Description
Slim, but very well built, this felar stands just over 5 feet in height. His
muscular frame is covered almost entirely by silvery gray fur, which is
cleanly kept despite his apparent occupation. Jet black, the tip of his tail
stands motionless, regardless of his movements. A few minor scars decorate
his otherwise pure coat, patches of pale pink skin showing through his fur.
Chilling black eyes peer out at the world, and yellowing teeth shine brightly
from behind a fierce snarl, permanently fixed upon his lips.
Role
A letter home.

Father.
I apologize, I've not written since I left. But I have been busy, and I have
begun to do as I promised I would. I hunt them down and destroy the
darkfiends wherever they are found. I've had defeats, of course, but many
more victories. I will ultimately succeed, this I am sure. My resolve is
stronger now than ever.
I have also found others who fight the same fights as I. There are many who I
have come to trust, and even admire. A giant paladin, named Firunsheim, has
my respect above all others. He introduced me to others, called the Maran,
who share the same fight, and share their strength within their Fortress. He
has since become their Squire, and fights among them.
I attempted to follow in his footsteps. But my attempts were in vain. Those
of the Fortress care more for talk, than for action. They shunned me when I
spoke of defeating the darkfiends with a blade. They all seem to think they
can be talked to, and convinced to change on their own will. They may be
wiser than I, but they have not seen what I have seen.
I will not join their Fortress, I will not walk among them as equals. It
troubles me only that they all share the same belief. This foolish hope that
the darkfiends will suddenly change, and embrace the light, when there is
clearly no chance of it. Each that I spoke to offered the same words, as if
they were read from a book rather than from their heart. But it worries me.
If they all share this same belief, perhaps it is I that is mistaken. I don't
understand them, I don't understand their beliefs. But I will learn. I seek
out now their Lord, the Skyborn Shokai. Perhaps he can make me understand.
