Description

This half-drow is tall and spindly, with the strong facial features of a human upon an elven skin tone. His dark-gray hair hangs well beyond his shoulders in well-kept braids, with a bit of beading to frame his face. While nothing about his physical appearance is striking, his manner exudes a supreme confidence and charisma, with dark green eyes that gaze far into the distance. On his left ear is a small earring of three swirls in a triangular pattern, the symbol of fate and possibility.

"Fate weaves the threads of our lives together.  Fate also wields the 
blade that cuts them short."
"Few know their place in the cosmic weave...fewer still can lay their 
hands upon the loom and influence the pattern."

The role for this character revolves around fate and possible futures.  
He strives for a sense of order among the chaos of possibility, and 
strives to control fate as much as he can.  He takes the greatest 
pleasure in shifting the course of lives, and seeks to do so for the 
world itself.  History, he believes, only cares about major events that 
change the fate of not only those involved, but all others as well.

He was taken in and raised by a nomadic people, never knowing his 
parents, and learned their beliefs regarding the realm of possible 
futures any individual action can take.  He has never forgiven his 
parents for abandoning him, and thus his views on their peaceful, 
fluidity of life beliefs was twisted into a desire to manipulate others.

He feels that inspiration, morale, is a way he can tip the scales of 
fate.  He became a bard so that, through the power of persuasion, he can 
control the destiny of those around him, for good or ill.
