Description

Large are the cloud giants that exist in the lands of Thera, and this one represents one of the largest. He is bulky and wild looking, covered in what one can only say is primitive and haunting armorments and war paint. His eyes are crazied with the reflection of your light source, while his wild white and gray hair flaps insanely in the blowing elements. His massive blue lips are chapped and cracked with small dribbling rivlets of whitish-blue blood spattering everywhere as the wild cloud giant howls and grunts. Coating his primal armors are brightly colored war paints of all hues and depths. Void looking blacks, olive colored greens, bright blood red marks shading across his flesh. His overall visage is finalized with the clanking of bones and skulls haphazardly attached in various locations, creating an auditory experience not unlike a wind chime.

Role

Dreams and Stories of the Violet Spider

A very young cloud giant, born in the clouds of the Tahril Mountains,
continually asked his parents about their heritage. Their stories contained
a very scary story about how cloud giants were cursed to fear the Gods
and the unholy by the Violet Spider. A curse brought upon them because
of the actions so long ago during the Chaos and Order wars. Thousands of
years have passed since then, and Mojabosombo continues to ask why.

Finally, Mojabosombo's parents stopped answering the "why" question because
there was really nothing left they could explain. The histories were
vague enough that there was nothing left. This was not satisfactory
to Mojabosombo. This cloud giant grew up with an endless obsession
with their history and how this curse came to be, and ultimately how
to get it removed.

What his parents did know is that the cloud giants needed to find a
place within the Cycle of Thar-Eris. Their isolation in the Tahril
Mountains were specific to avoid interactions with the city and all
the problems society has. So Mojabosombo grew up with the influence
of Thar-Eris and the Cycle as part of every day life. Thus there
was no single event that drove Mojabosombo to the Tree, instead it
is what he knows, and always known. It is ingrained within him.

Questing with Sticks to Remove the Curse for the Cycle

Once Mojabosombo came to age, he sought to quest out begin to learn
the ways of the warrior. Unfortunately Mojabosombo is quite simple
and the only weapons he found true kinship with were "Sticks". He
always used staffs, and spears, and polearms, but to this giant
they were all simply "Sticks" or versions of them. One would be
a "Not Sharp Stick" or a "Sharp Stick" or a "Long Stick". As he
continues to grow up, he continues to focus on those and those will
ultimately be the weapons he chooses to specialize in. 

Next, Mojabosombo fundementally believes that the Curse of the
Violet Spider is outside the Cycle. That this curse has existed
upon cloud giants as a scourge foreign to their natural origins.
This kind of curse needs to be removed and that is what Mojabosombo's
goal is. To find a way to remove it not only from himself but
from ALL of cloud giant kind. This action would remove a massive
corruption upon Thar-Eris by removing it.

The Colors, Finding the Violet in the Rainbow

Just recently, Mojabosombo found a version of the Violet Spider
within the land of Dreams, Organia. He tried to talk to it
and tried to interact with it. He tried to convince and talk
with it to have it raise the curse, but the being never
responded. He sought possibly slaying it but the fear cursed
upon his flesh made him think twice for now. 

He has found the Violet, but now doesn't know what to do...

Is the next step to please the Violet Spider? A being that has
not reared its existence in thousands of years? Is this the
creature to please or is this the being to slay? Should
Mojabosombo use force, or please the being, he simply doesn't
know and will use his time on the lands to try to find a
clear path.

Finding the Tree and Embracing the Cycle

Mojabosombo has satisfied his first true desire since he
left his isolation in the Tahril Mountains. Alendross found
him as he traveled the deserts learning his "sticks" and
after much conversation was brought to the Tree. There
Alendross called to Thar-Eris and in return came an answer
in the form of lightning striking a nearby tree and shattering
it. Alendross saw that as a true sign of Mojabosombo's
future and brought him into the Tree as a Sentinel. The next
steps is asking Alendross and others who know history of the
lands what the next steps will be.

