Description
A wisened aura envelopes this woman standing before you.
Her skin complexion is tanned, almost golden looking. A
slender body type, however seeming fit and athletic. Her
eyes reveal a beauty as if they were crafted by the Gods
themselves. She moves about with a smooth stride. Her
tiny hands are equipped with fingernails painted black.
Standing at about five and a half feet tall, her posture
seems trained. In fact, her entire demeanor seems trained.
As she walks away, right above the center of her waist you
notice a tattoo of the Imperial Codex, colored red and black.
Role
The why.

The thought kept cycling over and over. She wasn't chosen.
Each year, the Imperial Institute of Galadon sent a student
to Empire as their "prized" bloodoath. The recognizition
was an honor, but more than that, it created a path. Oaths
in previous years made fine careers as Citizens of the Empire
under the various four Sects. Why she wasn't chosen was such
a heartbreak. Really, she was exceptional. Exceptional in
her studies and in combat. Her peers had an envy for someone
so disciplined yet so beautiful. Little did she understand
the politics of this election. But the lesson learned, was
perhaps worth the disappointment.
Rhayla, then known as Silencia, developed an obsession over
her failure. She wasn't suppose to be an assassin. She was
better suited a wordsmith. Her profile was better out in the
open, where should could influence proactively. But not being
chosen changed her, caused her to drift away from this persona.
She started watching others, a lot. A desperate attempt in
discovering self-perceived flaws, she would be stalking...years
before the true art of stalking was taught to her. This hobby
she engaged in, would lead her straight to the entrance of
the Assassin's Guild in Galadon, where she would begin formal
training.
The Impact of Victory

Years have passed since she was in her years of youth. She
swore the Oath in front of Ktaar Kitane, Shadow Lord of the
Empire. The way she saw Ktaar was an awe type. She wanted
to be him. Only after much training would that opportunity
come.
The disappointment from not being chosen still lingered.
Rhayla developed an inferior complex, opting to minimize
any risk in combat. She didn't have to do this, as time
would reveal.
Ilmdrin, a drow assassin, would change her way of thought.
After relentless taunting, Rhayla elected to fight, with
all her skill, this drow assassin. Killing him quite
handily, then victories over Raatok, and killing Rezmar,
changed Rhayla. Her talents were no longer clouded by
the sense of inferiority. Everything had changed.
