroy) any alust (facing) my colbath."
Many had come looking for him after my jabbuk acquired the faerbol (magical item), all enemies,
and all had fallen a quick, but not less painful elghinn (death). I cannot say I did not felt jivvin (fun)
stabbing them from the darkness, or softening their skin and decalcifying their bones, so that my
jabbuk would just crush their skulls with only a single chop of his staff. Myself, oh, I could never
take a good look at the faerbol, even when the jabbuk was sleeping, he sworn that I would start to
cast with only one hand if I just approach the bol. I know we've traveled from the small Village of
Hillcrest, in the northern plains, to the Palace of Seantryn Modan in the distant south, negotiating,
trading, persuading, killing and using all kind of subterfuges to find it, until our discovery, in the
distant and arid wastes of nonveil.
Now, we were bringing the faerbol to these creatures of the night, we came quietly from the
under dark, after my jabbuk performed the ritual upon the faerbol at Teth Azeleth, crossed the
elven valley and the open plains at full speed, and now we were almost arriving to our destination,
wherever it lies within that foggy pass.
"Stop", said the jabbuk, as he slowly moved towards a chrysanthemum in the ground, he picked it
admired, a quick smile drawed at his runed face. We are about to face the truth, this flower
represents it abbil (comrade). It was the first time he called me abbil, this was more surprising to
hear those words than all the travels to acquire the faerbol, including the visit to the green dragon
and the twelve elven ladies we had to bring to satiate his hunger. "Elendar", "elendar" (continue)
was he saying, and we kept travelling, deeper and deeper into the foggy pass. We went through
the civilized western towns to the farthest keep in the eastern, knowed as barovia to deal with the
malefic but wise Xolt
