Description
Form-fitting clothing, adorned with dark, earthy tones, cling to the
weathered frame before you. Perhaps hailing from unforgiving desert lands,
the sun-kissed skin and galloused hands of the human before you tell tales of
adventure. Stormy blue eyes that appear calm and approachable offer a sharp
contrast to his rugged, dirty blonde hair, almost like an oasis amongst the
vast arid expanse. His lean, agile body conveys an aura of coiled energy, as
if ready to spring into action at any moment. Every sinew of his being seemed
honed by years of discipline and training, a testament to his endurance,
nimbleness, and no doubt an iron will.
Role
Background

Grew up in some small lower-middle class house on the outskirts of the big
city of Galadon. Wasn't exactly poor but couldn't afford much more than the
basics, mostly bread and vegetables, and the cheapest cuts of meat once or
twice a week. Father taught me discipline the hard way, but my mother was
always a source of comfort when I'd need it. Helped teach me compassion and
understanding, but also to be firm when needed.
When I was young, I was pretty adventurous and would travel further and
further as I grew older. I recall seeing theft and violence around where I
grew up, in the poorer parts of the city, and those who were sworn to uphold
the law would swiftly arrive to deliver justice and restore order. They kept
the streets safe and provided me with an opportunity to learn and grow
without worry. I had always respected them for that and wished to one day be
like them.
Much of my developmental years were spent either in solitude or with my dojo
master, honing my techniques and perfecting my defensive studies. I tend to
be more reclusive and quiet, unless I'm with friends. I'm not some
bloodthirsty murderer and will often prefer to resolve conflict verbally
rather than physically.
Very inexperienced in the ways of this world, I'm often reserved in my
judgement and contribution, preferring to listen and learn than be the
boisterous voice in the room.
Goals
Added Mon Sep 11 11:14:58 2023 at level 41:
My only ambitions have been to join the Tribunal and to uphold the law, to
provide a safe environment for future generations of younglings to grow up
knowing peace instead of violence.
When off-duty, perhaps being able to get out and see more of the world that
would broaden my horizon and open up other future opportunities for myself
after I retire from the Tribunal.
Shown some interest in potentially learning more of the divine and the gods
that watch over us all. Of particular interest was the Lady of the Eternal
Library. When I was younger and still in training at the monastery, a polite
individual by the name of Strarmond introduced me to the Eternal Library and
promised to one day talk to me more on this subject. I still very much look
forward to our discussions and learning more.
Early Life in the Spire
Added Mon Sep 11 11:16:12 2023 at level 41:
When I was but an adolescent teen still, I was brought before the Captain to
pledge my service to the Spire. It was a little jarring at first but I'm glad
that others such as Friscko and Zelisha saw potential in me that even I
perhaps did not. It wasn't long afterward that the Provost, Atrael, brought
me on and handed me my badge. Having pledged my life to uphold justice, I
grabbed my things and boarded a ship for Seantryn Modan.
I spent many years in that city, becoming familiar with the royalty within
and the bustling streets, rife with begging, prostitution, and probably my
favorite bit of all, the seafood businesses there. The docks were busier than
I expected for a city so far away from everything, but I suppose when you've
got royalty around, they can afford to import the finer things in life.
My post in Seantryn was lonely, but I was used to the solitude. The other
patrolmen on duty in the city were not the nicest of folks, often looking the
other way on crime when the victim was of no importance. I suppose that's why
the Tribunal employs its own lawmen in the city, to pick up the slack when
needed.
For all the peace and quiet the city afforded, I still found opportunities
off-duty to meet with the other brave men and women of the Spire. It wasn't
long after doning my badge that I found a mentor in another. Zelisha Scynth
as she was known, who told me of her tragic backstory and the corruption she
saw within the Empire before leaving to be with those who actually cared
about justice. It reminded me a lot of what I saw in Seantryn Modan and we
bonded easily. She acted like a big sister to me, or at least what I imagine
a big sister would be like, as I grew up with no siblings. She's been there
for me when I was unsure of myself in my pursuit of justice and has guided my
hand on multiple occasions now. Thanks to her sticking her neck out for me,
the Provost saw fit to move my station to that of Voralian City, a stark
contrast to Seantryn Modan to say the least. I don't think I would have made
it this far without her.
