Description
This felar is rather small and fuzzy, with dark black fur on her body,
and white on her legs. She has a long tail that she seems very proud of.
Her green eyes watch everything with sharp interest, her head constantly
jerking in every direction. When she bares her fangs, which she does
rather often, you notice that they are sharp and white, like carved daggers.
She is usually in motion, a little ball of endless energy. It seems as if
energy is stored and stuffed in her. Despite her insane and wild looking
nature, she seems approachable, and harmless if she trusts you. You notice
a little patch on her left paw, and on closer inspection, you notice the word
'LihGt LovER' tattoed messily, obviously self-done.
Role
A BRIEF BACKGROUND
Added Sat Jan 7 10:16:09 2006 at level 1:
Reir is a wild little street felar found and brought up by one of
the kindly teachers at the Balator orphanage. She was brought back
and forced to shower, all the while kicking and yelling 'kidnap'.
Due to poor upbringing and teaching until then, she has tendencies
to be wild and insane. It is believed that she picked such
crude behaviour from the streets, or that the streets had drove such
a poor kitten mad.
At the orphanage, she was taught how to write and talk properly. She
still gets words jumbled up when she gets excited or in one of her
mad fits. She was also taught how to clean herself decently and proper
manners, and how not to snap her jaw and bare her fangs at everything
that moved. For awhile, the human kids at the orphanage avoided her
due to fear and Reir's unpredictable behaviour.
Slowly, the children started to play with her too when they saw that
their teacher, Reir's guardian, went about business as per normal,
treating the kitten as a normal creature.
Although insane and wild, through her silent observations, Reir admires
her guardian's silent teaching through action. Through her guardian's
set example, Reir was taught about the beauty of the Light. It is
something the mad felar holds dear to her heart, for her guardian was the
paragon of Light to her, living by example and not just talk.
Most would describe her as : Mad, insane, wild, crazy, excitable, inquisitive,
stubborn, lovable, unpredictable, zealous (overly), fearless, overestimates
her strength, energetic.
WHAT REIR SEEKS
Added Sat Jan 7 10:16:41 2006 at level 1:
Reir seeks the Fortress, and to be recruited as squire. She believes
herself to be a fearsome predator and mighty fighter, although that isn't
very true. Everyday at the orphanage, she prowls the streets nearby, and
sees the injustice being done by Empire centurions and their citizens. The
blasphemous calling of the dead and dark, and the bullying of the innocent.
Seeing these actions, and also her guardian's silent anger and beliefs
every single day has flared a strong little fire in Reir's heart, and Reir
wants to fight for Right, to fight in the front to protect those that
used to be like her - unwanted, innocent, bullied.
She was found and blessed with a guardian, now she wants to help others
find the Light as well and bless them by fighting in the front to protect
them. And so, the mad little felar translates her madness into mad zeal
for the Light.
REIR, RELIGION AND LIGHT
Added Sun Jan 8 07:11:13 2006 at level 3:
Reir believes in the philosophy of Aarn, for Aarn's philosophy isn't very
difficult to comprehend by her little cat mind and heart. To her, it is
about solid devotion to the Light and it's cause, a deep passion for
what is good and right, and a focussed rage against the blasphemy that is
done by shadow.
To Reir, the Light is a very simple matter. It provides and fills her with
warmth, strength, love and shelter, and her little animal heart tells her
it is what is good and right. The shadow, on the other hand, stirs up fear,
unrest, hate, jealousy and bitterness, and causes her little heart to
feel depressed and wrong.
Lord Aarn is a dwarf, and to Reir, dwarves are of blunt, to-the-point
nature. Not much of speech and fancy words and philosophy, but simple
yet strong action and belief. It is also how Reir is. And the fire that
started it's glow through her years of Empire and Guardian observation
is beginning to grow stronger as she matures into adulthood.
A LITTLE MORE ON RAGE AND REIR
Added Sat Feb 11 02:03:17 2006 at level 51:
Reir is of sphere Rage. To Reir, Rage is not meant to be suppressed, and
neither is it meant to be controlled. For Rage is necessary in the war
against shadow, yet it is so powerful it cannot be controlled.
Instead, she believes in guiding it to fulfil her duties as a Maran. To
channel her Rage towards what is loathesome. It is the driving force
which drives her to do her duty, a cycle in itself.
As she believes in the 'gentle' guidance of it, thus you will find her
generally her cheerful, insane self to any not of shadow. Only towards
the dark is Rage unleashed in combat, to attempt remdeeming them and
protecting the innocent.
THE DUTIES OF THE CAPTAIN
Added Sun Mar 19 08:24:41 2006 at level 51:
Reir is now the Captain of the Brigade as named by Lord Aarn. She feels
extremely overwhelmed, for suddenly, it felt as if a heavy mantle called
Responsibility was placed on her carefree shoulders.
Knowing the duties of Captain, she feels as if she is now forced to grow
up and pay attention a little more, and not merely chasing her tail and
improving on her flying hobby in her spare time. Instead, she must Guide
the Fortress to the best of her ability, to now harness any unharnessed
potential that may have been glowing quietly in her heart. For the shadow
is always on the alert, waiting to destroy the Light and its people, and
the Fortress has to be the most vigilant and prepared of all.
As there is currently no Cardinal, Prophet or Marshall, she is to watch
over the Acolytes' too and attempt to guide them as best as she can. She
will do any sort of Guidance with the form of Action, and not so much of
words. As from a young age, it has been her way of speaking, and she
has deduced it to be the the best and clearest way to speak.
