Role
The Influence of a Mother.
Added Sat Nov 9 20:39:10 2013 at level 10:
Mirozah Barra'cres last name was born within one of the wealthiest
houses of Teth-Azeleth. Her mother, a well respected and regarded prophet,
would often tell the fortunes and futures of the houses of Teth-Azeleth.
This was not always done for the fare of gems or riches, but the hefty
price of influence among the houses.
Her mother used deception, subterfuge, and a clever mind to slowly,
silently, and without detection, create a sphere of influence
that reached all the way to the Matron, Ahdremiel. The ever watchful and
deadly Oziloth kept watch over her physically, but could never fully
match the subtle plans of the ageless houses.
Mirozah watched as her mother endlessly worked her plans. Watched
silently for decades as she laid roots in every house in the city.
Mirozah always knew that true power could not be limited to a city,
or influence, or some false power gained by climbing some fabricated
social structure. She did not know how she knew, but as young as she
was, she had felt power surging through her body. She wanted more.
Not some limited social status among the houses, or some pathetic
game played by the members within.
Real power could not be gained in such a way.
She left Teth-Azeleth in search of the strength behind the shadows,
the power behind the veil, and the destiny that she knew awaited her.
Children in the Dark.
Added Wed Nov 13 08:54:09 2013 at level 25:
It's almost too easy, Mirozah thought to herself. These Therans
trust so quickly, and believe anything which leaves your lips.
Like children, they are so easy to control; But they do make
wonderful slaves. Orcs, Imperials, Warders, Tribunal, Nexites..
They all flock to me, grasping at my power like children grasping for candy.
They do not understand what real power is, they do not see the darkness
beyond their simple understanding of it. They cannot feel the power
beneath it. And so they cower from the night, huddled together in fear,
their solidarity against their own ignorance is merely amusing.
Mirozah did meet one whom seemed to call forth the shadows. A minotaur
Shaman. At his side a creature of the dark to do his bidding. Mirozah
was amused by his constantly conflict with those whom could so easily
be made to serve him.
He brought forth the shadows too soon. Too eager to grasp at it's secrets.
It would have been so delightful to watch the bull develop the betrayal further.
How enjoyable it would have been to tear their souls asunder from within.
To so easily manipulate them into his will, and cast them aside in a single motion.
Yes. What a wonderful ploy to observe and command from the darkness,
the unseen mistress of the world. And then, to bring forth the night.
A meeting with the Chancellor. Dead Warders.
Added Fri Nov 15 18:43:15 2013 at level 38:
Have you ever looked into the darkness, and thought you could
see a shimmer, just beyond your reach. So real, but elusive to your
touch.
This thought began the conversation between Mirozah and the chancellor.
A sleeper from the Shadows. Her and Zhenyen spoke of their mutual goals,
and that she was not yet ready to unveil her true nature. There was
still more subterfuge to lay, and more betrayal to sow.
Zhenyen parted ways by bestowing her some shiny baubles which
she accepted. Such things only aid her in bringing forth an everlasting
darkness.
Mirozah brought Foedett, and Voszoad into the dream to learn for a
bit. She informed them both that the power she granted has a price.
The price is blood. Yet, they did not realize it would be their blood.
Moments before she planned to spring her trap, fortune struck and Voszoad
died to a guard. Mirozah could have easily opened the door, but instead
let the guard take the final blow. Foedett, injured from the ensuing battle
slept, and Mirozah struck while he slept, twisting his body violently.
The sickening crunch of the warders bones brought such satisfaction to
Mirozah. Her betrayal complete, she helped herself to their belongings;
their anger and rising hatred oh so enjoyable to her.
Now to go and play with some Imperials.
A Bridge to Build
Added Mon Dec 2 13:57:45 2013 at level 51:
Mirozah's power has continued to grow. Each time she calls forth
a forsaken portal, she gazes at what beckons to her from beyond
it's wavering surface. She wondered - the power that opens the portal
here is possessed within the dark enchantments of the ebony scepter.
The Ccul'gra come at our beckon, and with the promise of blood, and
power, they serve us for a time.
One thing Mirozah had learned from her mother. The one truth of
deception, is in order for it to work - the one being deceived must
be blinded by a benefit they wish more than the pain of the risk they
barely perceive. In deception, the ultimate ploy requires one being
completely blindsided by your will, while you thought you furthered
their own.
