Description
The female Half-Elf that is here is of average height, likely no more than
five feet tall, and built with a slender frame that accents her Elven
heritage. Her skin is pale, and retains a faint tint of sun-kissed tone,
though her facial features are a bit more Elven than they are Human. Her eyes
are almond shaped and a strikingly dark green, flecked with gold about her
pupils. Her nose is short, and extremely thin, matching the lines of her pale
lips. Her hair is the only thing that indicates the separation from the blood
of High Elves, almost silver in it's glossy state and held in braids that run
the line of her scalp only to fall at the back of her neck to the middle of
her spine. Likely, she's more in common with the Wood-Elves than those of
Darsylon.
She's dressed in a simple outfit of drab leathers and pale violet fabrics,
the leather covering her hips and chest, with the linen hanging loosely
between to cover her skin. Her arms are completely bare and marked with
spiral lines of faint orange tattoos, from her shoulders to her wrists, and
trailing down across the back of her hands to wrap a simple line about each
finger. A pair of knee-high brown leather boots cover her feet, laced with
thongs to keep them close to her muscles, and a heavy black leather belt
hands crooked from her hips, the many pouches tied to it pulling it down to
one side.
Upon closer inspection, it's clear that

Rikkiri BrushSunder was raised in a small encampment ruled by the laws of the
Refuge. Her father, a Wood-Elf Druid, was more than pleased when a healthy
daughter was born to him and his human wife. However, growing to adulthood
watching friends and family struggle for their nourishment and livelihood
does wear on a child, and so it came to pass that Rikkiri's first brushes
with civilization occurred.
Bartering was simple, yet there were certain attractions to selling instead.
Much easier to bargain with gold and silver than with scavenged goods and
plant life. Afraid of the reaction it would garnish from her family, Rikkiri
kept her dealings with coin in secret for a number of years, and marvelled at
the favorable reaction of her betters and peers when food or clothing was
given by her hand.
However, at nearly twenty-five, the Half-Elf was interrupted in her dealings
by a close friend of her father, and her exchanges with shopkeepers and
tavern maidens alike where a disgrace that neither parent would easily
forgive for. As such, in bitter parting and many curses, Rikkiri was cast out
as dishonored, and she took refuge within the gates of Hamsah Mu'Tazz.
Civilization seemed kind when her family would not be, and drew her further
into the heart of the city out of loss rather than fondness. It was then that
she found the thieves of the city to her liking, as they made the need for
bartering and haggling almost uselessly easy. On top of all, the smothering
influence of the Empire grew on the horizon of the city as its soldiers did
most of their business within the walls.
Order, and stability, it seemed, were intoxicating ideas that Rikkiri could
relate to more quickly than that of her upbringing. Little regret was felt
for her course into the cities, and more hate for those that would rather
struggle a meaningless existence by the lay of nature than have those rights
so easily experienced by the citizens of the great cities of Thera.
So, while youth and scorned emotions are not likely the best way in which to
spark an interest in a cause, they are powerful.
