Description

A majestic, massive fire giant image stands imposing before you. His giant form is well chiseled and designed. Its flesh is a soot black, opaque, not shiny, but instead ashen and soaked in shadows. Bright eyes shine like small pyres blazing in his skull, almost if they are backlight by some power or perhap just by sheer will. Its movements are deliberate, smooth and deceptively quick despite the sheer volume of his flesh and bones. The majesty of his form is then balanced by an overwhelming feeling of barbarism. His armor is bone, stone, and flesh. Cobbled together with snaps and metal barbs. But despite its haphazard appearance, it looks strong, fitting, and utilitarian in design and purpose. The top of its skull is capped with beast flesh of some unique and strange origin so most of his visage is not clear. His eyes still continue stand out, and what is left is his weapons of choice. Bloodied, gored, but underneath the gore, very well maintained. You focus more upon his image and see his belongings in detail.

Role

The Aristocrat of Kiadana

Added Thu Dec 8 14:06:52 2016 at level 23:
Panitorop was a young and privileged fire giant. He grew up
within the social constructs of the Kiadana aristocratic
upper echelions. There he learned the proper and best technique
for the social norms expected of one of his stature. He was
destined to be one of the top advisors to Lord Kiadana. He
was, in his young years, filling that role well, and would
soon be one of the chosen.

Panitorop had one hobby which he enjoyed most beyond the
the every day dealings and deceptions of the royal court.
He loved to hunt. He stalked the wilds, alone, knowing
he had no trappings of comfort or others to save him
if a situation turned ugly. The greater the beast he
hunted, the greater the thrill. Panitorop enjoyed the
fear of it, the rush of it, the bloodlust of it, everything
involved in the hunt.

He found himself beginning to view the trappings of
the royal court as something lesser than what he experienced
tramping about upon his hunts in the wildest of places.
He has taken trips to the Underdark to hunt juvenile
cavefishers while avoiding their... very dangerous
parents and the dark elves that protect their home terrain.

The greatest thrill was the hunt for the draconian kind.
Beasts as smart as he was, devilish in nature, devious in
design. They were the most dangerous of prey. For the line
between the hunted and the hunter was blurred completely.

That was living.

The Distaste of the Pampered Life, Aristocrat of the Wilds

Added Thu Dec 8 14:08:05 2016 at level 23:
Upon returning from any hunt, filled with emotion and
bloodlust, fear and satisfaction, the trappings of the
Royal Court and its bickerings lost its flavor. Panitorop
began to see prey instead of fellow members of the aristocratic
society. They were weak, devious but without structure,
even soul. They played a weak game of cat and mouse while
Panitorop experienced the true game. That is where life was
and that is where Panitorop slowly realized that.

Panitorop was sent to the Warrior Guild in Arkham to
train. There he found himself more on his own, and more
missing the hunt, and less the caverns of the King's
chambers. He would sneak out at night, a young man, and
search the area about. Learning the terrain, finding the
best ambush spots for prey, until he came upon a strange
and massive Tree.

There, voices spoke within the woods. What he didn't know
is that it was two chameleoned Outlanders. They were talking
of theory and life. Panitorop listened out of curiosity
as divinity protected them from him, and they paid him
no mind.

"The hunt of the civilized is delightful!" sqweaked a
strange dark elf that looked exactly like a tree.

"Yes, it is. Their flesh cuts easy and their blood
nourishes the land. Soon Thar-Eris will return and we
will have full walk of the land and its hunts." It
was a fire giant that looked like a massive stone.

"I cannot wait. These things are so soft, but they are
tricky. We will ferret them out." again said the tree
shaped dark elf.

"Welcome to the ultimate hunt. Those of the wilds hunting
all believe they are better than us. The trappings of
the comforts created by the civilized will be torn away.
And they will be left to experience life as it truly
is." The stone colored giant muttered again.

Panitorop began to understand. Those of the chosen of
the royal family were not strong. They were weak. They
embraced the One Law, but not truly. This was the One
Law. There was no backup plan, no assistance. If you
survived you thrived, and if you died, no one cared.
This idea intregued him. And so did doing whatever he
wanted.
Panitorop slunk off, offered his pledge to the Tree of
Life and the centaur. He wishes to be one of these
"Reavers" and be the true best of the wilds. So began
his path as warrior, as beast, as Aristocrat of the
Wilds.

Blood Sacrifice, Dragons, and Thar-Eris

Added Thu Dec 8 14:08:36 2016 at level 23:
Panitorop also dabbled in blood sacrifice. Mainly he
enjoyed the hunt and the spilling and divine sacrificing
of blood was his way of appreciating life. As well
as returning the beast's soul back to the lands.
Panitorop continues that tradition, but now seeks to
do it with the most powerful beings of Thera. Be it
civilized or not.

Panitorop knows of the Crimson Dragons. Beasts of
uncontrollable power and the most difficult to hunt.
The fire giants of Kiadana worshipped them and paid
them heed, which always disgusted Panitorop. That is
not the One Law.

So Panitorop's main focus and goal in life is to hunt
dragons of increasing strength and age. By sacrificing
their blood, as beings of the most powerful level, he
hopes to return Thar-Eris to its ways. So he can be
what he believes he is, a true beast to hunt the wilds
without limit.

The Aristocratic Nature Versus the Beast

Added Thu Dec 8 14:08:54 2016 at level 23:
Panitorop's previous life haunts him. He is always
proper in the ways he talks and negotiates. It is
a habit hard to break. Regardless of how "wild" he is
he continually walks with an air of hauttiness and
"higher than thou" attitude. Talking with Panitorop
is an exercise in both social graces and veiled
insults and passive aggressive nature. In a moment
Panitorop will most likely kill anyone and strip
them, but if they show action of the One Law he
will respect them and give them what they usually
want. Those who do not do so, will always be talked
down to and until proven otherwise, be a lesser
being.
