Description
Before you stands a strange looking man. He stands almost six feet
tall, more if you measure to the top of his frizzy hair. You can't
quite make out his build since he is covered with a big cloak that
would probably fall apart if it weren't covered with caked on mud
and bits of straw and other random wild plants. His long white
hair and beard are no cleaner than his cloathing. You do notice
the points of his ears barely poke through his hair, and his noes
is also a bit elfish. Looking closer you see....

Nhalius Fedrianka was born to two simple folk who lived in the woods
near the small folk of Thera. Somewhere between Dagdan, the Halfling
Lands, and the part of Cragstone which the sun shines upon, lived a very
successful vintner and his wife who's cooking could rival the best in all
the realm. They were very good spirited people, but they did not care
much for the cities in the matter that they service and even protect the
people of evil nature. This instiled a sharp hatred for the wicked, for
they are empty and without a soul or spirit as far as Nhalius was
concerned.
Ever since he could walk Nhalius was exploring the woodlands. Observing
the creatures, finding berries for his father to make into wonderful wine
and spirits. Everything was fine until one day some men came to the their
cabin. The wine Nhalius's father makes had become quite popular and caught
the attention of people from all over the realm. A large giant with orange
hair and a short man with pale skin and a crooked grin came to buy the
recipes for those spirits. When Nhalius's father refused, out of nowhere
two men faded into existance with weapons ready. His father readied his
staff and yelled to mother "Get him far away from here!" and then he ran
off to fight them all.
She did take him far away, south to the woods of emerald green. There she
was able to protect him from the evil of the world. It was not long before
Nhalius noticed there was something different about him. He could pat out
fires with his hands and not feel the heat at all. Water would sometimes
freeze to his touch. As he grew older his abilities grew to great powers.
Once he was old enough he set out to explore the rest of the world as he
always wanted.

First off, Nhalius hates those who are evil. They are rude and greedy
murderers who aren't even nice to one another. They will kill each
other for personal gain and think nothing of it. However Nhalius does
think the essence of evil is part of nature and belongs there. However
some races are so tainted that nature cannot rid the lands of them.
He is a very caring person who is friendly to most everyone, sometimes
even his enemies, depending on how polite they are of course. He does
however have a deep hatred rooted deep in him. It is toward the races
of evil nature that he hates because they do nothing but cause pain and
suffering. Nhalius believes that these races have no spirit within them
and are the equivilent to mindless zombies. He calls them hollow or the
"hollowed" because of this.
Not all evil men are of these wicked racial heritages. Sometimes the
persuation of evil can taint a goodly spirit. These people must be
hunted for only in death can a spirit find the light of purity. Even
though Nhalius would hunt these men till their body can no longer be
flesh, he does not hate them but rather feel sorrow for them. For they
are constantly being tortured within their spirit, which drives them
to do the wicked that they do. They must find redemption in death.
Nhalius doesn't like the idea of civilization. He hates anything that
protects what he considers the spiritless races and will do everything
he can to eliminate the wicked from the realm inside or outside a city
protected by the "law".
Nhalius has learned that there are others that have beliefs similar him
who gather in a place called the fortress of light. Perhaps they could
use his abilities to aid in the destruction of the vile creatures that
walk the lands.

It was not long before Nhalius found his way to the Fortress of lIght.
After speaking with the Maran and Acolytes of the Fort, Nhalius agreed
that they both had the same virtues and he pledged his alliance to them.
After many days Lady Padwei herself came down from the heavens to grant
Nhalius entrance to the Fortress as a Scribe. Honestly Nhalius felt a
bit out of place among the others there. He was used to slow travels
and fighting only defend himself, not marching with large warparties to
hunt other men. Most of the time he felt singled-out and thought every
one thought he was just a slow simpleton who was more of a hinderance
than help. It was obvious that Nhalius had much to learn before he could
be of any real help.
He made many mistakes that cost him and other their lives, but no loss
was ever in vain. Nhalius never stopped learning from his travels and
the wisdom of the others seemed to rub off on him. The most notable
lesson he learned was how to keep the little ember of anger within him
from flaring up to a great inferno of hate. It was the kind words of
the other members of the fortress which gave him the strength to stop
himself whenever he would feel the fire begin to grow. Something which
he had not felt since the long past of when his parents were with him.
Whenever times were turned to the worse it never mattered how bod it
got. All he had to do was think of the companionship he and the others
of the fortress had developed and nothing could hurt his spirit. The
thoughts of the old times when evil had not yet come to Thera were what
he woudld often dream of. There was no longer doubt in him that those
days could once again be restored.
It took quite a long white before it happened, but Nhalius found comfort
among the others of the Fortress and saw himself worthy of the title of
Scribe. He hoped one day that he would learn what it truely means to be
an Acolyte.
