Description
You notice a humanoid form standing in front of you, his body seeming
extremly frail. But despite of his clearly lacking bodily strenght, he
radiate and aura of confidence that make you question your first assessment.
You notice small sparks moving across his body, as well as random flames
errupting from his exposed ebony skin. Moving up to his face, the first thing
you notice his his eyes. The silvery white eyes is seemingly enveloped in red
hot flames, that randomly errupts outwards. Dispite of this, the humanoid
that clearly is of dark-elf origin, dont seem to suffer any evident damage.
His ebony skin is unblemished by scars or impurities, which shows that he
come from a high standing family.

Finally Nhil got results on his search for answers regards the horrendous
dreams. In the caverns under the temple of Loch Grynmear Nhil found a
Priestess, that had the answers he had been seeking. Suddenly everything
became clear to him. The red eyes beckoning him with torment, belonged to the
darkest of entities, the trapped lord Zurcon.
For months after his initiation Nhil thought hard about what he could do to
aid the divine Annhihilator. Eventually he came to the conclusion that he
would seek out the lost Demon-Knights, and harness the power they brandish
one way or another. Nhil made a promise with a dark prayer of sacrifice, that
he would become strong enaugh to siphon the power needed and break the ivory
box out of the sky. Either with the Demon-Knights at his side, or with their
power in his veins.

Mister - Miss - Respect.
Nhil has an inherent respect for everyone, untill they prove themself
unworthy of such. If someone has lost Nhils respect, it means he will never
again aid them. He might travel with them, but never grant shields, or save
them in a critical situation.
Greatest.
Nhil firmly belive he is the greatest mortal to ever graze the lands of
Thera. This results in that he never accept defeat, nor admit to a mortal
being more powerfull than himself. If someone kill him, it become an
obsession to repay the killer with his own blood.
Thieves.
Nhil seeks to make all thieves, no matter their affiliation, his spy and
personal tool. He value thieves as the best allies one can have.

Having gained access to the immense libraries of the Chasm, Nhil started
researching the incoherent writings of the insane priestess. After months
burrowed in the tomes and scrolls, he came across some references to a dark
temple, long gone from the average mans mind. This ancient temple, currently
hidden beneath the home to the Order of Calatius. The Order of Calatius has
been haunted by destructive tendenses, since they moved to Loch Grynmear.
Nhil contined to read about the history of the Order. For such peacefull men
and women, where meditation and reflection was practiced, there was extremly
high occurrences of suicide, disappearances and murders. Sane and collected
people start ranting madly overnight, others just give in to the darkness
within. The list of incidents just went on, with seemingly no ending. What
caught Nhils eye was a sentance at the end of The Book of Calatius.

Discovering the Scions.
Added Sat Apr 9 02:11:07 2005 at level 28:
Having spent years on the surface, Nhil is slowly adjusting to his new life.
During his travels he has come across dark men and women, who say they reside
within the chasm, the scions of eternal night. Nhil made an effort to
research their purpose, and what he found interested him greatly. They were
scholars and warriors of darkness, tapping into the powers of the night and
shadows.
Although his focus has been diverted from his main goal on the surface, by
training within his guild and growing in power. He is still painfully remined
of his reasons for being on the surface every time he sleeps. During his
search for answers regarding the scions, he has come across many vauge
references regarding ubearable terror within the nights. But nothing concrete
came out of his time in the various libraries within the cities of Thera.
Nhil started considering aiding the scions in their cause, even if he had no
particular interest in it. Just to gain access to their knowledge of the dark
side of the world. He belived that if anyone had answers that could lead him
in the direction of his goal, it would be them.
Dreams.

Sweating like a madman, Nhil woke in agony, like he did every night. Even his
dark mind, used to torture and death, could not fathom the terror his dreams
brought him. All he could remember in his conscious state, was the crushing
darkness that not even his trained eyes could pierce, and the unblinking
burning eyes, staring at him from a distance. These dreams took a toll on
him, leading him further and further down a path that he could not see the
end of.
Tired and weary, yet curious, Nhil decided to research the meaning of his
recurring dreams. Night and day he sat in the dark libraries of the
dark-elves, looking for answers. Nhil found vauge references to gods past,
histories and ancient lore. Yet after weeks buried in the books he found no
answers, only more questions.
This changed one day, when he met an old dark-elf who went by the name of
Rhiznan. He was an ancestor of a priestess mentioned in one of the books.
This priestess was supposed to have experiensed the same dreams as he did.
Nhil got a broken story from Rhiznan, about the priestess' search for
answers, and her failure. Before Nhil left, Rhiznan came to him with an old
book. The notebook from the priestess' search. The book was filled with
insane drivel, writen by a mind who clearly long ago submitted to insanity.
Yet one sentance at the back of the book caught his eye.
"Chanting in the blinding light, sinking into soothing darkness!"
