Description

A peculiar elf is here before you, with both sides of his head shaved to boldly reveal the mutilated features, while the tight braid of a warrior grows from the middle to fall securely down his back. His hair is an odd greenish color, very different than most of his kin. A thick layer of charcoal, goo and ash is smeared upon his exposed flesh, cracking slightly with his fluid movements and creates a horrific visage of decay. Various armors have been carefully chosen and fastened to his lithe, muscular form in a meticulous fashion to allow for the maximum range of motion and combat effectiveness. However, there appears to be an ancient marking seared deep into the flesh upon his right shoulder that resembles the eastern sun shrouded in ash and flame. As a dull light catches his scarred face, his drowish ancestry is visible as it surveys the lands with a malicious sneer. Sharp daggers conceal themselves within the reach of his battered fists, each appears well honed and ready for battle.

"Mother! Father! You must come!" a young voice echoed through
the dank morass.

Yet alone he would remain.

Rizdyn found himself in a precarious situation in his youth.
His parents, both traders in the overworld had trampled upon
a concealed pit of slime and ooze-like water.

Their caravan was submerged quite quickly as were the
denizens aboard it. Most sunk near immediately in panic but
Rizdyn and his parents were  lucky enough to find a piece of
solid remnants of earth to hoist themselves to.

Rizdyn naturally took it upon himself to traverse the ooze
with haste before he became entangled to the point death was
inevitable. This was not without its pains however. Legions
of small skeletal fish emerged and small piece by small
piece, tore chunks out of his legs and feet.

Screaming in pain he did make it to refuge however and lay
their bleeding slowly into the slime, small fish feeding in a
frenzy over the pool of blood.

He called to his parents, but fear took them and the remained
isolated.

He watched as the hours passed and they slowly and painfully
met their end. Suffocating in the ooze.

He was given plenty of time to contemplate this and suffer.
His legs would take quite some time to heal as the infectious
substance he was exposed to coursed freely through his veins
now. He found himself in dire pain from this and sleep came
only for short periods.

His thoughts and dreams became intermixed and he lost the
ability to discern between them. He recalled his past life in
Galadon. His parents, both rogue traders. His thoughts and
dreams became twisted however, be it from the hallucination
of infection or something greater.

The city became a pool of slime and ooze, slowly sinking into
the abyss. The denizens of this place, all stuck, afraid to
swim to the refuge outside of it's walls. Trapped,
perpetually sinking to a slow, gruesome end.

Bringing Flame.

A voice entered his mind then, a voice that echoed blood and
fire through his mind. It spoke to him of Thar-eris. It spoke
to him of the ancients and it spoke to him most importantly
of what must be done.

The days came and went and the dreams intensified. 

The suffering from the wounds and infection is not something
he would ever forget easily. His parents demise weighed on
him as well for a time, but he felt more anger than anything
else regarding their foolishness.

He survived on grubs and the murky water from the morass. He
was changed physically during this time, as it would be many
weeks before he had strength to leave. His skin and other
textures were changed because of his time and near death
experience here, marking him for centuries to come.

When he regained his mobility and regular ability to exist,
he saw the world forever different. He no longer had any
desire to return to the world he once knew. He had seen the
truth of it now. As he gazed out upon the swampy ooze, he
declared he would never end up at it's bottom like his
parents.

He is highly focused on his development to do as the ancients
of blood and fire have given him vision of.

He serves no god or goddess and only desires to bring
destruction as the voices told him. He takes this very
seriously and is focused on the task the ancients have placed
before him.

He is somber and patient and not as wreckless and crazed as
most reavers. While truly chaotic and anarchistic he
understands a hunter can accomplish more than a rabid dog,
though a rabid dog is not without it's place.

He does not believe in good or evil, only strength and
weakness. The strong are capable of seeing themselves free,
the weak are not. Holding the weak prisoner to be your slaves
taints the very world itself.