What if the power to open the portal to the shadow plane were matched
by the Ccul'gra themselves? If they were given incentive enough, they
would seek to create a permanent bond to our plane. Yes. A bridge
through the inter planar space to reach Thera.
Mirozah feels perhaps something to whet their appetite would be
an appropriate start. She has planned to gather a sampling of
the blood of every common race of Thera. Arial, Cloud, Dark-Elf,
Duerg, Dwarf, Elf, Felar, Fire, Gnome, Half-Drow, Half-Elf, Human,
Orc, Storm, Svirf, and Wood-elf. Their deaths would have to be the
most gruesome and violent deaths. Their bodies twisted and torn
from the inside out. Their blood, imbued with a type
of dark sorcery Mirozah still researches, will bind to the minds
of the Ccul'gra. She seeks to alter their minds and memories
sufficiently to make them lust for it even more so.
Her Theory is that their lust for carnage and power will create
a stream of negative energy to not only spill over in to the prime
plane, but enable a psyche connection to the ebony scepter. This will
enable a binding between the shadow plane, and the prime plane.
The Ccul'gra will flood this plane, and search out all those not
connected to the scepter, primed by the elixir Mirozah has created.
Mirozah seeks the council of the Chancellor, but has not seem Zhenyen
for quite some time. Perhaps his inter planar abilities would be useful
in Mirozah's endevour.
In any event, Mirozah feels she is clearly the best choice for Advisor,
at least until Zhenyen passes from this realm. She wants to complete
this task before he does yet. If the portal requires an additional surge
of inter planar arcane energy, perhaps Zhenyen would make a suitable sacrifice.
Influence.
Added Tue Dec 17 16:10:25 2013 at level 51:
As my influence within the chasm continues to grow, I find I am sought
out by many more a scholar. They have witnessed my own brutality, and
my endless bounty onto them. Our enemies flee upon sight of me, their
courage and hope sapped from them, as sure as a ruptured vessel shall
spill it's prize.
I test those whom would pledge to the Chasm, most incompetent and unfit
to research within it. I care not for their unintelligent drivel, and
even less so for those whom do not share my blood.
I continue to advice the Chancellor on the comings and goings within,
and out of the chasm. I believe I shall advise him next to remove the
Shaman Drogthar. He occupies valuable space within, and there is another
whom researches a magic which would compliment my own greatly.
Recently, I had desecrated the bath water of the Immortal Patron of the
Nexus, Rayihn. The Ccul'gra defiling her pools, and destroying stone.
I informed the Immortal I shall have my servant, Turmi, her handyman,
cleanse the pools, as he is in debt to me severely. To which she responded
in spite, anger, and jealousy. I plan on placing Turmi's head on her Throne
as a gift, to show what her 'love' has brought her. A useless and pathetic
emotion.
So easy to rouse the emotions of others. Most are pathetic petulant children,
grasping onto whatever teet of power they can. In Mirozah's experience, most
either run and cower in fear, or do their best to earn her favor. Some amuse
her, and those whom do not, she has run other plans of intrigue.
The Imp has seen fit to brand her with a mark of a Gaping Maw. She enjoyed
the torment, almost as much as the Imp enjoyed the placing of such things
upon her body. Now it appears she has two Gaping Maws, one beneath her
leggings, the other branded upon her chest. As she has matured, her body
has changed with her.
Mirozah's Appearance is now:
The tall and enigmatic looking woman seems to glide across the
ground. Her hair is tied tightly behind her head, bound with
straps of leather and twists of carved iron. Tied around her
neck is a length of rope with a darkened iron clasp on the end of it.
It looks surprisingly like a leash.
The deep opaqueness of her eyes seem to create an uneasy feeling
around her, as if something was not as it should be. Her once unadorned
skin has been marked with several runes, seared and angry looking. A rather
gargantuan, intricately carved gaping maw rests upon the center of her
chest, just below her suprasternal notch. Her deep ebony skin looks like a
flawless opal in the right type of light as Mirozah's power surges
from within.
III. _A Bridge to the Shadow Plane_

My Own Research, Beyond the Simple Categorization of the Ccul'gra.
Notes to the Chancellor and Lord Reksah
III. _A Bridge to the Shadow Plane_
Dark Lord and Chancellor,
My research has continued splendidly. I have contemplated a simple
truth. What if the lust for this plane were matched by the Ccul'gra
themselves? If they were given incentive enough, their negative
energy from the shadow plane could be used to create a permanent
bond to our plane. A bridge through inter planar space to reach
the Prime Plane.
