Role
The origin of Lylesse
Added Wed Jan 13 04:52:04 2010 at level 13:
Lylesse was born, the eldest daughter of a rich Voralian Merchant.
Unlike her siblings, she did not seem to embrace the life of a
merchant's daughter, forsaking lounging about in their large mansion
for walking alone, by herself in the woods.
As she reach the age of maturity, her family finally turned upon her,
scorned her for her different ways, and shunned her, to the point she
decided to leave home once and for all.
Upon leaving, she decided to forsake all the ways of the city dwellers
and embrace her life as one with the wilds.
The beliefs, political and religious
Added Wed Jan 13 04:58:06 2010 at level 13:
Lylesse seeks to find a place in the Ancient tree of the
Outlanders of Thar-Eris, she wishes to smash the stone walls down
of the vile cities, those whose walls strangle the lands and choke
out the skies.
Religiously, Lylesse follows the path of spirit, she calls It, Urtrekis, the
one she follows. She believes that each and everytime one dies
and is reborn in their body, without their spirit moving on, both
the spirit and the body become weaker and weaker.
Eventually this cycle, shall lead one nowhere, for the spirit and body
shall both die and one shall never have a chance to move on to the
great beyond.
She strives to take care of her vessel and make her spirit strong enough
so as to finally shake off her mortal coil and move beyond.
She wishes to be a Breaker, releasing the souls of the strong in
an attempt to grant Urtrekis the chance to usher them to the beyond
and break the cycle of rebirth for them.
A child of Urtrekis...

Many go through life, fighting to maintain the safety of
their person. They seek to protect a weak vessel which is mostly made
up of water. They hide behind this water sack and never realize
the true fight is for their soul.
Many fall during this time, and each time their soul is returned to this vessel.
Many do not realize this occurs, much less why it occurs.
It occurs because they are too weak, their souls do not have the strength
to break free from this mortal weakness, and pass beyond, to the other side.
Their souls cling to their weakness, perhaps in fear, perhaps thinking they
are stronger in this prison. Regardless of the reasoning, they are weak.
A Breaker... A Breaker attempts to end this cycle with the aid of It.
A Breaker releases a soul in an attempt to give It, a chance to show this soul
the Great Beyond. Many souls do not even realize how strong they are due to
this "weakness" of the flesh.
A Breaker does not fear death, They embrace it, for it is a chance for themselves to
pass beyond and never return to their prison. For everytime a soul returns
to it's body, both are made weaker.. it is a cycle that can and must be broken.
The Ancients..

Lylesse seeks a place in the tree, being a Priestess of Nature, she
is a bit more attune to the feelings of the world. She can hear the scream of
the trees as a Horde of Orcs, mercilessly cut them down.
She hears the moaning of the world as the vile mages known as Necromancers
and Conjurers are followed by being which do not belong in this world or plane.
She hears the pleading of the souls trapped in the weapons of the Stealer, begging
to be released to get their chance to be escorted to the other side.
The dirt shouts in fury as the Duergs and Dwarves plunder her sweet bussom.
The screams of women raped haunt her dreams as these Horse-Man abominations take
their plunder.
The land pleads for aid, as the slavers, try to drown her out slashing scars and ploping
stone mountains upon her, trying to suffocate her.
And the bowels of Thera, tremble as Dark mages, attempt to conjure dark magics so
they may indulge their greed.
This is what the Ancients have seen happen to the world they molded after they awoken
from their long slumber.
This is the plague that must be wiped from this world, or we shall find a world
that cannot even embrace the true power... The power of free choice.
The directions the wind blows....

Having proven herself as an alpha in the pack, the
Ancient have entrusted the strength of the tree
into the hands of Lylesse, a responsibility she took
willingly and greatfully. Lylesse sees herself as
the spirit of the Tree, the spirit of a hunter,
A lone wolf in front the pack, nipping the ears of
cubs when necessary. Lylesse never claim to be the
strongest or best hunter, but combined with her persistence,
She make a strong foe.
She also has endured more then some Harbingers in the past..
Lylesse has watched over all three branches of the tree..
There was one Nightreaver, who was so weak in spirit, he
completely gave up on life... Something Lylesse's spirit
is too strong to ever do, give up.
The strength of one's spirit...
Added Sat Mar 20 07:03:31 2010 at level 51:
The strength of one's spirit is a factor that most do not even seem to worry of.
Though it can literally mean the difference between life or death.
If one has a strong spirit, then before their body gives way, they shall
be able to make the journey through the Great Beyond. If one's spirit is too
weak to make such a journey, then their spirit too, shall fade away as their
aging body does.
But, there is also a difference between strength and true strength. I have witnessed many
merely attack everyone they come across, any time they see them, for no reason.
Although, this may make one's spirit "appear" strong, it is not a true strength.
True strength comes from many things, Hunting alone, Hunting strong in spirit and
having the will power to leave those alone, who could barely defend themselves from
a heavy rain.
Although, I have broken those weaker in spirit, it is because of their affiliations and
their actions that have prompted this. And I never continually hunt down the same ones
over and over again simply to keep breaking so that my spirit may seem stronger. Such
is nothing but a Wizard's trick and leads one to falsely believe in themselves.

Many hunters have been given branches, under my words... At times, I hope the
choices I have made, please the Ancients. I also trimmed the branch of Ziri, for
He did nothing but take up space. Our tree has plenty of birds perched in it, we need no more.
I seek to end the rein of the slavers, and let the land take what is rightfully
hers back.. But take down the spire? Such a monstrous stone building, how could one
even accomplish this?
As a Wise one, once said.. The spire is made of blocks, all blocks mortared together
must have seams, and it is these seams that are it's weakness.
I plan to see our influence, act as a growing vine would. This vine shall grow
wrapping around the spire, starting at the base and stretching to the sunlight.
As this vine grows, it shall branch off, into many small tendrils which shall begin slowly,
proving at these joints of mortar, until one day they are weakened enough..
The look of horror upon the face of the one's inside, as their precious prison, comes crashing
down upon top of them in a sound akin to lightning striking...
Right next to you.
