Description
The first thing you notice when you look at this woman is
her clothes, or, more precisely, lack thereof. Her clothing
is limited to a pair of boots, a belt with a sword sheath
and some jewelry. Everything else is open to the eye, but
she seems to be entirely comfortable with that.
At second glance you can see that all her body except maybe
for her face and hands is covered with scars. There is at
least one scar on every square inch of her skin. Some look
like cuts, others are more like burns, and there also are
some of unknown origin. Other than that, she has a full set
of rather nice looking bodyparts, so the scars probably are
not battle injuries. Whoever did this wanted to cause her
pain but not any more serious harm.
Her face with full red lips, fair hair, and blue eyes could
be pretty if only the expression had not been so cold.
Role
The Pain

Ronica spent several years as a sexual slave in a house of
one of the crime lords of Galadon. Things that happened in
his house stayed in his house, and those things were truly
terrible. Even though normally people don't have slaves in
Galadon, you never know what happens behind the doors.
Ronica's master was a cruel man. He liked the young woman
after seeing her once and kidnapped her from the house of
her parents, who didn't survive the grief.
He fount the greatest pleasure in causing her physical pain
in thousands of ways, the traces of only small subset of
which can be seen on Ronica's body. He never caused her any
incurable injury though, for he didn't want to break his
favorite toy.
When he called her, she never new what was going to happen.
Sometimes he would just talk to her and let her go. Or he
would tell her he was pleased and wouldn't punish her today
only to laugh a second later and try some new torture that
just came to his perverted mind. The only times the torture
guaranteed were the times when she tried to hit him or when
she tried to escape his house and got caught.
That's why, one time, when he was really drunk, and tripped
over something and couldn't stand up at once, Ronica felt
panic. She new what she had to do, but she couldn't move.
She fought the defeated half of her mind for what lasted a
second but felt like an eternity and then hit her tormentor
with a heavy bronze candelabra. And then she hit him once
more. And more. And she kept hitting him for maybe fifteen
minutes after he was already dead. And then she started a
fire behind her and fled into the night.
The Consequences

Ronica wears her scars as a suit of armor. This armor is
doubly strong since it is made of her beliefs.
She understands that people are different and it is dark in
people's souls that needs to be fought. However, she cannot
trust any humanoid male anymore. She won't have a problem
killing a neutral male. Ronica won't attack a lightwalker
male unprovoked but she won't travel in the same group with
such either. Ronica would be too afraid of him knowing when
she's too tired to move and taking advantage of that.
Ronica will never accept a favor from a male, nor will she
ever request anything from one. She does not want to owe
anything to them.
One other category of people she doesn't like are those who
live off some criminal business. She won't travel with such
and she doesn't consider their lives valuable.