Para-elements and the Colors

Mojabosombo embraces the Para-elements because of his truly
neutral and chaotic nature. Mojabosombo sees the lands in
colors, and not always simple colors, but colors marred and
smeared within eachother. As with the curse of the Violet
Spider, there is the Red of the Reavers, and the Black
of the bad (necromancers and anti-paladins), and Yellow
of the sun. Mojabosombo continually refers to the lands
in colors and how they mix together. 

Mojabosombo is not attune with divinity enough to actually comprehend
the religious aspects of the para-elements. This is representation
of his true simplicity.

The Cycle Provides Allies, Delkinen, Night of Tales

In a circle within the thorn tree of the Outlanders, a ranger
calls for the stories of all of the kin of the Tree. Mojabosombo
being a simple creature, spoke up first, excited to tell the
story of the sky clouds, the curse, the Violet Spider, and
the betrayal. Mojabosombo told the history and his quest
to find a way to lift the curse on all sky clouds. Many
of those gathered listend carefully, even the great Divine
Ergush. 
When Mojabosombo finished the story, he expected no reaction,
as many have dismissed the sky cloudy as foolish or dumb.
But something uplifting happened instead. Many of the gathered
circle, of all branches from Reavers to Wardens, offered their
full help in assisting in the quest. The avian ranger Warden
offered it freely, as did the great and old Alendross, the
Harbringer. Elebe, the druid, and then followed by the Reaver
transmuter dark elf. Many others nodded in agreement, and there
in that moment, Mojabosombo knew he was in the right place.

Mojabosombo quest continues, but now with many behind him.
Renewed with a strength he did not know before, he steps
forward now into the next step of his journey and with
almost divine purpose with an army of the Cycle.

Finding the Violet Spider | Continued

Mojabosombo has attempted to find anyone who would assist in finding and convincing
the Violet Spider to remove the curse on all of the cloud giants. He has reached out
to the following:

Ergush
The discussion with Ergush happened because Alendross spoke he sought to assist in
the quest to find the Violet Spider. There was a substantially long conversation with
Ergush in his shrine, but the final result was that Ergush stated there was no way
that is known to find and talk with the Violet Spider. Ergush pushed Mojabosombo
toward coming to terms with his own condition and the curse itself, and succeeding
past it instead of trying to remove it. Mojabosombo was very disappointed, but wanted
to embrace those words, so he is trying to come to terms with his quest.

Azorinne and Delkinen
Mojabosombo asked the Sun Warden to talk with the Golden Child about what possibilies
that one knew of the way to reach the Violet Spider. That pathway also ended in
a deadend as through Delkinen it was stated there was now way to find the Violet Spider
and thus no way to have a conversation or discussion on the nuances of this ancient
curse. 

Nalasul
Mojabosombo sought the wisdom of this divine being while talking of the late dwarf
bard. That bard Mojabosombo could not come to kill because he saw him as still a 
"baby" dwarf and too weak to fight. The dwarf also confirmed that, continually talking
about its lack of abilties as a bard which made Mojabosombo sad for him. Mojabosombo
offered up some of his internal strength to the dwarf to make it not a "baby" so he
could bring the wrath of Thar-Eris upon him. Unfortunately that never happened. During
that time, Mojabosombo also asked Nalasul for a path, and none was found.

Everyone of the Tree has been very supportive of helping, but there is no direction
and it continually seems to be that the Violet Spider will not want to be found.

For the Sticks!

Mojabosombo has spent a lot of time honing his ability with polearms, staffs, and
spears. His obession is becoming well known and his attachment to sticks in general
continues to flow about in his chaotic mind. He continually reminds anyone who he
talks to of his love for them. In specific situations when he is confused or put
in a tough spot, he will suddenly blurt out that he loves them in an attempt to
satisfy the question, but its really a simple mind overwhelmed by complex thoughts.
This simple obession drives continually and endlessly through his mind and he will
try to get many others to embrace it.

Finding Peace or finding Betrayal with the Violet Spider?

Mojabosombo has been attempting to find peace in how he was created, and cursed, by
the Violet Spider. Ergush has said that he should embrace who he is and see this
as an obstacle that makes one better through life. That overcoming that obstactle
despite its existence is the way to go. Mojabosombo wants to remove the obstacle
but it seems that is impossible in every avenue he has taken.

