Description
A large, hulking beast with shiny black hair is here. His septum
is pierced with a large ring, as bulls wear. His nostrils flare largely
with every breath he expels into a fuming cloud of mist. His long black
mane starts nearly 7 feet from the ground. His head resembles that of a bovi
It sits squarely on large, muscular shoulders, framed up against
an every larger trunk. He's big, thick and black.. Very big for
Theran standards. His arm is branded with what appears to be
ancient symbols, none of which you comprehend the meaning of, except
for the faint outline of a hornet around the brands.
His eyes are pitch black, shiny and wet appearing.. you can almost see
things around you in them.. His skin looks shiny, and well bathed.

Born and bred to follow his father's hoof prints, Merlah was raised
to fight along side the human of Modan. He took quickly to the sword
given to him by his father, and watched with a careful eye, the city
streets of Modan. Althou he performed trivial and remedial tasks
in his watch of Modan, he felt unfulfilled. One day while cleaning
the black swords of his human counterparts, he overheard a commotion.
Springing to action, he snatched his sword, and hurried to find
an elf, with his hands still smoldering.. in tiny bits on the road.
The dismembered corpse was surrounded by three dark figures.
As Merlah's eye raised from the smoldering corpse, he took gaze on them.
Slowly turning and dropping their hoods, Merlah was surprised to see
a minotaur, betwixt a human, and duergar. All three of which wore
Imperical clothing of a Shaman. The minotaur snapped and the two others
came to attention. He shouted something in common tongue and they quickly
gathered up the elf's possessions. As quickly as they snapped up the garb,
they turned for the woods, struggling to pull the weight, and not daring
to even raise their eyes to meet the minotaur's, whom obviously was in command.
Merlah stammered, 'They... they let you fight with them?' and the minotaur
spoke, "I'm in charge of them.", he snarled. The shaman glanced over
Merlah with steely eyes. "Come here, cow." Merlah approached him
apprehensively, and managed to stammer out "Ye,ye,yes, sir?" as he
snapped to a salute. The shaman chortled at his amusing
antics. "I have much to teach you, mumble tounge."
Many weeks followed with the repeated visits by the Imperical shaman.
With each visit, be brought Merlah a new scalp, and told him of the
crimes against the Lord Khasotholas, the previous owner had commited.
He learned of the Order, brought by an iron fist of the Emperor, led
by The Hornet. He taught Merlah the lessons gave to him by the Lord
and the Empire. He taught him of the foes whom stand to oppress the
Order the Empire and his Lord gives to Therans. The ways of his guild
came quickly to Merlah, as he took to study under Lord Khasotholas,
and serve the Empire. For months Merlah studied this craft, and soon,
he felt prepared. Redied as he was, he left the cityguard to find
his rightful place in the Empire, and serve his new found Lord.
Faith.

Faith. Faith dripped from the lips of the Hornet, like ale from
a drunk gully dwarfs lips. "Faith is the backbone, of the Empire."
Merlah set fourth to reinforce the Empires coffers, and to bring
Faith to the lips and ears of the Empire. Re-inforcing the word
to those whom already give homage the Lord Khasotholas, and blessing
the ears of those who never Believed.
Buzzing the Ears of the Empire...

Feeling well arrived, and accepted in the Empire, Merlah quickly
learned the laws of the lands. The Codex he held dear, the sect
he loves. The coffers overfilled as Merlah quickly took the sect
to new levels in donations. The ears of all those near rang with
words of faith, in the presence of his Lord. His Lord, the Hornet
of the Hive, the great ivoker of Society. All those who oppose
his words, give way to the haste of which his Will spreads.
Taking note of the wealth of coffers fill, and his attentivness to
keeping his sect hall clean, the High Priest took note of the
elevation of the Sect, and the Presence of his Lord's will amoungst
the lips of the sects. Darkness and Order was fulfulling it's destiny
in the heart of a young minotaur from Modan.