Perhaps, something to whet their appetite would be an appropriate
start. I've begun to gather a sampling of blood from every common
race of Thera. Arial, Cloud, Dark-Elf, Duerg, Dwarf, Elf, Felar,
Fire, Gnome, Half-Drow, Half-Elf, Human, Orc, Storm, Svirf, and
Wood-elf.
Their deaths would have to be gruesome and violent, so the most
potent of fear and pain hormone is released into their blood
before their death.
Their blood shall be imbued with a nuero-enchantment I still research.
The purpose, would be to bend the minds of the Ccul'gra. To alter
their memories ever so slightly to make them lust for blood and
power ever slightly more so.
My theory, is this lust for carnage and power, will create a stream of
negative energy to not only spill over in to the prime plane, but enable
a psyche connection to the ebony scepter. This will enable a binding
between the shadow plane and prime plane. The Ccul'gra will flood this
plane, and fervently search out all those not connected to the scepter.
Chancellor, I have advised you of my continued research. I require your
inter planar knowledge in order to continue further.

IV. _A Connection is Felt_
Added Tue Dec 17 16:15:43 2013 at level 51:
My own research, continued.
IV. _A Connection is Felt_
Dark Lord and Chancellor,
My power has grown significantly, as has my ability to shape and twist the
mortals of this plane. Even the gods are subject to my torments and
deceptions. My ability to invoke rage, fear, anger, jealousy, and spite
aside, my collection of the most fertile blood has gone exceedingly well.
The blood of Arials, Giants of all types, Duerg, Dwarf, Gnomes, Half-Breeds,
Humans, Svirf, and Wood-elves have been collected; Having suffered the most
excruciating and painful deaths. The terror frozen within their pale faces,
their own entrails spewed forth in bubbled gurgles from their own sneering
faces. Snapped bone and gristle protruding from their cracked and torn flesh.
My perfection of my own body has led me to greater understanding of their
own, and with an effective incantation of augmentation of their blood,
I've been able to amplify this potency of terror and fear.
As I call forth the portal into the shadow plane, I have baited the most
fearsome of Ccul'gra to the prime plane using this enchanted blood. I feel
them beyond the wavering suppleness of the portal, their desire to be
unleashed onto this realm is clear to me... Yet I've not discovered the
dark energy yet to permit them through.
I shall continue my research into the energy of the Scepter, and my
connection to it, as I continue to perfect my own blood ritual.
More death is needed, more blood is required for my research. I will
continue to advise you to my progress.

Deception, Manipulation, Lies, and Goals.
Added Tue Dec 31 16:05:03 2013 at level 51:
Manipulation is a simple matter. Find out what one wants, and use
it against them. Utilize deception and concealment to gain in power.
Lie, deceive, and speak each word to those you seek to gain from as if
it was the most important word in the entirely of the world.
Each word, designed to bring the speaker power, advantage, or gain.
Against the Acolyte, ply against them their sense of mercy.
Against the Nexite, ply against them their sense of protection.
Against the Imperial, ply their lust for political power.
Against those seeking power, offer reward for obedience.
It is a simple formula, one I've used countless times with success.
Turmi, my most useful Nexun slave was turned against me by his bitch
Patron. A watery tart with a sword, clearly jealous of my use of her
little henchmen. I've noticed, since her ploy, that he has awoken
less, and enjoys his life much less, and cowers beneath the guardians
of the Isle when he sees me about. So wondrous. I've enjoyed how her
'love' has made him a ruin. His inner torment is delicious, and his
destruction without a single spell upon his body, a victory.
I hope to find his body impaled upon his own sword, a suicide of wondrous
joy. That, or his painful regression into a life spent in slavery.
Either would do. Clearly, his love has prevailed.
The newly minted Dreadlord, Nighden, has proven a useful tool as well.
After I slaughtered him like a fat cow on the eastern road, he has
stayed mostly clear of me. I have offered him to feel the power of my
soul, and to make his 'competition' within the Imperial Order seem weak
and pathetic. This is easy enough to do, as they cower from me.
To this end, he has agreed to hold his blade when I attack others he
travels with, or appear unable to strike me. Provide me with information
of Imperials, and, essentially, betray the empire he seeks to control.
Obviously, he shall never feel the power of my soul. But, Until the point
that deception is revealed, it will be too late.
