Description
Before you stands a malevolent figure, draped in dark, shadowy robes that
seem to absorb the light around him. His eyes burn with a sinister red
glow, and a small, ominous mark beneath his left eye hints at dark pacts
made. His pointy nose and pallid skin add to his unsettling appearance.
Long, curling hair, recently brushed, cascades to his shoulders. Around
his waist, a belt bristles with arcane tomes and sinister wands. His
fingers are unnaturally long, tipped with razor sharp nails, suggesting
a human twisted by dark, forbidden magics.

Early life

Malavyn Thaeras was born in the quiet village just south of Hamash city.
In a valley surrounded by ancient forests and mist covered hills. Hamsah
was a place where time seemed to stand still, untouched by the impressions
of the larger world. The village was small, but its inhabitants were known
for their wisdom and deep connection to nature. Eldric Thaeras, Malavyns
father, where a healer, known for his knowledge of herbs and his gentle touch
that could mend the most grievous wounds. His mother Liora, where a scholar
with an large curiosity for ancient history and the arcane magics.
From a very young age, Malavyn showed a keen intellect and a boundless
curiosity. He spent hours poring over his mothers books, absorbing tales
of long forgotten civilizations and their mystical practices. His father
recognizing his potential, taught him the healing arts hoping he would
follow in his footsteps. Malavyns childhood was idyllic and filled with
the laughter of friends and the wisdom of his parents.
Dark turn in his life

One stormy night while he explored the basement of his family home, he
stumbled upon a hidden door concealed behind a stack of old crates.
Curiosity piqued, he forced the door open and descended into a secret
chamber. There in the dim light of a flickering torch, he discovered
an ancient tome bound in human skin. The air in the room was thick
with an unnatural chill, and Malavyn felt an inexplicable pull towards
the book.
The tome was filled with cryptic symbols and incantations, describing
rituals and spells of necromancy. Despite the warnings inscribed on its
cover, Malavyn could not resist the allure of its forbidden knowledge.
He began to study the book in secret, captivated by the promise of
power over life and death. His obsession grew, and he spent every
spare moment examing the tomes secrets, neglecting his duties and
distancing himself from his family and friends.
Malavyns experiments with necromancy started with the raising of a
dead bird and reanimating a withered plant. But as his confidence
and ambition grew, so did the scope of his experiments.
One fateful night, driven by a desire to prove his mastery, he performed
a ritual from the tome that was far beyond his control. The spell
backfired, unleashing a dark energy that swept through Hamsah and
the nearby villages, raising the dead from their graves.
Panic and chaos ensued as the undead ravaged the village. Despite his
desperate attempts to regain control, Malavyns powers were insufficient
to stop the carnage. His parents, Eldric and Liora, were among the
casualties, and the survivors blamed Malavyn for the catastrophe.
Branded a monster and a murderer, he was cast out of the vilage, left to
wander the world with nothing but the clothes on his back and the
cursed tome that had ruined his life.
Following years

For the next few years, Malavyn walked the land as an outcast, haunted
by the memories of his failed experiment and the deaths it caused. He
sought refuge in the darkest corners of the world, far from the reach
of civilization. In his solitude, he continued to study the necromantic
tome, driven by a burning desire to master it for his past and to
understand the true nature of death.
During his travels, Malavyn encountered other practitioners of dark magic
such as other necromancers, dark knights and sorcerers who had also been
cast out by society. Some became his mentors, while others saw him as a rival.
He learned new spells, refined his techniques and gradually built a reputation
as a powerful and feared necromancer. Despite his growing power, he remained
tormented by his past and driven by a desire for redemption.
Vision of Malavyn

One night while meditating in the ruins of an ancient temple, Malavyn had a vision.
He saw a world where necromancy was not feared but encouraged, and where those who
wielded its power were not outcasts but rulers. He envisioned an empire where the
dead served the living, and where he could finally find redemption by mastering
the very forces that had once destroyed him. This vision ignited a new purpose
within him, and he would create this army and unite the scattered dark practitioners
under his banner.
With his vision clear, Malavyn set out to gather allies and resources. He traveled
to the remote corners of the world, seeking out other necromancers, dark mages, and
those who had been shunned by society. He promised them power, protection, and a place
in his envisioned empire. Slowly but surely he built a following, forming a council of
powerful dark practitioners who shared his vision.
Dark citadel and chosing the empire
Added Thu Jul 25 00:41:30 2024 at level 17:
To solidify his power, Malavyn established a church known as the Dark Citadel in the heart
of a desolate wasteland, far from the reach of his enemies forces. The Citadel became a
haven for those who practiced the dark arts and a symbol of Malavyns growing influence.
It was fortified with powerful wards, undead guardians, and dark enchantments that made
it nearly impregnable. From the Citadel, Malavyn began to consolidate his power and plan
his next moves.
Despite his deep mistrust of the established order, Malavyn realized that to truly achieve
his vision, he needed to engage with the empire. The empire represented structure, resources
and a vast population that could be harnessed to his cause. Malavyn decided that rather than
opposing the empire directly, he would work to infiltrate it, gain influence from within, and
eventually reshape it to fit his vision.
Influence and dreadlord.

Malavyn aimed to infiltrate the highest ranks of the empire, using his dark arcane knowledge
to gain the favor of high status persons. By positioning himself as a valuable ally, he planned
to influence decisions and policies from within. To Malavyn's surprise he is the newly apointed
Dreadlord, and this make Malavyn push his plans forwards. He will soon descend to spectre and
begin planning his becomming. Malavyn still toggle between vampyre and mummy, wondering which one
will be the better choice.
Malavyn knew that his pla ns would be a long and arduous one. He needed to be patient, strategic
and ruthless. Each small victory brought him closer to his ultimate goal a world where necromancy
was not feared but praised, and where he could finally find redemption for his past.
