Description
Far more cat than human, this creature gives a feral snarl and constantly
sniffs the air, testing its surroundings. Clad in rags and various animal
furs over its red and orange striped coat, this felar seems barely evolved
beyond its animal roots. It constantly flexes its claws, as if expecting to
use them at any moment. Lean and wiry, it gives the appearance of a hunter,
one who is willing to go to any length to track and destroy. A mace is slung
across its back, the only weapon other than its claws in evidence.
Role
Barely more than a beast

Not all of the felar race have progressed far beyond their roots.
Paktoouf belongs to a band of felar from the wastes of the north,
a band that began from a few fela who escaped their original
enslavement by the magi quite quickly. These felar have never
forgotten, nor forgiven their creations. If anything, they've
regressed, not progressed, and Paktoouf, while capable of speech,
is clearly uncomfortable with it. His hatred of magi is a
part of his being, and has been since he was whelped. He is more
felar cat than anything else, prone to rage and anger, and
ever wary of magi, who he sees as the same as those who once
enslaved and tortured his tribe.
Disgust and dedication

Paktoouf is extremely pleased to have been found worthy to enter
the village. Proud that Jinroh found his answers among the best
he'd ever heard, and proud of his continuing dedication, most often
against great odds. He finds himself repulsed, however, by the myriad
villagers who fail to leave their huts when the odds are against them.
He has decided to be more open on his views, and call villagers to
task. While he hates any sort of leadership role, he feels he must
speak out against those he despises.
