Description
The slender frame of this rather ordinary human female is matching
a fairly slim face, with a short nose and half-open brown eyes.
The straight black hair is cut short above the shoulders,
as well as around the face, never obstructing the sight.
The smallish arms and legs are somewhat fit, with rather
unusually prominent muscles at times. Her skin is somewhat
glistening hue of white, somehow almost shining forth.

As she grew up in a well-off family in Voralian's merchant circles,
Nikria had not a worry in the world. All she ever wanted her parents
would buy her. That lasted until a fateful night when she was just
fourteen. On that night, she awoke to realize their house was on fire.
Terrified, she ran downstairs and stumbled over something in the thick smoke.
That something was a charred corpse of her father. Screaming, she inhaled
the vile stench of burning wood and flesh and nearly choked to death.
Coughing violently, she stumbled out of the house to see the remains
of her mother strewn across their porch in pieces. Nikria vomited
and fainted just outside the burning house.
Thankfully, the neighbors picked her up and carried the limp girl to their home.
There, when she came to, she was told that a party of well-known imperial soldiers
were to Nikria's house, setting it on fire and killing her parents.
Later, she would learn that an emperor refused payment for goods her father
tendered, and when that payment was requested in writing, simply sent his goons.
Overcome with sadness, Nikria retreated far from the city and started to
train herself with the swamp ranger guild in the arts of the fighting.
She vowed to grow good enough to be able to protect the life of others
and to end the violent injustice of the empire and their ilk.
Her spirit grew with resolve as she swore to herself to avenge the deaths.
The squire

As her knowledge improved and the training paid off, Nikria started to hunt
those of the dark and especially the imperials as their souls were of utmost disgust to her.
With some success as she proved herself, Nikria started training in the Fortress
as the squire, hoping one day to become a fabled Maran.
In the years of travel, she has heard of Ergush, the spirit protector.
She set out to seek him and his guidance to better understand self and to
better be able to protect the life and realm.
