Description
A large monstrosity looms near you. Huge horns curve off of it's
massive head reaching towards the sky. Deep brown eyes peer from
behind the long snout of this beast. It is covered with a dark
brown, thick fur over most of it's visible body. It is tall,
most likely around seven feet tall. The torso of the beast is
quite muscular and well defined. It's torso is more that of a
human than beast. Black hooves seem to grip and tear into the
ground with every step he takes. There is a look of defiance
that is settled in his eyes. Hanging from his chin, is a short
but thick beard. You notice that he scratches it quite often and
wonder if it maybe new to him.
Upon a closer look, you can see that...

Ornerne was born into Thera a monstrosity to most. His mother, a human
raped by his father Tourlak, died while giving birth to him. Her family
wanted to slay the young minotaur, and were proceeding to when Tourlak
entered the village holding his axe in hand. The village being comprised
fisherman and farmers, dared not to confront the beast. Tourlak came
strutting in and headed towards the womans hut where all the people were
gathered.
Once there, he saw the bloodied body of the mother and some of the elders
holding his child with a dagger in one hand. Becoming consumed in rage,
Tourlak swung his mighty axe and lopped off the head of the man holding
the dagger. All the rest in the hut immediately scattered and fled the
from the village. He strapped his axe to his back, grabbed his child in
one hand and the head of the man in the other. Stepping out of the hut, he
saw the village empty, only a few animals scurrying about. With a growl of
amusement, Tourlak tossed the head into a small fountain in the center of
the village and carried his son away.
Rebellion against his own.

A number of years had passed since Ornerne's horrific birth. His father had
taken him back to Seantryn Modan and began to raise Ornerne in the minotaur
ways. His father also began to teach Ornerne of battle and weapons. The
minotaur as a majority were brutal warriors with a few cruel priests. Their
existence was purely that of battle, cruelty, and blood. They gave little
thought to those they were harming or the cost of their actions. All of
this seemed to Ornerne, as rash and illogical. He couldn't comprehend that
some would just shed blood of others because they got angry, or didn't like
what they said. He also notices a lack of structure or organization within
the minotaur community. There was some, but not to the degree to be highly
effective at reaching goals or achieving anything of worth. He began to
resent his kin for their rash and un-logical actions. He soon became unable
to continue to live among them or participate in their actions. He left the
ranks of his kin to pursue a life of reason and organization.
