Description
The being before you gives new meaning to the word 'ugly'.
She, if it is indeed a woman, appears some half-breed, closest
perhaps to the drow, though whatever the ancestry, the product
is a repulsive thing. Her thin lips twisted into a sneer, a
pair of putrid yellowish-green eyes dart about with a steely
gaze. A motley assortment of robes and straps of leather adorn
her body, the skin left exposed is splotchy and scarred. She
carries no visible weapons which implies a reliance on magics
of some sort.
Role
The Filth
Added Wed Sep 12 23:20:25 2007 at level 43:
A bloodcurdling scream shatters the silence of the woods. A
child born upon a stump to a handful of fathers and a wretched
woman. Her existence is as a pitiful imbecile, unfit for anything
but providing pleasures of the flesh to anyone with coin or a free
meal. There is fear in her eyes as she sees the bloody child she
has carried these long months. Her livelihood at stake, she ignores
the babe's cries and stumbles to the river nearby. As her
consciousness fades, she rolls the child down the bank and into the
frigid waters. A wicked smile curls her lips even as the fog of
exhaustion descends.
The Promise
Added Thu Nov 15 22:23:55 2007 at level 51:
"Unto you will come a gift of great power. Your barren existence
will be no more and you shall witness beauty the realms have never
known. You shall receive all that you deserve."
The village elder shudders as the prophetic trance ends. The man,
a hearty blacksmith, cannot contain his joy and whoops in delight,
snatching the elder up in his massive arms just as the tears of
relief begin to stain his cheeks. At last, he thinks to himself,
at long last we will have a child.
The Little Princess

Their daughter was every bit the prodigy. Not a day went by that
they did not thank the late elder for his blessing of prophecy.
The girl was everything they could have desired. She walked with
the poise and grace of royalty, yet possessed the mind of the
wisest sage and studied the ways of the warrior with the masters.
They could not possibly be happier and so name her "Joy".