I continue to earn the awe and fear of those within the chasm. Most bend
to my will for fear of angering me, I believe. The Chancellor knows of my
worth, and I know will see my value as his advisor.
I look forward to seeing that the half-breed bitch Laeliana does
pay for her ignorance, and her audacity to believe she has any control
over one so much greater than her. Pathetic.
Research Part V. _Holes In the Prime Plane_

V. _Holes in the Prime Plane_
My Research has continued, and I have penned of it to Zhenyen and
Lord Reksah.
As my collection efforts have gone so well, I've collected
vast quantities of the requisite primed blood of beings of the
Prime Plane. I've moved my research forward, to discovering
a place within this land where the boundaries to the shadow
plane are thinned, and susceptible to my alteration.
My augmented blood ritual has the power to sufficiently entice
a Crk'Than of significant power. I can sense their power rippling
just beyond the portals I've created. A measurable difference.
Having completed my research of this augmented blood ritual, I
have begun to preform the ritual at various places I believe to have
been sufficiently thinned. This thinning of our plane permits a greater
ease of the Ccul'gra to cross from the shadow plane, to the prime plane.
I've searched the Azuremain within the darkness, Mathien, and several
others locations.
I will continue to research more and advise you of my ability to summon a
greater Ccul'gra across the planar boundaries.
Drogtar's Demise - The Unholy Sword
Added Wed Jan 8 06:04:44 2014 at level 51:
Drogtar has annoyed Mirozah for quite some time. The inane
babble which escapes it?Aos flabby mouth has tried her patience
for too long. Whatever delitescent talents Drogtar might have
had would have long ago been discovered.
He spreads his blood about the land haphazardly, without concern
for the secrets he might let loose upon his dying breath. He
shows weakness of the chasm, and has become a pity to it?Aos halls.
An insane fool to be laughed upon. Worthless to Mirozah.
It is Mirozah?Aos intent to destroy this creature, one way or another.
Since she has not the power to outright cast him out, she has found
a way to kill him slowly before her eyes.
It is no secret Drogtar feels ignored by Mirozah. While she spreads
bounty and gifts upon the others of the Chasm, nothing is given to
Drogtar.
Until this exception. Mirozah had gone into Trothon, and spent her
precious resource to obtain the Unholy Sword of Zurcon. She had made
Drogtar understand that it was not a gift, but one which was to be
earned with blood in order to please her and earn her graces.
Drogtar?Aos promise not to fail Mirozah pleased her, as he wielded the
blade. Mirozah promised the more the blade bit into it?Aos enemies, the
stronger it would become, and he should never unwield the blade, lest
it be angry, and withdraw it?Aos power.
She will enjoy watching the slow torment of his body as he withers away
before it?Aos unholy might. Oh, how wondrous. A wonderful deception.
A Chancellor's Revelation - Oh, and Zhenyen.
Added Wed Jan 8 06:14:11 2014 at level 51:
Zhenyen's words, 'Scholars. The end is near, not to Thera.
But of a dream long held by a shadow from afar,' Echoed through
Mirozah's mind. From the moment the Eye of the Scarab had told
the nightmare that a flame had been found, there was no doubt in
her mind the flame was Zhenyen. She knew this, because it was not her.
The Chancellor's Tiny One, had bid farewell to Mirozah in a strange
way, upon his last bit of service to Zhenyen. His worn and decimated
body used up in service to the Chancellor.
Yet, is this not the purpose of the Ccul'gra? To string them along
with a glimpse of greatness; a glimpse of power; a promise of blood
and carnage. Perhaps just enough to bait the beasts which will best
serve our purpose. Yes, this is the essence of the Nightmare's blood
ritual. The purpose of her collection - to bait a greater Ccul'gra into
her service. For her own power.
Mirozah's realization, then, was the only reason Zhenyen would
leave this great power - the only reason Zhenyen could split his
essence from that of the ebony scepter - is if there was no intention,
at all, to open the portal. The power he could grasp from the shadow plane, he had done so.
This is a secret which must be kept from the other Scions, they being
far lesser than Mirozah in both mind, talent, and . . . commitment,
to her research.
There are none else worthy to lead the chasm than her. This knowledge
must be concealed, and the deception must continue, so the scions will
continue to serve her own purposes. Grasping at her for power as they always do.
She has sought the gaze of Reksah, whom has been silent thus far.