Except for one..... that Mojabosombo has discovered. That has thrown him into chaos.

It has come to Mojabosombo's awareness that priests who are cloud giants have the
ability to remove the curse upon themselves. How this is possible, or what they
must do is unknown, but many cloud giant priests have sought and removed the curse
successfully. Why is it that every divine being Mojabosombo sought has stated there
is no way to remove the curse, yet the cloud giant culture has a specific and real
path for this to happen? This realization has shaken Mojabosombo and even his simple
mind is clouded with confusion, fear, paranoia, and uncertainty that there is 
something else going on than everyone seeking to simply help him on his quest.

Mojabosombo as turned from accepting his fate now, to finding out why this path
has been so hidden from him for so long.... What is the lands hiding from the
SKY CLOUDY?

Rejection by Lord Ergush and Renewed Vigor to remove the curse

Mojabosombo approached Lord Ergush with additional information he learned from his
kin regarding that their priests sometimes, if they prove themselves, can remove
the ancient curse from their flesh specifically. Mojabosombo asked if Lord
Ergush knew of it or was hiding it to test Mojabosombo. Lord Ergush got very
short with Mojabosombo and said that Mojabosombo should be happy with himself
and if the cloudy giant wishes to continue down the path to cure this curse
that he is not the one to approach any longer. Very quickly Lord Ergush spoke
final words and disappeared, leaving Mojabosombo crying and stunned in the
shrine of the Big Cat.

Broken and unhappy, but renewed that he there is a cure now and that he just
needs to find someone to help him. Mojabosombo has decided that he will go
to any ends to help his people with this terrible curse. He now plans to go
and continue to go to any divine being that will help him and do whatever
it takes to remove the curse from his people. 

Know that Mojabosombo is NOT seeking it to be removed from him, but to remove
it from coming generations.

Finding Jormyr, Finding the True Great Winter

Through Elebe, Mojabosombo was told that a massive winter had
come to the Tree. That massive winter was Great Winter Jormyr.
Mojabosombo's true Lord but Mojabosombo had thought he was
gone to the Great Winters, no longer able to return or desiring
to return to his followers. 
But there before the Tree, Lord Great Winter Jormyr was there.
Mojabosombo could not contain his excitement, and the words
of Lord Jormyr rolled across Mojabosombo's flesh like a beautiful
chill of the coldest winter. This caused all of his goose flesh
to bubble with enjoyment and happiness. This renewed Mojabosombo's
vigor with the lands and his purpose to find a cure to the Violet
Spider curse.

Lord Jormyr asked to speak to Mojabosombo alone, and there he was
quested to continue the path and to seek out priests of each different
way of their souls (light, dark, and gray) and learn why they seek
what they seek.

In addition, Lord Jormyr spoke of further conversations, to talk
of the para-elements, their understanding, and Mojabosombo's place
within the smooshy elements of Thar Eris. While still believed
dormant within Thar Eris, Mojabosombo believes that Lord Jormyr
has returned, just for him. And he will be the Great Winter 
Champion upon Thar Eris.

Finding the cure to the Curse of the Violet Spider

Mojabosombo has been questing for a little more than
six hundred years, and randomly while continuing to serve
Her and her ways. Defeating Her enemies, and teaching her
ways to those that wished to hear, Mojabosombo suddenly
felt a bright lifting of his soul and flesh. Suddenly out of nowhere
felt the Curse of the Violet Spider fall away. A sense of redemption
washed over him and within him a huge amount of joy and happiness. 
Why has this cure came at this time? Mojabosombo doesn't
know specifically why, but is guessing that the only
way to remove the curse is not from all of the sky cloudy kin, but
instead through the hard and dedicated work to Her by each individual
cloud giant. Perhaps there will never be a cure for all of his people
or perhaps there will be. He has not given up but now finds
more contentment in that the path, while not straight forward is still there
for any of his kind brave enough to walk the path long enough for
REDEMPTION!
