Description

Standing before you a towering Arial over seven feet tall. A mix of deep mud brown, and light sand feathering cover his body. Several trails of midnight black feathers slope gently down his face, and rest loosely upon his shoulders. From the tendrils of hair you notice sloping shoulders give way to long wiry arms. Even beneath the feathers you can see the sinew pulsating almost to a rythym that only this arial hears. Upon his hands you notice patches of feathers missing, andsome even matted in blood. Square hips complete the winding torso of the figure, and give way to loose long legs that seem to dangle from this base. Here the feathers grow darker, and lose their sand colored hue Finally you draw you attention to his eyes. Fiery red eyes seem to swirl from the hollows of their sockets. Flecked with silver they seem to be born of from hellfire, and possessed with a hidden fury. You glance over his clothing assessing his worth..

Role

A Hunters Order.

**** Whipping black tendrils slash through the green underbrush****
The furious sounds of wings flapping furiously bounce back and forth between the trees.
You hear the shrill scream of a wounded bore.
As you rush towards the scream you hear a thumping upon the ground, in a seemingly rythmic way.
As you peer through the bush you see a young arial slamming his spear against the ground dancing.
His eyes glow with fire as his spear but slams into the earth in a maddening state.
The freshly slain boar seems to be at the center of this strange dance.
The arial slams the butt in an almost star like pattern around the corpse as the dance picks up speed.
Suddenly the arial stops and peers about him sending panic through your bones.
He slowly crouches on the corpse and draws a dagger from his sash, carefully carving the boar.
"OBBE HUNTER OF NATURE ORDER" He chirps.
He draws some meat from the slain corpse still dripping with blood and throws it in the air.
Opening his beak he catches it and clamps down tightly, blood trickling from his mouth.
He continues to skin the corpse as you slowly creep away from the scene.
What a strange bird you ponder as you head back to your camp.

Learning to write.

Added Thu Mar 17 14:46:39 2005 at level 14:
Soon Obbekeje grew, learning of the ways of the staffs and spears hearing their song as he swung them against his foes.
He visited the Shrine of the one in the desert, and spoke with the Perpetium trying to learn of its mysteries.
Yet the Perpetium was silent, never moving.
Obbekeje retraced his tracks back to the cities it was here he made a giant discovery.
He spoke with several of the Spire learning of their hunts, the acts of Tasild wrestling criminals from the bush.
These tales excited Obbekeje and so he wished to be part of them.
Yet, he could not write and so he found a female bard to write a missive for him.
Sessha Rivenhjeld a Sunsinger for the Great Lord Innis.
It was her who taught Obbekeje how to write.
For hours he struggled to write his own name.
Finally he formed the letters "O-B-B-E-K-E-J-E" upon the black parchment.
He would now write the missive to the Spire of his intentions of joining the hunt, for while he rested in Galadon he saw Aerik.
Aerik another Bard of the Outlanders was quick with his words battling the Captain, Taslid Nargrim and their guards.
Aerik struck a good deal of damage but was felled in the end.
Obbekeje's eyes were alight watching the bard fight, and his blood boiled and yearned to battle Aerik.
These Outlanders, criminals in their own write, the strongest of the prey.
It was here Obbe would find his true prey, they were at the top of the pyramid of nature's hunting order.
They were strong, quick, and moved i nteh brush.
Always moving, free of the burdens of the cities and their metals.
Obbekeje understood he would have to train for hours to pick their scent through the leaves and track them
through the foliage of the most dense jungles.
Obbekeje felt his calling, and answered.

Skinning of hides.

Added Tue Apr 19 17:40:16 2005 at level 40:
As Obbekeje grew he learned more from his guild in the ways of hunting his prey.
He shed much blood within this time, trading blows with Wolves and criminals alike.
As he grew he learned of many warriors who where trained in the ways of not only one weapon, but two.
It was in Obbekeje's tribe that the true hunters used spears.
Obbe sought the knowledge of Lord Trabryn, but could not seek his wisdom and soon turned to another.
He spoke with Lord Marmaanth who told him of his mortal days, and how he finished his foes with the quick swipe of a dagger.
Lord Marmaanth crafted Obbekeje a dagger, similar to the one Lord Marmaanth used in his days.
He gave Obbekeje the dagger. With several thrusts Obbekeje examined the dagger.
Testing it for strength and combat abilities.
The dagger felt natural within Obbekeje's grasp and so he went to his guildmaster seeking to understand the ways of the dagger.
Still ever greatful for the guidance of Lord Marmaanth, and the use of a dagger crafted by himself.
